I understand that Akaza killed Rengoku but I still think he's one of the most tragic characters in the series. I just want to know if Tanjiro could smell the scent Akaza gave off when he decided to die and go in peace with his fiance. I know he could sense it with the hand demon and the spider mother demon. But it was never clarified in the manga.
In the manga, it was stated that Tanjiro smelled gratitude from Akaza, when he attacked himself for the first time....
I think tanjiro new that Akaza wanted to die but he didn’t really care cause you know he killed his master lol
Nezuko seems like someone who would also master sun breathing if given the time and circumstances. I mean, she and Tanjiro seem to be parallel in abilities enough for Muzon to notice. Yes, they are siblings, but also I am unsure if any of their other family members would have had the same potential, either. They never got the chance, obviously, but I feel Tanjiro and Nezuko were still stand outs.

The fact that this man tanjiro became a demon Slayer at the age of 15 and became a Hashira level swordsman or even more stronger at the mere age of 16 in such a short span of time gives me chills. He was literally laying on the ground in mugen train arc but just in few months he trained so hard that he had the strength and the will to fight and decapitate akaza as well as fight solo for a short period of time against muzan.

If you let tanjiro fight a demon whose on par with the strenght with the demon tanjiro defeated, that demon will don't have a chance to defeat tanjiro.

Ima have to disagree. It has been stated multiple times that in order to kill a demon they must be beheaded or thrust into sunlight. Since the power of red blades came from the sun I dont believe yorichi had any chance of killing tanjiro.

I really enjoyed both this video and how the mangaka handled power-as something gained by and only used to overcome hurdles. As for Tanjiro and Yoriichi, I can't help but think it would be like the Izuku vs. Tanjiro meme where they would just be hugging each other and crying...okay, Tanjiro hugging Yoriichi who would probably just freeze.
I wanted to point out something I only noticed after watching this, I believe there's a statement from Giyu about how Tanjiro is a wild rabid beast, I think it would have been really interesting to see what Tanjiro would have fought like if he had conscious control of himself in the 'Demon King' form.

And he made this Breathing Style back when he was still a human back in the Sengoku Period.

Because unlike power scaling depending like on One punch man, Dragon ball, and Bleach. In Demon Slayer Team wirk is neccessary to defeat the enemies there are cases of One on One though. But those 1v1 fight are self explainatory. My point is whatever there powelevel be are based in not what tgey are capable of rather than what they have accomplished. Like Tanjiro his growth of Awakening and Surpassing his limits are always happening in every battles of an Arc. That is why Tanjiro's achievements are what they make the Power scaling levels in demon slayer.

When Tanjiro was turned into a Demon his limbs regenerated so when he was turned back into a human he should have kept his arm and eye well thats what I think
He got them when he was a demon , his human form had one eye and arm , that is why it's look like that now

If this demon king Tanjiro would’ve composed himself, and became civilized, but with muzan’s personality. He wouldve been absolutely busted, if he found a sword, and made demon reinforced breathing styles he would’ve been above yorichi

When the mangaka said demon slayer will have a sad ending, I honestly think it’s impossible it’s just tanjiro will have his consciousness back and refuses to kill them and after that he’s probably going away after saying his farewell to his sister after being relieved that he has achieved his goal of making her human again and then spend his time alone while simultaneously fighting muzan’s will. No one will probably believe me when I say this, but before I watched this video, or read the manga, I joked to myself saying; "Haha imagine if Tanjiro combines all of his Hinokami Kagura moves to make an extremely over powered one, that'd be so dope...but I doubt, what would that even look like?" I still think Tanjiro hadn’t even reached his full potential. After finding out how to perform all the sun breathing forms correctly, with more time, he could have mastered the technique. He had only recently discovered the see thru world, selfless state and how to complete all 12 forms. Obviously there’s no need for demon slayers anymore, but had there been, he would’ve only gotten better in my opinion
well, being clear, he didn't fought with his 100 % in the final fight. he literally did all that shit, with half of his cells destroyed and semi dead. he conquered and used everything. the three maximum skills what only gyomei was able to do too. he also conquered the most rare extension of the most rare skill of that world, the erasure of spirit from the transparent world. only 5 people in 400 y awakened completely the see through world, and only 3 OF THEM, achieve the erasure of spirit: yoriichi, tanjiro and tanjiro's dad. this boy was never normal, but he couldn't use this skills at full potential, since the state his body was in the fight.

Regarding the issue that Muzan should be stronger because since the fight with Yoriichi he should have gotten stronger because of human consumption in the past centuries: I think that he was severely weakened after the fight with Yoriichi. The wounds Yoriichi inflicted on him were burning in his flesh even after centuries passing since the fight. So he must convert some strength to regenerate the wounds constantly to look like before. These wounds were equal to the sun regarding their damage to the cells. Also maybe the fact that Yoriichi cut 1500 of 1800 flesh pieces weakened him too. But that last part is just a speculation on my part.

