keep up the great work for real much respect and love from your boy buddha out of Waco Texas W.M.H
sorry to be off topic but does any of you know of a tool to log back into an instagram account..?
I somehow forgot the password. I love any assistance you can offer me!
@Genesis Paxton Instablaster :)
@Caspian Eliseo i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and im waiting for the hacking stuff now.
Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Caspian Eliseo It worked and I finally got access to my account again. Im so happy!
Thanks so much, you saved my ass :D
Finally someone doing the work without telling me their husband did the cutting their husband did this their husband did that. I am a widow I don’t have a husband and I’m always discouraged when I see a project and some of the steps are done by the husband. Thank you so much. I have never made a comment on any you to pieces but you inspired me and gave me hope
Oh DeeDee. I'm so sorry for the loss of your husband. I do rely on mine a lot for help with the power tools, but I'm trying to get him to teach me so I can teach you. I have a lot of single mamas in my life, so I never want anyone to feel they need a husband to do my projects. Thank you for watching. ❤️
I am so sorry for your loss if you want another youtuber who does cutting herself you should watch living to diy with rachel metz
I suggest you watch April Wilkinson in Texas or DIY Montreal. These female you tubers are awesome. Oops almost forgot, there is also Mary at White Cottage Company in Ohio.
I've never had a husband, you can do it without one for sure
I have a husband and I can’t trust him to screw in a lightbulb! I watched videos, bought all sorts of power tools and picked a bunch of little projects like boxes, planters...etc. I messed up ALOT but learned in the process. Just do it and have fun!
I have to confess I never understood the shabby craze. 🤷♀️ The table looks wonderful now👍🏻!
😊 thank you
Bonnie Steinke 🤷♀️👍👍that’s Modern in Germany only Now!I still love it needs jest some new Paint!like a Nice glowing Light Soft Orange or something light Green Paint!Something fresh like Sunnshine!
You’re not the only one! 😂
The shabby looks like the worn-out furniture I added the kid
@@debretaevans8049 right lol. I also can't stand farmhouse... Like wtf that all looks like country bumpkin shizz a bit too much to me for my liking. I'm personally more into a glam, light blush dusty rose, black, grey & white color scheme.
I've recently realised I prefer chic to shabby so this kind of spoke to my heart lol. well done
Great tip about putting finish on paper plate instead of dipping into the jar, lots of good tips here-thanks!
Yeah - out with the shabby and in with the chic!!!
The nightstand looks so beautiful! I love how you explain every detail from start to finish!!! 😍
I can't wait . this is the look that I am loving now
Awesome. I hope you like it.
This turned out so good!! I usually raise an eyebrow at the word modern, but I absolutely love this transformation. You are so inspiring, Christina!😊
Yep, I'm not sure modern is the right word for it. Maybe just "clean" . I'm still a shabby girl, but like to mix it up. My daughter's room is where I love to play! Thanks for watching.
Omg ! What a great transformation ! It looks absolutely beautiful & so modern ! I love the gold hair pin legs on it !
I’m rewatching this video! Loved the results!
Yay! Thank you!
I would’ve never thought to do that. It looks awesome.
Wow…great transformation!
OK those outtakes are adorable
Soooo cute!
Great Job!! Yes, sand, sand, sand between each coat!! Well Done.
Love the gold hardware.
I love your work. I have similar nightstands like this which were in my son's room. He's all grown up now and flew from the nest last weekend. I want to take those nightstands and do just this to them. I kept thinking about how I could remove that bottom piece and whalaaa, I ran across your video. You're so amazing!
Truly amazing! What an inspiration!
Wow, great job! You have such patience sanding in between every coat. Love the look!
Turned out great!
Love this
I love the way it came out. It's amazing how different it looks
Thank you! 😊
Love your confidence in
" tackling" the nightstand.
You really know the products you use well,
and it shows. What a beautiful outcome. Looks very " high end".
Thank you so much!
Yes,! Lots of work but I came out so well! Love your videos
Love, love, love this project. Great transformation
Thanks so much! 😊
Love how it turned out!
Thank you!
Awesome!!
I love the new look. Thanks for all the tutorials 🤗
Beautiful 💛
It’s gorgeous!!
This video inspired me to refinish a dresser I got on market place. Finally found one that fit in our room but it was dated. My husband cut off the bottom like you did and we ordered some decorative wooden legs 🦵 and it turned out beautifully. I did another piece and gave it a more modern leg and its amazing how paint and new legs can update your furniture. Thank you very much.
You are darling and so is that night stand. Happy painting.
Thank you!
This is too cute!
I really liked the second version. I’m not much into shabby sheik unless it’s a lake cottage or something. The feet are great.
This came out so well! It’s always great to be able to make over something you already have. 🌈🌈
So true!
I love the way how you transform the nightstand, I’ll try in my dresser...
I like this makeover!
So cute! God bless you Christina!
Thanks!
The transformation was awesome
I only use clear coat in matte also, it's what I would want in my house so... Great turn around piece.
Beautiful!
It looks like a completely different product - craziness! Job well done
Super love this look right now! Transitioning from shabby distressed to clean & light.
Love that! And thank you for the superchat. It was my first one ever! I was so excited.❤️
Super nice and lovely!
Beautiful love ittttt👌👏🏼
I just finished my second project-a 25 year-old oak colored dresser which was meant for a baby/young child’s room (one of the 2 dressers you can attach a changing table to). Anyway, we separated the 2 dressers-one we keep in our daughter’s bedroom (for when she visits) and the second one in the guest bedroom. I painted the one in our daughter’s room “Fluff” by Dixie Belle but primed it first with Slick Stick. I wish I would have watched this video first to know that sanding between primers is okay to do. I applied 2 layers of primer and 3 layers of Fluff, only sanding between paint layers. When I tackle the next dresser, I’ll definitely sane between primer layers! Thank you! (And I love your ‘I just want to drink coffee and paint furniture’ tee-shirt!)
Great job with the sawing! It looks gorgeous!
This is such a great idea! Love the modern look and you do great and explaining exactly how you achieve your finish piece! 🥰
Thank you so much! That is always my goal. I'm glad it comes across clearly.
It turned out beautiful! Your excitement after you cut the bottom was the best!
Thanks so much! 😊
I had to watch this video twice. First time just to see what you were going to create and the second time to see how you got your decorative trim off.... and then I went and got the decorative trim off of a piece I was redoing!! So thanks Christina!!
I ❤️ this !!!
The transformation on this piece is very inspiring!
Thank you!
what an adorable dog you have!!!

Love the outtakes at the end. You crack me up!!!
Thanks so much!! The outakes ar my favorite. I get sad when nothing funny happens while I'm filming.
It shows that it was a transformation made with a lot of love. Thanks for share 💖

You are so welcome!
Great job Christina. You are my inspiration👍
Thank you so much!
So gorgeous! Not a fan of shabby chic so this is right up my alley... 👍❤️
I think it is totally worth the energy you put into the nightstand; you’re saving something from landfill and giving it new life to be enjoyed for years to come
Thanks.
Amazing transformation!
Thanks!
I love your channel and all of these great tips, thank you!!
You inspired me to try this. I got my piece and cut off the bottom skirt. I have just added the new base and am prepping for the new hairpin legs. Thanks for the inspiration!!

Omg thank you so much! I have 2 old nights stands that are very similar in style. I wanted to modernize it. I was worried that I will not be able to do anything with it! Now that you gave me inspiration I feel like there light at the end of the tunnel 😂
