    ==========
    Crossout Game Overview:
    Join CROSSOUT, the post-apocalyptic MMO Action game! Craft your unique battle machines from a myriad of interchangeable parts, ride them directly into game and ruin your foes in PvP online battles!
    Unique vehicles, crafted by players using a wide range of available parts: from nimble buggies to heavily tracked off-road vehicles or giant vehicles that use spider legs to maneuver around the battlefield.
    From chainsaws to power-drills, machine guns to rockets, and a wide range of variety including flying drones and stealth generators.
    Complete freedom of creativity and thousands of possible combinations: Create vehicles of any shape using a wide range of parts, with a wide variety of armor and gear to help support you.
    Your own workshop: create new and advanced parts, and auction them at the in-game marketplace.
    Advanced damage model: destroy any part of a vehicle and it will affect the machine's performance immediately.
    Trading options between players: every piece that you have gathered can be sold to other players using the in-game market.
    Choose your own battle strategy: Apart from victory, the only thing that matters is your Survival!
    PVE MISSIONS WITH PLAYER-CREATED BOSSES:
    Besides PvP, join PvE missions (Raids) where you can battle against AI. With enough experience, you are also able to design and construct your own giants, Leviathans, to battle against other players in special PvE battles.
    While you are getting experience from battles, you will also improve your standing with your faction and level up your driver, unlocking new parts, accessing new blueprints, missions, storage space, and learning new skills. You choose which faction you join and who drives your vehicle of destruction.

      i always used grilles under weapons. also if you connect grilles to cabin its harder to break than connected to other panels like truck door or apc panels

    2:30 Holy crap, I didn't know the cabin can basically become a frame when you need it to be. That is a REAL game changer for me since I like having everything modular - lose a wheel module *Shrug* Lose a cannon system *Shrug* Great video.
    Woah, I just noticed you did this entire thing in one take with no cuts or edits. That's as equally impressive as the engineering. Good job on that too.

      @jonathandavenport2500 Před 7 lety

      I don't know I actually haven't played the game yet, but downloaded it and was planning on it. I would assume it meant let your vehicle gain back it energy either for weapons, gas boosting, health, etc. I would also try googling, "in Crossout what is resting my vehicle" and modify the question if needed to get the google answers you are looking for. Have fun out on the battlefield.

    I've got a better idea for the fuel barel: You place it under the cabin, just like you said, but it should look in the other direction and then you cover it up with two 2x4 frames. Like this || fuel barel ||

    • @PolarIre
      @PolarIre Před 7 lety +2

      That's a great strategy I use also. I put the common and blue fuel tank there, my hazardous generator behind a few layers of sturdy wall behind the cabin, and the ammo crate I place in the back behind my engine. I make compartments for each of them, with 360 part coverage if possible. The top of my cardboard box is open but it's rare a shot drops strait down unless it's some arty.

  • @Psychotic6
    @Psychotic6 Před 6 lety

    For that last build with hidden wasps, you can get a little better "close range" if you put larger wheels at the back and smaller ones at the front, so you are actually a little angled :) .

    i've been packing a fuel tank, fuel tank and generator like this: two 6x2 frames lengthwise, and sandwiched between them are the explosive components. As long as the outer armor holds it's rather sturdy for as much of things that can explode as that, but once the generator is exposed you're basically dead.

    I prefer an 8 wheeled, double white cannon build. Big bumper and high acceleration engine. Have the cannons face the side of the vehicle and you got a great mobile weapons platform, or a hard hitting run by machines.

  • @maxime05c
    @maxime05c Před 7 lety

    Problem with under frame barrel is that there is many flip builds, and build that will push you up just being heavier than you. then a few hit on barrel and bang, you are dead, cabin took all the dmg. I prefer at the back, with gen and coolers and make a box around with some spaced armor. As well has put a heavy part, like half wall behind the cabin(directly) so it soak up the explosion, compared to a lighter part which wont do much. As for behind the cabin wasps and sledge hammer and thunderbolts. Use it while you can, they are working to fix that, cuz the hitbox is pretty much non-existent.

    So my craft has a ton of explosive modules on it, 3 Ammo crates, a generator and fuel barrel, now while it is protected all of that is tucked away in the same place, so when the fender and armor is shaved off and something explodes, it tends to destroy the craft.

    • @wise2872
      @wise2872 Před 7 lety

      And also what's the purpose of those pieces where bullets can pass through them? Doesn't that negate the whole protection thing since they can be shot through by enemies also?

    • @mrickman8150
      @mrickman8150 Před 7 lety +2

      Lunatics is a good faction to go with, if you want to focus on melee and shotguns. The lunatics also focus on the lightest armor with the least amount of protection. Basically each of the factions have their good points & bad points. It just depends on what you want to focus on. The pieces of armor that allow bullets to pass through are harder to destroy. Meaning that, if you place weapons on top of them, the weapon will last longer because most of the bullets will pass through that piece of armor instead of doing damage to it.

    • @wise2872
      @wise2872 Před 7 lety +1

      Ah, so if I want to focus more on MGs and close to mid-range combat would I choose between scavengers or nomads? Thank you by the way for the info.

    • @TRUgamingllc
      @TRUgamingllc  Před 7 lety +1

      If you want to focus on MGs then you would want to focus on the Nomads as they get to make the MGs and have decent armor/speed. For close range though I would recommend the Nomads because of the shotguns and missiles.

    • @ShapeshifterOS
      @ShapeshifterOS Před 7 lety

      Pipe armor can be shot through sure, but they are great against explosive munitions. Also great for mounting stuff on. Try this: layer of solid armor and then a layer of pipe armor. Pipes absorb explosives and solid armor behind that takes any mg or shotgun fire.
