I was in Pune for more than 18 years annd at Bangalore for 2 years .. i must say Pune is very nice place ... People are good and vvery fluent in hindi ... Regarding food i liked Pune street food

hinjewadi is totally easy place to live in pune. Real struggle is East pune- Kharadi and viman nagar. I am paying 30k unfurnished apt for an average society in kharadi pune and you cant get flat without broker .Also Dogs and bachelors not allowed at most places.
True bhai we are paying 33k for 2 bhk fully furnished in a below avg gated society in kharadi Chandan Nagar . But wherever you want to go you will face traffic
Kharadi real estate has grown very fast.. Viman nagar alwayys my fav .. mix of IT and residents ..

Being an IT guy and also and infra enthusiast I would like to share one more important update regarding IT expansion in Pune. In Kharadi(eastern Pune) itself, IT park of close to 20 million sft is under construction which directly converts to another 3-4 lacs job creation in Kharadi itself in coming 3-4 years. Around 10 million sft under construction in KP-Mundhwa, Close to 7-8 million sft under construction in Baner-Balewadi, Close to 12-14 million sft under construction/proposed in Wakad, 4-5 million sft under construction in Yerwada-Viman Nagar. I haven’t included Mhalunge, Manjari, PCMC and Bavdhan here which will also add huge office supply in Pune. Pune and Hyderabad are places to be for coming decade. Pune is selling apartments like hot cake way more than Bangalore now because many from North started settling in Pune.

The company “Autodesk” in which Gaurav you are working in Bangalore is also have office in Pune’s Magarpatta city. You really don’t need to move to Bangalore to work in Autodesk and this company has been hiring in Pune for almost a decade now. You can still see many openings in Autodesk for Pune location.

@@ManoharBatra buddy I am going for a week or 10 days in a month there . And hotel prices are manageable for me but still it's costly around 900-1000 per day for staying only near hinjawadi area .

Safety is the main concern in NCR followed by no of job openings. I have rarely seen anyone going back to NCR when they have worked in Pune for sometime.
Gurugram crime area hai, dominating by local community toh woh bilkul safe nahi hai, khud ncr k log jana nahi chahte wapas.

Pune doesn’t have many product based companies is a wrong comment. He has stayed in Hinjawadi which mostly has service based companies. However, Kharadi, Hadapsar, Yerwada, Viman Nagar, Kalyani Nagar, KP, Shivaji Nagar, Baner, Balewadi mostly have high paying product based companies. Pune’s IT is not just confined to Hinjawadi. Hinjawadi is an oldest IT park in Pune. But now other parts of Pune has more companies especially high paying companies than Hinjawadi. So explore well before coming to conclusion.

indore is one of the best city of living as comapred to hydrabad pune because of less chick chick , also indore is growing at rapid scale metro is always constrcuted but main problem with indore is that indore has less it companies and oppourtunities then pune hydrabaad its obvious you know, but in future i think indore has so much potential because indore is slowly transforming from tier 2 city from tier 1

its not at all hot here in pune as it rain very often here . Most of my hostel mates always have a jacket on in the morning. We dont even use fan except during the day.
If you give luxury to your son in initial stage he would never understand importance of money. Let him earn some money on his own. In Pune, AC is not at all required unless you have a habit of living luxury life.
