Sweet Interview! There’s just one differing opinion I have: Trusting that true love is possible isn’t believing there’s a perfect person out there and no work will be required. It’s believing that knowing what you need as you know yourself deeper creates a space that only an equally yoked person can match. You can “make it work” with almost anyone who’s willing to make it work with you. That standard is not high enough for me. I’m working on being my best self and my partner has to complement that. We’re so very unique and multi-faceted that it’s almost more unrealistic to think you’ll be able to make it work with many ppl than to think there is a partner that God created with you in mind. Just my thoughts😊

No one is perfect. I agree that one needs to be with someone with whom they can learn, grow and invest in each other to grow, and be better versions rather than fixing one another. It's important to "make it work", and this is from both people involved in a relationship. If one person thinks this way, however, and another person has opposite views, such as open relationships, my way or highway, controlling behaviour, or narcissist behaviour traits, none of it works!! Many Indian men want women for house chores, taking care of kids, inlaws and having sex. So if women want to work and make a career, the immediate response is to be at home and care for kids instead of thinking of options for making it work!
Marriage, parenting and managing old parents/inlaws is not an easy thing, and if they are terminally ill or mentally unfit to lead a normal life, then many families do not know how to address it.
Most times when women give more than 100% each time and if once or a few times its less than 100%, then it's just not accepted; this needs to be taught to each and every family member to support and take their duties and responsibilities towards the home they live in, seriously!!

I think there’s a big gap between believing any two ppl willing to make it work are a match to being the ultimate one..
