Like remember the last chapters of the OG seven deadly sins? The part when Arthur swallowed Cath? Maybe because of that he somehow gained some evil malicious intent while devouring Cath. To be honest this was an interesting discussion but it does give me to wonder what will happen to him in the afterlife?
I doubt he would go to heaven for all the things he had done but with his brother join him or were they always stay separate from each other from heaven and hell?
The fact that Upper Moon 1, the strongest demon other than Muzan himself, used to be a demon slayer will always amaze me. Kokushibo is easily one of my favorite characters in the series

The worst part about this whole story is Kokushiboâs pride. If he decided to accept that his brother had more talent and train with him to become stronger, they could have easily defeated muzan together. But his pride and selfishness caused so much more unnecessary suffering and destruction. Thatâs why I enjoy demon slayer so much, We can learn life lessons.
Every decision we make will directly affect others in the present and indirectly affect countless people in the future. Always choose good, because equally that decision ultimately may come back to build or destroy you.
It's hard not too especially since people around you are willing to throw you away for something better like his family did.

Only Yoriichi himself could have defeated Muzan easily as well. But he did only one mistake. He gave Muzan enough time to think about how to escape.
@@stanleyc2978 I'm not saying he isn't it's just easy to see how one can get jealous when the gap is so wide especially when you have dreams of being the strongest. Plus as soon as they found out he had talent they did toss Michikatsu aside and when Yorichii disappeared they defaulted back to him or how they were helpless against a demon and Yoriichi defeated it in less than a second. In short he was never good enough and that's a terrible pill to swallow.

I just realized...The Yoriichi practice doll has six arms, while Kokushibou has six eyes. This means Yoriichi is so strong that people had to make six-armed robot to closely simulate his skills, while his demon brother can't even up with him even with six eyes. Damn

i wish kokushibo was able to see tanjiro use sun breathing, a breath style that even he couldn't use, would've been really cool to see.
I think he wouldâve lost it and killed tanjirou. Letâs be real a healthy tanjiro ainât doing anything to kokushibo let alone an injured one. If he realized there was someone of the current era that did master sun breathing I think his jealousy would make him go after tanjiro. Thatâs probably why the Author didnât make it happen

It's ironic how Michikatsu wanted to be like Yoriichi because of his talent, but Yoriichi didn't WANT to be a demon slayer. The family he abandoned and the life he could have had with them, THAT's what Yoriichi truly wanted. They clearly never talked about that stuff, because if they did I'm certain Yoriichi convinces him to go back.
I highly doubt that. He was extremely jealous and deeply despised yoriichi for the simplest reasons. Yoriichi just wanted peace, love, and happiness like the brother had but was not happy with. Then yoriichi loses his family and joins a place for the essentially lonely and family less, and kokoshibo leaves his family behind just bcuz he was jealous that no matter what, his brother somehow made lemonade outta rotten decaying lemons, and kokoshibo could never do that.

We always desire what we can never have. In the end neither got what they wanted and what they had wasn't good enough. HOWEVER, if Yoriichi never saved Mitchikatsu and he did survive that demon attack then he wouldn't have abandoned his family in another desperate attempt to seek for power. If anything the curse of twins still followed through, one was destined for success while the other was doomed to fail. The burn of inferiority ran deep in Mitchikatsu, he was never gonna be happy.

@@SebastianDeVera I don't think it's a "coincidence" I believe Tanjiro joined the Demon Slayer Corps so he could not only kill demons but defend nezuko's life and turn her back to a human. As for yoriichi I think he joined because he had no choice to become a demon slayer also I see a similarities in tanjiro and yoriichi they joined to protect humanity(also those who cannot protect themselves/demons like nezuko). - No, because the first time I saw was that Akaza trying to kill injured Tanjiro first before he even ask or talk which show that he's just like other demon' behavior. Go back to rewatch the Mugen train again and compared with Kokushibo's case.
- Unlike Kokushibo's scenario, he talk calmly and ask many things from Muichiro until he (Muichiro) trying to kill him first which lead Kokushibo into unsheathing his sword.
Whatâs funny, but also kind of tragic, is that Kokushibo never became the best at something. He was (or at least arguably was), the second strongest demon slayer ever, and then on the opposite side, he was the second stronger demon ever

Uppermoon 1's character design, parallels with his brother, backstory and character conclusion are all top tier. Easily the best demon slayer character in my opinion.

even though kokushibo hated and was jealous of his brother yoriichi deep down he truly cared about and loved him which is why he kept his brothers flute showing that even his younger brother will always be with him, just like yoriichi thought of when he had the flute and thought his older brother will always be with him

Yoriichi's takes place at some point during the battle against Muzan. Or was it earlier? I did read the manga once after watching season 1. I may have to read again. đ€·đŸââïž

@@neelusharma1596 Uh, Viz Manga. In order to read it, I have to pay a subscription. But I'll warn you. It charges me around 2 dollars and it only allows reading up to 100 chapters a day. Though, I do wish they allow for other mangas to be read online on their app, instead of giving the option to only buy a volume. I really don't search for other sites to read it. :/

Damn couldnât help reminded that Kokushibo and Vergil are both are so similar, they want to surpass there younger twin both becomes monsters for power but the only differences is their outcome Vergil reconcil with his brother Dante and left a legacy in the form his son Nero that he can be proud however Kokushibo didnât have he was never able to reconciled with Yorrichi and he cut down his descendant Muichiro and in the end he had nothing.