I don’t actually see an issue with Muzans strength. Not only was he able to battle multiple hashiras and hashira level opponents he did so after they awakened marks and red blades. The only reason he seemed weak was due to being handicapped cuz of 4 drugs. He aged by over thousands of years during the fight was being poisoned by human drugs, drugs to prevent him from using his cell division abilities etc. he beat them like nothing considering all the handicaps they had. He only lost due to being weakened

If Tanjiro stayed demon, it would defeat his principle that he would protect Nezuko in all his life and his efforts for turning Nezuko back to human will be all for naught. It will just contradicts the whole story.

the mistake to my understanding and memory, was that he could use either since in a chapter following the final fight tanjiro says to someone that his vision in the destroyed/regened eye was blurry to the point of being useless and he could barely move the regrown arm which iirc we could even see was shrivelled and looked atrophied, so even though he'd regrown them, he shouldn't have been able to use them
well unless you want to say over time strength returned to them allowing him to use them again but judging by the image in the video not much time would have passed between the final fight/ time in the hospital to the events of the mistake in the manga

I always had a doubt,the sword in yoriichi type zero is really yoriichi's sword or some random sword forged by a talented swordsmith from sengoku era.As the hilts of the sword and yoriichi's are different.(it has a hilt similar to tanjiro first sword and yoriichi swords has a square hilt).
I believe it was yorrichi's as why would the swordsmiths put some random sword they saw yorrich was a great man in their eyes and they made the machine to make people remember his name and techniques

I have this theory which no one seems to think of to the point where I'm the only one who made a video on it and my theory is as follows...... tanjiro is related to yurrichi by being the descendent of his twin brother who is upper moon 1. Hear me out, I've read the manga in it's entirety and i know what tanjiro ancestor refers to yurrichi as, and this can totally be just a head cannon theory just please don't get rude in your discussion. I think all the signs are there for tanjiro to still he the descendent of yurrichi. FIRST, we have the hair color. In demon slayer we see very flamboyant( sound pillar reference) hair colors that are very much so genetic. A good example of this is tanjiro's family. The red hair and red eyes has been a very common trait, but look outside that family and we see yurrichi and his twin brother with the same hair( yeah i know they're twins and it's a cheap point) but we also the rengoku family and how they all have the same hair. Two, we know that the different breath styles were made to accommodate the different body types and the fact that people body just couldn't keep up or perform sub breathing and we see that breath styles( like genetics and body types) are passed down through families, we see this in both the rengoku family and in tanjiro's family with the hinokami kagura dance. Three, we know that upper moon 1 had two kids and a wife that he abandoned before becoming a demon. He abandoned them to hone his sword skills with yurrichi who was physically identical to him but was mentally on a different level. It is confirmed that upper moon 1 has living descendents in his fight with the mist pillar and when seeing the mist pillar it is shown that he has the same demon slayer mark as his brother despite never being able to use sun breathing which leans towards the theory that not only is your breath style more so genetic, but so is the demon slayer mark you awaken. Four, years had passed after yurrichi fought muzan and after he and his brother became demon slayers that he finally met tanjiro's confirmed ancestor. We don't know how many years passed but we can say with reasonable certainty that a young child abandoned by their dad would not know what their dad or their dad's identical twin looks like years or even a decade later when they run into them by random circumstances. I think the fact that the hair color, the demon slayer mark, the confirmed ancestry, and the breath being able to be used by tanjiro's family all but confirms the fact that tanjiro's ancestor sumiyoshi is the abandoned child of upper moon 1 who just so happened to be saved by yurrichi and that because the two knew nothing of their familial bond, they just became friends. Mind you yurrichi tried to teach a countless number of swordsmen the first breath style and they couldn't do it. Wouldn't it just make sense that the one person who successfully learned it just from watching was biologically born with the predisposition to do so?
We see that tanjiros ancestor is close with yorichi because yorichi saved him. I doubt that upper moon one didn’t have kids young enough for tanjiros ancestor to grow up and have kids while we see yorichi is still fairly young. The best I could do is say that yorichi knew that tanjiros ancestor was the kid of his brother so he watched over them. I doubt that though because we see the upper moon one knew that other pillar who I can’t remember the name of is a descendent his. So i feel the author would have no problem making it more obvious that tanjiro was his descendent too.

Upper moon 1 had kids before he was even 20, and remember his big fear and reason he became a demon was because he didn't know a single soul with the demon slayer mark who lived past 25, so Yurrichi in the muzan flash back has to be between 19-21 and and getting fairly close to the age of 25 or else his brother would have already turned.upper moon 1 became very fearful of 25 because it meant death to him .When yuriichi met with tanjiro ancestor i would say he's fairly close to tanjiro's age which is about 16 or 17. We saw Yurrichi had a pregnant wife before he was even 18 . When Yurrichi met tanjiro's ancestor only 12-18 years would need to pass for sumiyoshi to be at that age we seem at and that would put yuriichi at like 31-39 which i think he could easily have been. The second thing is tanjiro didn't fight upper moon 1,so upper moon 1 wouldn't see tanjiro body to know that he is a descendent of his like he was able to do with the mist pillar. Lastly i know it'll never be confirmed canon but i like it as head canon.

Although this is a series that could’ve went on longer, I’m glad they ended it when they did. I couldn’t stomach a Demon Slayer series running for like, 10 seasons. I definitely loved the breathing style swordsmen concept and I would like to see more of it through fan-made content and video games.

6:44 OHHH so nezuko kicked tanjiro and not,tanjiro doing a back flip to go after hantengu,that makes more sense,because why would tanjiro make a situation where nezuko gets killed
