Prepare your answers to the most common questions ahead of time and practice. That will make you feel prepared and have more confidence going into the interview.
I watched Cassandra's video and prepared my questions ahead of time. They asked NONE of it (my company is weird). But even so, I felt that preparing for those questions gave me the confidence I needed to ace the interview. That feeling of "I have the basics covered, I don't have to worry about the basics anymore" allowed me to free my mind to deal with curveball questions. And I appeared more confident in the interview and got the job as a result.
It is so important to smile especially during these virtual interviews! We recently interviewed a lady who actually answered our questions very well but she was out of the running specifically due to the fact that she never smiled or seemed like a pleasant person to work with.
I appreciate the tips in the video. It's just crazy to me that people's minds are made up so early on in the interview. It seems like people are making decisions based on their snap judgments and their gut rather than being presented with the information in front of them.
I am amazed and very grateful to have found the wisdom of your guidance. I got the job!! I'm 56 yrs old and transitioning into a completely new field. It is a training position and they picked me!! Thank you for moving me through the best way to interview.
I just got a job because of your help I'm so grateful I found you. Pat yourself on the back.
She was piercing into our souls and made us better at interviews.
This made me Lol
@@CassThompsonConsulting I am glad to oblige.
Thank you Cas. I had interviews and I believe that I did well. I am awaiting to hear back.thanks for all the tips.
Hi Cass. Thank you so much for your interview help videos. There are so many great things that I could say about them. One of my favorites was your morning routine. I interviewed for a manager position and used the one question you should ask your interviewers. I was nervous. They had never been asked that before. My interview was on 12/14/2020. I got the promotion! I thank God for leading me to you. Thank you again. Take good care of yourself!
Thanks Cassandra! Good stuff as usual 👍
Love your videos you are a great help!
Great Cass, you are the best! Thanks a lot
🙏 Awesome video. Just what I needed. Thank you so Much.
Great video, really well explained, completely agree on having a story ready!
Such great tips! Thank you.
Thank you for the the great information, I’m looking for a job in a hospital right now. I will give these tip a shot! Cheers!
Practicing before the interview is key and of course everything else you said. Had an interview yesterday and have another next week. Thanks for the tips!!
Thank you so much for these videos! They help a lot and I tell all my friends about them. I followed your advice with my recent interview and landed my dream job! I asked the hard question at the end of the interview too! I start my career at the end of this month. Thank you again!
Thank you, you’re tips really helped me organize my thoughts and know what to say and what to avoid saying as well. I appreciate you and your help.
Only discovered your channel a couple of days ago, but have learned some great practical stuff already, thank you! Also, I just love the accent 😁 (I’m a kiwi 🇳🇿)

With best regards
Your videos are so helpful. I actually used your tips and I finally landed a job I have been working toward for 3 years. I honestly didn't realize the interview process was so crazy and a job in and of itself.
Congrats Dakota!
Your videos really helped a lot I had 3 interview recently and ended up getting 3 offers and all because of your tips. Your videos are so helpful please keep them coming.
have a second interview tomorrow - interviewing in the land of zoom is definitely different! Loving the holiday decor in the background & of course all your content!
Good luck!
I have been binge watching your videos for the past few days in prep for a big interview coming up. I'm trying to transition from direct patient care into another field. I've realized I have been answering questions in a wrong way - relating answers/skills to healthcare experience. I feel less nervous for this interview, because I currently have a stable position and another company that is looking to hire me with my experience. I'm telling myself, do your best because you want this but you will be ok no matter the outcome.
My question you may shed light on is: What do you do if you have 2 opportunities? You want one more than the other but it is more of a stretch than the other opportunity, which you also like. I'm thinking about delaying the other meeting for a few weeks until I find out the outcome of this interview because they are not in a hurry. However, I don't want to leave them up in the air and burn that bridge/opportunity that may not present itself again.
Landed a full time job last month and just completed my first week! Your videos definitely helped me during my prep, thank you!
Congrats amber!
I always research the company before hand
Binge-watched so many of your videos and I can't begin to thank you for the confidence and help they gave me. I got called this morning saying that they were offering me the job. Oh and I asked the hard question :) Guess it does really work. Thanks a ton!
lol, same : ) congratulations,,,
Practice mock interviews are awesome
Here watching
I got the job! Thank you for your helpful tips.
You’re welcome and congrats!
Very nice tips- tfs
I got the job!!!!!!!!!!! 😍😍😍😍😍
How do you go about small talk in the beginning of the interview when there isn't any information about the hiring manager online?
Check your tech that is a great idea
Killer first impression? Can you translate that for a English guy please ? Great video
I have an interview in person this Thursday. The phone interview went really good. The lady I spoke to made it a point to tell me it's business casual. I have always dressed in a suit going to an interview. I'd hate to dress business casual and risk the chance of the job. Maybe instead of wearing slacks and a jacket, I can wear slacks and a nice blouse?
When you said, “those fun fun questions” somehow my mind reverted to “those fun f***** questions” like a sarcastic type of fun lol!!!🤦🏻♀️ 😂
But how do I get an interview?
Should I put a job on my resume that I haven’t been with for less than 90 days?
Does it happen often that interviewers would say "we only have 5 mins, tell me about yourself" and conclude the interview after that? I've never heard similar real-life examples (not saying there aren't), but I am interested to get your thoughts on whether that type of situation would be considered a "red flag" as it kinda gives off the vibe that they don't really respect the candidate's time? And unless it's a tactic that they use on all other candidates, it also seems a bit unfair..... What do you think?
Anyway thanks for the videos and tips, they sure are helpful!
I have actually heard of this happening in teacher interviews but it’s more to get across your main points in a short period
I have my first job interview tomorrow, do you think it would be professional of me to bring in a post it note with questions?
This info is too late for your most recent interview, maybe it will help others. I recommend that you bring a notebook/portfolio/folder and you can have your questions written neatly on part of a page. I have used the notebook to jot down the names of those are in the interview or write a note that came up at the interview. I also recommend to bring extra copies of your resume and reference list. Good luck!
I’ve got a job interview on Tuesday for my dream job and I’m honestly so nervous!! It’s a zoom 1:1 interview (the second part of the process) and I’m so worried I’m going to answer something wrong or just mess up😭
Hope you did well!
@@CassThompsonConsulting I’ll know in about 2-4 weeks but i asked the hard question and the lady interviewing me straight out said she wasn’t hesitant at all in hiring me and mentioned everything she was impressed with! Thank you so much for your videos, they’re a literal life saver!!!
I had a phone interview on the 11th, two days later I emailed her to follow up and had no reply. Yesterday morning I called her and then we set up a zoom interview for tomorrow (final interview) using these tips!! She says I’ll find out if I have the job at the end of the interview and with these tips I hope I can get it I’m filling out a google doc with all my answers to these questions I’m just afraid if they ask something I haven’t prepared
My position was recently eliminated
Can you hear that? ….the career confidence is about ability to pretend good false picture of yourself and not about your professional qualities…your experiences, knowledge, extraordinary special skills and mastering of a board - nothing of all that seems to matter these days... And I was still wondering why I almost everywhere meet totally incompetent people who don’t know doing well their job.... so we end up in world where telephonist don’t answer your question, engineer returns your car even more broken, chef prepares disgusting meal and waiter refuses to deal it or manufacturer sells you piece of cr@p that breaks before or right after warranty.... and that’s all you get for money you had to work so hard for...
Is this suppose to be common sense? Lol
