About Married with Children:
The less-than-lovable Bundys are a radical departure from the saccharine-sweet TV families popular since the days of Father Knows Best. With offbeat humor and unflinching honesty, Married... paints a more realistic picture of middle-class existence, warts and all. Al Bundy (Ed O'Neill) is a shoe salesman who is fond of frequently reliving his doubtful 15 seconds of fame on the football field. Al is terrified of the all-too-frequent amorous advances of his ditsy wife Peggy (Katey Sagal), who spends most of Al's wages at the salon and the mall. They have two teenage kids: stunning but superficial party animal Kelly (Christina Applegate) and egocentric Bud (David Faustino). Married for 16 semi-blissful years, Peggy and Al have found that the secret to a happy marriage is to accept one another's idiosyncrasies.

"I welcome Death."
😹😹😹😹😹
The theme music 😂😂😂😂😂
🤪
I love have Al walked to chair
''Steve ''Juice me till I'm ash, there's no way they're getting that car 😆😂😂
The way Al just power walked to the chair just shows that at this point, there was no fighting his fate. xD
The Steve era was the best!
I agree Steve was 20 times funnier than Jefferson
Agreed. IMO the show gradually started going down when it comes to grounded comedy (in favor of a slapstick, cartoony approach) the moment he left
Agree wholeheartedly
Peg really maxes out the voltage even though she only needed 81 to beat Marcy/Steve 🤣
Payback for him spinning her on the wheel earlier in the show
Steve's "A woman's place is in the home" remark to get Marcy going 😂🤣😂💯
Didn't he mean "in the kitchen"? That way the sentence would really be insulting (unless he meant: a home for old people)
He was right.... that's why he left her
David Garrison was something else !
"see you on the other side RHOADES"😆
Too easy Steve 😆 🤣 😂 😹
Peggy turned Al into a super hero. Mr. Alectro.
This family and their Fox-body convertibles. I love it!
Hey, it's Joe Isuzu!😆😆😆
2:29 Al's Eyes The Best
David Leasure plays the smarmy game show host perfectly! Lol I miss him doing commercials.
He did Mitsubishi commercials for a while, right?
@@chitlitlah Isuzu
@@justintyme7213 Ah yes, that's right. I forgot they existed.
@@chitlitlah lol, understandable
Joe Isuzu was the character's name. His schtick was, every word he said was a lie.
Beyond hilarious episode 🤦🏽♂️🤣
Especially that part, where the fat women sat on Al at the same time 😹👍!
There was no escape from fat women for al...
How you found out? Your kids sold you out for a square meal 🤣🤣🤣
I love the fact, Al got to keep the car and they brought it back in other episodes! Like the labor day one, where they get stuck in traffic! ..... Oh the cow kicked Nelly in the belly in the barn!!! 😆
That's so true! That was the car lol
Hey! Good observation! I never realized.... thanks for pointing it out! :-)
Definitely one of the best episodes ever
Fun Fact: the episode featured Ed O’Neil’s wife Catherine Rusoff. They’ve been married since 1986.
Nice.
The game show model?
@@420villain The other female contestant.
What ?
@@janetarteaga4191 And the other male contestant is Geoff Pierson, who years later played Jack Malloy (the alternate Al Bundy) on Unhappily Ever After
"I welcome death!"
Poor Al 🤣🤣🤣.
That was when TV was educational.
Al: I welcome death.
Me: .....I don't think he's kidding.
Where else can you laugh at a semi-suicidal minimum wage shoe salesman?
Marcy would've done this to Jefferson even without the car on the line
If this game show were real, it would be a huge hit.
Why ?
It would be sued into oblivion after the first episode, but people would absolutely love it.
It will come
They tried these shows in the 2000s and it wasn’t getting ratings
In Japan it probably exists.
Groucho Marx: "I've heard of Shocking experiences but this is ridiculous."
😂😂😂😂
Those electric chairs were the best thing, I laughed like a drain.
2:25 🤪 😆 Peggy is just awesome 😄😄😄
Ey audience! Look at him twitch! 😂😂
"Right Bink!" 😁
Wow, Peggy really loves the fox body
That look on Al's face when they first mention the electric chair 😂
Battle of the century, folks.
The way Al does the death walk to the chair had me rolling.
Juice me ‘till I’m ash…they’re not getting the car!
It was no competition.
This was one of my favorite episodes in the series.
3:47 The best moment!
One of my favorite episodes.
I love how Peggy went to 110 when she only had to beat 80 😅
Al has predicted gesture control TV remote
“ she’s a waste of a human liiiiiife … “
Peg I'll get that car over Al's dead body. The other bloke adored his wife, but he said, bink, Al won't let me touch the lovely Zelda! Bink replied, then you won't be getting a shot at the clinic!!! MWC, the 🐐 of all sitcoms IMO...
For me, this might be one of the best MWC episodes.
I am married with children AND I also welcome death..
Boy I feel sorry for Al,I mean taking in that much electricity is insane 😂
I know what Peggy did, but what did Al ever do to have such disloyal children?
Not providing a better life than what they have. Ungrateful
@@JSolar590 no wonder Al planned to leave everything to Buck, he’s a worthy successor than his two kids.
@@theodorecarter6601 he is a shoe salesman
Al never told his kids he loved them
Well Al does routinely insult them, some episodes show he pit them against each other for his own benefit, seems honestly kind of neglectful...
The Bundy's are in general terrible people which is why it's hilarious when bad stuff happen to them. They usually deserve it. Except for Kelly she seems to have a better head on her shoulders than the the rest of them.
Steve more Al less 😂😂😂😂
How do I love thee
Another classic
Al welcomes death😂😂😂😂
Leela from Futurama is hilarious
In my top 5 favorite episodes.
Lmao every time i watch it
PEGGY Could Not Care Less 😜😜😜😞😂😂😂😂😂😂lol get
Love Hurts !!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 🤯
Still respect Steve though : "A Woman's Place is in the home!" ROFLMAO
🤣
Oh come on, honey!
It's for a car! 🚗
100
Now that's funny.
Money Making Monday
👍👍
4:12 Poor Al
Who plays the judge?
And by the next episode we never see the car again and Al is back to Driving the Dodge did they sell the car or what? or did Peggy wreck it?
It was shown in other episodes, but rarely
Is that Steve Martin?
David Leisure...
Joe Isuzu
I WELCOME DEATH
Back when Marcy was hot
Those were the good old days. They sucked. But at least MWC was funny.
Chicken legs
I love to hear Pegs laugh!!lol
I just wonder how Al went through all that pain than Steve. Because Al came home all zapped 😅😅😅
