That terrain reminds me a bit of the Falklands, very inhospitable at times, and all 4 seasons in one day. I know you're there to save money mate, but I think you'd be better off investing in some decent foul-weather kit, especially some proper hiking boots to keep your feet nice and dry. The last thing you want is a dose of trench foot! I'm really enjoying the series though Ben, keep it up mate, and before you know it you'll be running up that Scaffold Pike! Best regards to Anna as well, Tony.
Welcome back to sunny UK, where the sun shines every day, but only out of mu ass. I think that it has rained every day this year apart from about 10 days. Hopefully. You can earn enough money to get back to Thailand ASAP. I came back in January to either do the same thing or to start selling my property and retire in Thailand. Yes, you are correct about England highest mountain. However, Snowdown I here in Wales in a bit higher and in Scotland it's Ben Nevis which is Uk's highest mountain. Stay safe with all your dangerous hikes.
Cockermouth is pronounced Cockermuth, the same as Bournemouth and Weymouth. The mouth changes to muth. Cumbria is a wet and windy place but so beautiful. Hopefully you'll get to see the lakes, Buttermere is my favourite.
We will be in the UK from mid May for a month and visiting Hawkshead for a few days. What restaurant are you working at and we will shout you a few beers?
That’s a lovely offer, but it’s actually my last wkd here, I’m heading up a kitchen in a small hotel on the coast from Monday. I’ve struggled with the isolation here, it’s incredibly cut off, and the staff accommodation isn’t the best. Time for pastures new 😇
@@LifeinThailand777 All good mate. Enjoy your new job and sea air. We are going to the coast for a few days near Blackpool which is my hometown, then the Lakes, then Lincoln where my brother is based with the RAF, then Wales, then London and then back near Blackpool 😬. We will be ready for a rest when we get back to Thailand.
Go get that dough. Maybe some day in the future your youtube videos will be enough to carry you in your adventures in Thailan! All the best luck. Keep doing what u love 🙏
Yeah, that car is a Fiat. No wonder it sounds rough!! 😅 Well you're doing a lot of hiking while you're there. That will keep you fit. But I bet you're looking forward to getting back. I would be!! 😅
The weather doesn’t look appealing to me at all ( I am from the Midwest in the USA, the weather is always unpredictable.) No wonder I like tropical Thailand though the temperatures are 40+ degrees C in Isaan.🔥
Pleased to hear it wasn't for any other more sinister reasons... after the fire video, there was a air of anticipation for the leaving Thailand video. You're smashing it. What a great set-up to be able to dip back into British pounds when needed. You can enjoy knowing you have a beautiful place to return to. We're working towards this for 2025! Best of luck with saving all the beautiful British quids!!
Have you noticed a difference with the air quality ? The air pollution here in Thailand is still above the governments safe guidelines and I'm starting to feel it affecting my health....it's really about time they did something about it. I'm too heading back to the UK in a few weeks just for a break...just wondering if you had felt the difference ?
Massive difference Pete. I was getting really sick for the weeks preceding me flying to Uk. I had a constant cough. Not good at all. I’m thankful it’s only for a couple months each year. Although it’s too much still - I can’t imagine it’ll ever be sorted. It’s impossible to police, certainly in the rural areas. And generally speaking - the ppl who insist on keep doing it don’t have the intelligence or the foresight to change.
This month the heatwave continues...42 today and forecast to continue for the next 2 weeks... Aircon, fridge/freezer are even struggling 😂...I can't wait to get back to the UK for a break from the heat and pollution ....never thought I'd be saying that ! Also craving a really good Sunday dinner....you left at the right time....looks a nice spot your in there even if it is a little secluded. Your vlogs are making a change from Thailand. Cheers.
Watching your different videos 😊 as I searched through YT and found your chanel. Why don't you try working as a freelance virtual assistant? I believe it can give you money as you work online (and live your best life in Thai). Since you are from UK you'll surely get clients from there.
we live close to ya in Thailand ,, but its so HOT HOT HOT since Songrahn vestival,,missed a good one , its rivaling Dubai,Phoenix Florida during the hottest time of year, so cool rainy sounds good.
Vlogging and holding phone and driving is really poor form and against the law ,it really can affect your driving .you wouldnt drink and drive (hopefully) so you shouldnt do this
I get you, I’m used to being in Thailand I guess. Although probably still illegal, it’s a camera attached to my wrist, as opposed to holding my phone. But thanks for pointing it out - I appreciate it 🙏
Good video, but your geography is shite, you said you were in Cockermouth, when across the road from 'Paduas bar' which is in my home town, Workington. When you back to the LOS

Can't wait to see you back in Thailand

I am Italian and I can tell you, it was the relevant use of the word :) Arrivederci, e alla prossima puntata!
ah fantastico, grazie 😆😆
We are with you! I am making art to take to some markets in the southern USA, then back to Guatemala, for a while! Best wishes! How are the dogos? 🐕

Cockermouth sounds much funnier though 😅
Ennerdale is amazing
I love you videos stay fit
Greetings from Holland and Khon kaen
Waiting for new video
If you get to the top of Scafell Pike you’ll be OK; there’s a 7Eleven (no air con though) where you can get a hot bite to eat.
Also a little concerned about you providing evidence of holding a phone whilst driving. This is not Thailand.
Bet your looking forward to coming back 🇹🇭
You need to buy a compass and a map. If you experience a white out on those peaks you'll be in very serious trouble.
Great video Ben, but please delete the car bit before you create problems for yourself.

Hi Ben, Yes, you said goodbye in Italian, well done, 😂.
Take the money and run!!!
Wise man. Able to have time out without spending what your earning.
1 thing missing in the last few video’s, no blue pipe
😆😆

Not sure why you popped up on my feed. But I'm still none the wiser why you left Thailand? How long were you there?
3 years , I’ll go back again in a couple of months 👍

On second thoughts , let's NOT run to the top ! 😂
Make a lot of money and come back to Thailand 🇹🇭
Boss? I thought you are a self-employed gentleman farmer?

Can you hike like this in Thailand? Serious question.
Maybe in December yes
At least it gives you a chance to get a better level of fitness. Not drenched in Thai sweat after 5 whole minutes 🤣

Here in the Netherlands you will get a fine of 420 euro just if you are holding the phone in your hand. 🙄
bet your dogs are missing you
Don't think that was a stile, it was a kissing gate.
Still no comment, can't say what I want to say here
I don’t understand this comment sorry. Why can’t you say what you’d like to say? Feel free…
I apologise in advance. But who on God's Earth would what to live there!!!
Thailand is often too hot. That looks lovely there if you ask me.
So dont you have Thai wife/gf? U leave her behind?
She’s in Thailand looking after our farm 👍

lol I had just seen a sign for cockermouth and it amused me that’s all 😆. Another couple of months of work before back home 😇
See how fit you will be. 😂
Am I fookery... what a saying 😅😅😅
Nobody cares don’t come back
😆😆😆
