I think these videos where you focus on one specific aspect of the game are a good idea. I see a lot of builds (even at higher powerscore) with fundamental design issues.

10:09 Don't mount your guns on top of Lunatic armor. Replace those with grilles. Your reapers have "only 380" structure but those panels the Reaper sit on have only 40 structure! If your Reapers take a single cannon shot those panels will fall off way before your Reapers fall off.
Grilles will reduce the damage from said cannon shot, also not one part. Place them on multiple parts

I like that tidbit about always having at least one weldpoint of the weapon attached to the cab, that's important.

It's good for frontal engagements with slow builds to have all your weapons in 1 spot behind the cab... as long as you can avoid getting flanked. Even though most people will target the weapons regardless, the balistics in combination with the snapping crosshair and 3rd person perspective that the game uses actually makes it, so many of the harder hitting weapons are unable to target the weapons properly. They either shoot above or hit the cab because when you want to compensate for projectile drop you have to aim slightly higher than the weapons and then the crosshair will snap to some point very far in the distance behind your enemy and your shots will hit lower than the weapons.... but if you aim lower the crosshair will snap to the cabin. This actually makes it an exploit too and not just "good design", but that's the devs fault.
I also think there can be better options to mount weapons depending on your build and weapons you use and your playstyle.
For example just NOT having all your weapons in 1 spot can improve immensely how long they will last when you are under fire, also mounting them in unexpected locations or having more protection from the side or rear depending on if and how you move in combat.
There really is no best way to build, it all depends on how you use your build.

I think the reason why the carapace cab has that very weird slanted front is because in the olden days with old tanks they would slanted it so that when the tank round comes in hits it can bounce off more better I don't know if crossout has that seem physics but I think War of Tanks has that kind of thing but I think crossout is just trying to mimic those kind of Tanks or tank caps

So what does "Now all frames have 50% resistance to melee damage and 90% ‘transparency’ for damage from all other sources." mean? Can they shoot right through the frames and blow up your gen?
This.
In my experience it's a lot easier to hit these explosives / weak spots now but this might be more due to the blast damage changes and less because of the frames. At any rate i would recommend adding some extra protection around the gen and cover up frames if there is space between your wheels.
Covering frames is even more important if you only have your cab attached to a few frame parts cause you have undermounted your gen etc.
What kind of "limitations" do you have ?
Cannot buy or sell. Don't have access to all legendaries ( have to request) cannot make a leviathan, cannot post builds to exhibition.

I use the wyrven and it is god awful to build around my builds always look like busses with 4 wheels
I'd say switch to the growl or try to aim for getting the Quantum. Both are really good in terms of their respective rarities, but they're also both light cabs.

I grind all the time, on my reg account. Promo has so many limitations and it isn't as fun to play. I never play for fun with my promo just test stuff there for y'all and before I buy on my reg.

I stopped playing this for years because, every weapon I used , or tried to use, this company gajin, nerfed them. I used the whirl winds and won so often that gajin nerfed the whirlwinds, 3 times in one week so i stopped winning completely. Then their was a meta of spark/harvester, that i worked my butt of to get, the same day I got it, later that day they nerfed both weapons so that they harvester and spark took 5 minutes to kill one car. so no matter what I used, gajins devs would emidietly nerf till I couldn't kill anyone. It felt personal. Then when someone was cursing President Trump in public chat, I defended him by stating how many good things he did. The chat moderator, Comrade Tiki chat banned me for 10,000 days for defending the true President of these United States. I still have 2500 days of chat ban left from the Fascist, COMRADE TIKE. HE TAKES IT IN THE HEAD TO MAKE MONEY
