I like the starter set just because they are so light hearted. Great for new adventures to learn rules little by little without great danger, unlike the full game that can be rather deadly!

My take as well. Great change of pace and it matches the first chapters of the Hobbit and Fellowship of the Ring. Intentional as to match that feel and look of the source material!

I really enjoy the adventures, I think they do the job the designers planned. The downside for me is I had to read all of The Shire booklet first. I would have liked the adventures to have provided relevant tid bits of information required to reveal the setting as the story continued. Either way the Starter Set is amazing value.

Assuming there’s a page limit to the size of each booklet but yeah, not switching between two booklets while running or prepping an adventure is advantageous. Thanks for watching and commenting!
