    I bought a Truck that had a Receiver Hitch locked on and no key. I bought a LockPick Gun, but didn't know how to use it. I watched several videos, but yours was by far the most informative. After trying several times, and spraying some WD40 on it, I was successful. THANK YOU!!!

    Lock mechanics have fascinated me since childhood after watching various TV and movie examples of picking the mysterious contraptions.
    Not long ago, I purchased a pick set and snap gun, but without instruction I'd have a slim chance of becoming proficient .
    That, itself, your generous explanations are Wii guide me towards a consistent result, thank you

I might add, of the handfull of years I've been watching youtube and the multitude of subscriptions I have, you are first I've EVER commented to. That should indicate how much I enjoy your content. Can you explain what the brass wheel is on the snap gun and if there are different types of needles for different types of locks?

    • @HelpfulLockPicker
      @HelpfulLockPicker  Před 5 lety +1

      The brass wheel essentially makes it snap harder and there are different tips mostly you need it to fit into the key way and not have it touch the warding. Snap guns are fun to play with but not the best rapid entry method

    I have a very good suggestion for everyone. Absolutely do not shop drunk! There are a lot of counterfeiters out there. I paid over $32 for a gun that probably cost no more than $6. It certainly looks the part. But the tensioner does not work. And it will almost always strike the pins at the wrong angle. It would take a lot of finesse and be more of a pain in your ass than it is worth.
