DIPPLIN : Why Is No One Playing This!? Easy 200 - 360 Damage! (TWILIGHT MASQUERADE)

- DRIPPLIN can attack twice! It can even deal as much as 360 damage! This build also has the most broken support pokemon, THWACKEY. As long as Dripplin is in the active spot, you can use Thwackey's ability to let you grab any one card from your deck. This build is insanely good!
(This build was designed for 2024 STANDARD format Regulation Cards "F" through "TWM" Expansion)

The game you had against Dragapult is the reason I run a 2-2 Rabsca line haha.
Fantastic deck though.
If we get a great Hydrapple it could get better.
Who would win: A literal stealth jet that's also a dragon or the candy apple that I dropped as a kid
Lol, nice analogy.
This deck reminds me of the troll coin flip dragapult deck and the salazzle/butterfree deck! Looks like fun times are back!
Can you do another Greninja vid? Loved the last one! Also a Iron Valiant deck would be cool
That frostlass deck drooling over this deck
I fought one just recently, it was a teeth clencher, but I managed to get a win on my very last move before all my pokemon died. 😅
Fros is difficult, but if you can take them out early, you can win. It's not hard to take out two Pokemon as they only have 90 HP (frosslass + what they feed me) and I can usually get an attack off before they get their big pokemon evolved.
1 strat I employee to boss up a frosslass, ko it and do the second damage to whatever else is put up. Often times that allows me to take out two or three prizes the next turn: damaged big boy and next frosslass.
Facts you can just pass turn to kill everything
@@dannik9932 I've also been thinking about fighting fros with this deck and this is a quick and easy solution. thx man
Doesn’t a Rabsca stop it?
On the festival lead decks, been playing the festival engine in decidueye ex. You get a board on goldeen and 3ach turn you can escape with decidueye get your searches then retreat back out.
That's very creative. Nice!
feel like the only thing this deck is missing is a Eternatus Vmax ability that lets you extend the bench. Doubt we will get one anytime soon but it'd be fun.
There is a staium coming soon in a new set that can expand the bench. But yeah, it would be broken.
Awesome man!
Thanks
diabolical work!! down right dastardly!
The drip apple is too strong
😂 Lol, I misspelled it. For a second I thought it was Dripplin.
@@PopsicleKnight dripplin sounds better ngl
The apple makes it dripping in my pants though
9:48 43:20 love your evil boss laugh man
😅
Another great set!
Thanks again!
I’ve been playing this a lot, I play a 3,2 rellor to make snipe and spread decks a more favorable matchup, but also because dipplin needs so many Pokémon in play. The extra basics always keep the damage high
Wow! That's a lot of Rellor. But that is true, you don't want to run out of basic to bench to increase the attack.
This will only get better once the new Hydrapple comes out in Stellar Crown
Great video! but that first opponent should be denied Dragapult privileges, damn
Thanks
I recommend playing a Goldeen just in case and Roseanne to get that maximum belt and a stadium back.
Like you, I also run two Boss and one counter as I don't find myself behind in prizes often. I usually just boss around cornerstone ogerpon with no problem. 2 Boss + pal pad is 4 Boss. The other option is just run Rillaboom. I like your cologne option as well.
Something else you might consider is Lana over fishing rod to get the Pokemon directly to your hand. I run one of each. You can get a full dipplin line back to your hand with it for one or less uses of Thwacky. I run one Lana one rod.
I dont like goldeen cuz you have to dedicate too many cards (goldeen and rescue board) just for a niche scenario and you could just cut those for more consistency
Lanas aid is a awesome tech that saved me multiple times but you can go either way with 2 super rod or 1-1 of each
I have been debating whether to choose roseanne, a 4th poffin, lost vac or enhanced hammer for my deck cuz I have a slot in my deck for one of those four (rn im playing roseanne which saved me in one game)
These are awesome suggestions. Thanks
@@ilovepuyopuy0 Goldeen has save my bacon many times in the early game. I am a believer.
You must have 4 poffin. I have them and e.hammer and 1 Rose, but no vac.
@@dannik9932 after playing a bunch of festival, most of the time i was able to set up without 4 poffin cuz i play 3 arven, 4 bug catching and 3 ultra ball alongside it. heres my decklist without 4th poffin if there is any suggestions you would like to make