Kokushibo is a distraught broken man who feared his own demise and was deeply jealous of his brother, heâs my most favorite upper moon because his story shows how a monster is born
Kokushibou's Breath Style is another video, his moves are almost endless and with such a versatile range. Definitely 2nd to Muzan in terms of difficulty.
I canât tell you how much I love demon slayer, the story and the characters are written so good in my opinion, the character depth is awe inspiring, I just love it so much and thank you for making awesome vids about one of my favorite series.

Damn hatred and jealously transformed the samurai Michikatsu into the monstrous Kokushibo. Kokushibo and Akaza will always be my favourite demons of all time. Both have such a sad story except everything that michikatsu did he did of his own free will as he still had his human memories. All those humans he killed, his jealousy towards his brother, betraying the demon slayers, killing his own descendant that was not Muzan that was all Michikatsu's choice. Its really sad imo Michikatsu tried so hard and desperately to find meaning for his existence but down the wrong path, his negative emotions transformed him into a monster

Honestly in his original look he looks very dignified and majestic. Even Muichiro agreed.
Itâs ironic he became a demon because he was 2nd to his brother. Than becomes a demon and becomes 2nd to his brother main enemy. His death shows how he took so many measures to try and surpass his brother but died as #2.
Kokushibou's true power level is kind of obscured, let me explain that one. He was so OP that even fighting with a handicap, he still nearly won against 3 Hashiras and Genya, who used his own demon powers against him.
I believe that if he went all out, he would win against Muzan 1 on 1.
Demon Slayer is a lot like Dark Souls, the protagonist faces this Legendary figures from the past, beings that would make the strongest men in the world shit themselves when push came to shove, but they never fight on their prime, they are always weakened somehow.
They handicapped themselves; Kokushibou fights like a human samurai; Akaza doesn't kill woman; Gyutarou drops everything to help his sister even though she isn't really in any real danger.
Or they are weaker in the proper fight happens; Douma and Muzan were both so heavily poisoned that they were struggling to fight against mid-level oponents, oponents that they could easily dispatch with their full power.

All he ever wanted was to become the strongest. Strong just like his brother who ironically was not proud of his own strength. Of course, he chose the dark path and became an ugly monster. Jealousy is an awful thing but in all honesty it couldn't be helped, I mean how can you not be jealous? Kokushibo's entire life has been shown that he wasn't good enough: from the training, to their mother, their status, and ability to fight demons. He just was never good enough and it's not just internal its also external, look at how they immediately they wanted Yoriichi to be head of the house and went back to Kokushibo once Yoriichi disappeared by default.

He is the Best Villian in the Demon Slayer Series. I chose Akaza to be second place because He is a Broken Villian. Kokushibo's whole Character even in the flashback that answers a lot of Lore really give in to what a Person would go to achieve his dream the way that goes whatever it takes to get there.

The demons who choose to become demons are actually sent to hell but the demons who were forced to become demons or didn't accepted were sent to heaven like daki, she was innocent and never accepted to become a demon so she got a chance to go to heaven but she chose hell for her brother.
I think all demons go to hell because they still killed innocent people.

Yoriichi was content what he has even at a young age no jealosy he was happy what he got to the point that a flute that his brother gave to him was his most precious treasure for him. He had a rough life but he never ever hurt anybody

I wonder what would happen to Kokushiboâs mental state if got stomped once again by let us say a Master Witcher from the Witcher series, that lore-wise a Witcher of that rank, was capable of rivalling a Upper Moon 1. Because Kokushibo lost because he saw the error of heâs ways and to keep on living under Muzanâs leash would only add to his already broken morality, and not because of heâs Humanity. I believe unlike in canon he would die boiling with rage and regret. Cause not only did he sold his Humanity to eventually never surpassed his Brother, but got squashed like a bug once again, and without heâs killer dying from old age this time around. Like faith pulling the literally middle finger on him as a final fuck you for failing at life. đ€

Kokushibo six eyes are like a grotesque version of the Byakugan from the Naruto series. Instead of having eyes that give you a 360 degrees view, he had eyes all crossed the face and weaponry to give him that edge. đ
