IKEA has this shoe holder that’s is just wide enuf for shoes. I wud love to see the top shoe cubbies converted to hold like keys, phone, gloves etc and the cubbies underneath to hold shoes. Dainty Diaries made over one that she uses for her smaller entry - nice color but it wud be great to convert some of those cubbies to hold some other items.
Don’t know if u know about this or not....liquid sandpaper wud also save u a lot of time on those finishes. It’s so wonderful and can get into those crevices that are hard to work.
I prefer mid-century modern and was thinking of hacking a small 4 square Kallax unit. The one I have is black and was thinking of changing it to white/brown.. I will donate it to you to hack.. LOL

I love how you transformed something basic to something so beautiful without leaving your bedroom, lol. I also love how you donated the nightstand. There was a point in my life that I was homeless and living in a tent with my 2 kids, 2 dogs and 2 cats after my ex-husband walked out of a 16yr marriage. Someone showed me and my kids the same kindness and we have never forgotten it. It took 4yrs but I was able to finish school and provide for my kids. I also met my soulmate and have never been happier but it all started with someone giving my kids and I a tent and a few supplies. God is amazing and will have a special place in heaven for you because those items you donate gives them hope.

I bought this same dresser from IKEA a few years ago in white. I immediately changed out the knobs with the same crystal ones you used. Gives it a touch of glamour. My son was able to reuse the original knobs on his grey bedside drawer chests.

I always paint furniture "in place". I do usually empty it but I love your press and seal hack even more!!! Game changer! I usually put shims under the legs so I can kinda kick them under when lifting the furniture slightly. I'm old and can use all the advantages I can get! LOL. 😉 Your dresser is lovely. I'm the gal that's been so inspired by you that I'm going to be making a Vardo to sell my crafts out of on my front lawn. My hubby is helping with the frame but the rest is up to me. Boy- oh -boy do I have imagination for this project! We're starting with 2 tires and an axle. Up from there we will go. I'll be learning how to use lots of power tools too!

The dresser is beautiful it looks so elegant. I love how you use power tools and explain how easy it is to use them. I love the knobs and detail with the trim on the drawers and ends. I'll have to remember that I don't have to move my dresser when I paint it and just get some wrap to protect my clothes. Love the pot with the French wording.