@@ilovepuyopuy0that's a really good list. The only thing I would really get rid of is that professor's research. Every time I used that card I ended up regretting what I had to throw away because it cost me to use resources / boom boom grooves just to get them back instead of focusing on the attack.
I think Cynthia or Marty or some other supporter to draw cards without trashing is better. That last buddy buddy could help too. I play 4 cuz I want them in the first or second turn, but as you said Arven helps out.
Granted, research gives good setup consistency, but I paid the price for it in like three or four games, so I nixed it.
Your car is so good, so it's really up to preference.
I'm running it with Skeledirge EX and was using hyper aroma cause I thought Maximum belt wouldn't hit any special numbers but I forgot about Kieran. With All 3 you can hit 240 twice on EXs which can decimate Raging Bolt EX, gonna give it a try now!
I've seen that version with Hyper Aroma. It is more consistent.
Metal Skeledirge?
@@dsmoosecountry Yeap! It isn't too hard to search out thanks to Grookey and I add in a Mela in case I need to attack with it. Not optimized yet but definitely a fun deck.
@@jaded_da_bladedlist please
That’s why you run a 2/2 rellor line.
Probably a rhetorical question but after NAIC and VSing it 1st hand, I can tell you. Well technically it wasn't pure festival but a mix of ogerpons, sinistcha ex, and some festival cards. Make of that what you will. Despite having type disadvantage, it looked difficult to set up. Maybe if they could fit thwackey, their consistency would be better. If it weren't for the bigger bodies I mentioned, then the entire deck would be glass cannons. Even ancient box has the potential to survive one hit.
Thank you for that awesome insight and for sharing your firsthand experience.
@@PopsicleKnight welcome. I also have some experience with using the deck but I wasn't sure how to put it in my initial comment. I have done the pure build and most of what I said still applies. Thwackey being a soft once per turn searcher is definitely a great advantage but it shares the same problems as dipplin and then some. Another problem I didn't mention with the deck was that cornerstone ogerpon stops it dead in its tracks. The saving grace for that would be rillaboom but if you only have one copy and it's prized, you're done for.
Cute and destructive 😂😂😂 this is brutal
I play the new pinsir as a tech card to get rid of problem pokemon as it can kill anything in the game for just 2 energy (as long as they don't switch 😂)
If that fails my backup is bloodmoon ursaluna
Dipplin be like Rapid strike Jumpluff but buffed
9:48 Ore no na wa DONQUIXOTE DOFLAMINGO . Just chill hahaha
🤣
Maximum Belt is great, but I’ve found Hyper Aroma to be way more useful. I only use Maximum Belt against ex decks, whereas I use Hyper Aroma almost every game on T2 to achieve an instant full setup and then I’m off to the races. It’s an INCREDIBLE consistency booster in conjunction with Arven.
Thanks for the tip
Run 1 Arezu. You only need thwackey for full set-up and you open the ace spec for a better one like stamp, belt or even catcher
I like that Hyper Aroma is searchable via Arven, which can also grab a tool. I also run one copy of TM Evolution because of Arven and the double whammy means that I can always set up on T2 so long as I got basics in play on T1. Any tips for consistently flooding the field with basics on T1? I already run 4 Poffin and 4 Bug Catcher but I still don’t see them in my opening hand as often as I’d like
@@petergabbert3192
Run 3-4 nest, i also run 3 UB.
I know arven can search aroma, but aroma is not necessary at all as the thwackey chain does the same thing with just an ub.
It’s a good deck as long as you can get set up
True, there are a few cases that you lose when you get a really bad opening hand.
Haven't seen it yet... add a crisis punch in there and get that 280 damage off twice in a row.
This will not work. I explained the special ruling in the video as well.
11:11 should've put Applin onto that bech instead of Grookey.
Dang 2120 credits i would need to make this, sadge im gonna have to wait.
You can earn the credits in the prize ladder. Although it's quite a grind, as is always the case...
yeah that first person made multiple fatal decisions. like...
If you use kieran and maximum belt you can knock out two charizards ex in one turn 😎
You're right 🤩
Isn't there any way to add up more power to driplin's attack?
I'm thinking if you can inflict special conditions, you can add extra damage, but not by the attack alone.
@@PopsicleKnight the deck can't inflict special conditions due to needing festival grounds which prevents conditions .
Do the wave = 200
Vitality + do the wave = 110 * 2 = 220 (pao, giratina v, raikou v, cramorant, miraidon ex, charmed snorlax, ogerpon, etc.)
Kieran + do the wave = 260 (hands, thorns, stage 1 exs, entei v, raikou v)
Kieran + do the wave + vitality = 280 (lugia, pidgeot, tina vstar, arceus vstar)
Kieran + do the wave + defiance band = 320 (dragapult, garde ex, luxray ex)
Kieran + do the wave + max belt = 360 (palafin ex, caped ex basics)
Why would anyone need more power than that? It hits every number it needs. Only debate is the belt vs another ace spec, but there are still ways to hit 320
Because Cornerstone Mask Ogrepon ex exists and Flutter Mane
True. Counter them back with Canceling Cologne.
@@PopsicleKnight or rillaboom if you're brave. I'm not sure what I should be getting rid of in my deck anyways.
How do you counter Froslass?
😬 I don't know
@@PopsicleKnight I’ve been testing this deck and I don’t understand the way you draw these hands 😅 I either will get a single basic and all evolutions or just Dragapulted into hell.
Why cologne over rillaboom? Rillaboom serves the same purpose but is easier to grab and can be a good backup attacker just in case.
Also this deck is so underrated and got me sooo many wins no idea why no ones playing it
See what you are saying. Hit them for 60 first time. They can’t knock you out and finish them afterwards. Will replace cologne with it.
I thought about adding Rillaboom, but the second attack is not workable since it requires a lot of evergy. And it's first attack doesn't do much damage to make a difference.
Rillaboom shuts the engine down. You can't search while it is on the active
Hey, dont tell people about this! I have been playing my own variant since TWM came out and have been slaughtering the meta and cleaning up at local torunaments. Dont give the power of the orchard to the public! 😢
😅
Ancient box can counter this box , since ancient box runs 4 pokestops
I don't fully agree, cause the mons in ancient box are either weak to dipplin's attack (like moon) or they don't have enough HP (like flutter mane). So if you're carefull you'll have a new dipplin ready to go every new turn and you can just bump the pokéstop with your stadium through boom boom groove.
And even if all your stadium cards are gone, I play at least 1 roseanne's backup so I can get a stadium back.
I think that dipplin should easily be able to win.
Roaring Moon is weak against grass. However, if they utilize Flutter Mane strategically, they actually have a good chance of winning against this build, especially if you cannot use your ability.
@@PopsicleKnight Yeah, but when flutter mane dies from the first 100 damage, wouldn't dipplin's 2nd attack still go through? Cause it is knocked out and no longer in the active spot 🤔
Pokestop has nothing to do with the MU, trying to outrun the stadium count is a poor strategy vs festival. They always have one and can recycle them at will.
If festival runs stamp + eri (which they should), the mu is free as long as you can set-up, but lost box is so slow, you will pull through. Not even sableye is a threat dueto 2-2 rabsca i have seen people play commonly
