Я один обратил внимание на то, что сколько обзоров Go-A не смотрел везде кучу лайков и только 16 дизлайков... конкретно 16 почти везде))))
на фоні деяких наших хейтерів які від свого фанатизму до Хаята з піною в роті обливають лайном Go_A і де можуть пишуть про те що це не формат для ЄБ і що ми цього року займемо останнє місце.
вони ніколи не скажуть нічого поганого , тому що аудиторія таких реакцій-відео це українці, і їм явно не сподобається коли хтось проявить якусь критику .
В ролике присутствуют Австралийцы и Американцы,их назвать Европейцами сложно...
А вони всім так говорять. Говорять не те, що думають, а те, що від них хотять почути. Інакше їх не будуть дивитись.

Reminds me how Ruslana broke all Eurovision rules in 2004 and set a trend that everyone still follows. This one could be the next game changer.

This is a love song about forbidden love in folk style with modern styling. And the color choice is very traditional as well, especially in Ukrainian embroidery: red symbolizes love and black - sorrow, which is perfect for the song about forbidden and therefore tragic love. And the very futuristic outfit transcends the time. A very strong original entry.

If this doesn't qualify, I will be extremely sad. One of the best songs so far, and definitely the most ethnic.
@Rebecca Woolf It really would be awful. This is such a good song. To be honest, I'm not worried about Australia failing to qualify. I think that it's probably going to be really good on the Eurovision stage.

@@geminix365 I think it definitely has potential for it at this point. The only thing I'm slightly concerned about is how the Juries are going to react to it.
I don't think that it's even a question whether it will qualify or not, I'm easily seeing this song in the top-10. It's something totally new, it's not just another folky song, it's the best ethnic song to ever make an appearance on Eurovision in terms of staging, styling, uniqueness, authenticity and its overall pagan shock value. I think it should appeal to all Europeans, not just Slavic nations. However, it's also a daring/risky song, as people might just dismiss it as being 'weird' - it's a huge risk, but Ukraine doesn't play by the rules
@Rebecca Woolf Montaigne, Australia's singer, said she wants Cirque Du Soleil staging for Eurovision. The Australian already started talking staging as soon as she won. The other countries you mentione had unappealing songs/bad vocals and rightfully didn't qualify. The Australian song is in almost everybody's top 3/5.

Love this entry:; modern and "ethnic". An other good choice from Ukraine, chapeau!
It's a 'white voice' or 'white singing' - style of singing in East Slavic folks songs (but also in Poland although they are West Slavs and in Bulgaria - South Slavs) and Baltic folks (Letts and Lithuanians). It has nothing to do with racism, that means a clean high voice, or several voices.

Its South Slavic (Yugoslav) style of singing also.
Personally it's not my taste but once again Ukraine is giving us quality and uniqueness once again. It will stand out against everything this year.

I absolutely love this song!!! The only thing I could fault is maybe her facial expressions, she is amazing already but maybe looking into the camera a little more can add to that connection with the audience?

My only criticism for this song is the pyro-guitar. It looks cheap, while the rest of the production is just of the highest quality.
Phiusmes They didn’t have it in the semifinal performance so no worries we don’t even know what the final staging is going to look like anything can change!
She does not need to "connect" with the auidence! She sings about her pain, for herself! It is great the way it is.

i am Ukrainian Canadian but to hear Ukrainian being sung in pure voice is sooooo beautiful and its vocalnig that Ukrainian is not muscoviy/russian that the language and culture of Ukraine is its own. And yes Ukraine has put forth its roots baby and it is glorious????!!!!!

💙💛 I wish Victory to Ukrainian song "Solovey 🐦 a nightingale"! Folk song is the soul of every nation in the world. For Ukraine, a song is both a soul and a weapon and the elixir of life - this has enabled us to survive for centuries and to be preserved as a nation. It is very good that the group "Go-A" has modernized the folk song - after all, life develops as well as the forms of its expression. I wish other nations the courage to present their identity at Eurovision!

I love this song and it's already in my top three. I heard the studio version before watching the live version, and I pictured the staging and outfits to be a more bohemian style with lighter colours. I wasn't expecting the red and black, but it really does work

Rachel dear, Ireland did it long ago with the Voice, during the celtic revival of the nineties, and won 1996. After 3 wins in 4 years we've had to actively try to lose year after year because all the hosting bankrupted us badly. It still feels as if we are still trying to lose, we can't get out of that habit.
Our traditional music isn't fashionable anymore though, this decade is that of the vikings and the steppes. Still Ukraine is pretty brave to send something so cultural.

I really hope, that no matter how the Eurovision voting goes, that a lot of people will discover Go_A (either now because of selection, or because of the main semi/Final..) I was lucky to have found out about Onuka in 2013 and I've listened to them every day since (and made trips to 2 of their gigs..), I wish I had found out about Go_A at the same time, their songs are amazing !!

yay we found a song that Deava likes:) this is my favorite so far.
It reminds me a lot of Trio Bulgarka, who appeared on a couple of Kate Bush albums in the late 80s and early 90s. I'm a big fan of traditional music styles and beats, so it hits my 'world music' feels very nicely. I'm always pleased when entries play to their local strengths and infuse their music with their traditional sounds. For me, it's what a European contest like Eurovision should be doing more of. For these reasons, I feel it deserves to place in the top five and I wouldn't be at all disappointed if it won.
