I just realized, this is about the nicest Al has ever been to Marcy.
Ironically, this is also one of the few times Marcy and Al not only got along but also where Al actually helped someone get through a rut with positive advice
Its just easy to forget what with the others running around panicking about the ashes XD

My all-time favorite episode. The first (and best) 'Bad to the Bone', Al scoring four touchdowns in one episode on Peggy, Steve eating Marcy's aunt like a BOSS, Peggy smoking an entire pack all at once, the slapstick chase at the end... MWC at its peak.

Even though it was REALLY rare in the show, I always thought that when Marcy and Al were on the same page made for a nice and usually very funny moment. Like this one, or the one where they are both in the bar.

Love Steve's smug expression on his face. This whole scene/episode was just pure comedy gold. Married with Children has to be one of the greatest comedy sitcoms ever. It's certainly one of my faves. U don't see comedy made like this any more it wouldn't be allowed. The whole chemistry between all these actors is so enjoyable to watch

I started this whole series couple of months ago. Each time I eat a burger, I love just watching this scene.

This has always been my favorite episode of MWC, very very funny with a surprise ending. It almost has a touch of Alfred Hitchcock Presents or EC Comics from the 1950s.

I love this, but there's a bit of missing context - the kids had been going through the neighbors' houses to find ashes to put in Al's grill. Mostly fireplaces and ashtrays of course

Also Steve was fantastic for MWC. He was such a flexible character that could interact with Al and the others is so many different ways compared to Jefferson.
