That main impact spring is tac welded in there inside that little box housing up top. That thing isn't coming out unless you drill out those tac welds. The 3 picks it comes with are utter crap they bend after one time use. Better off ordering them or making them from hack saw blade. I don't have any extra picks on hand so I don't know how good it actually works but I suspect the picks bending as they do takes allot out of the sharpness of the impact to the pins.

All lock geeks should own at least one pick gun.. Even though I hardly ever use mine its good to blow the dust of once in a while just to remember they can be fun to play use even practical in a lock out situation..
