- Its important for birds of prey to fulfill their instinctual need to hunt, kill and eat their prey. In the wild these birds do this on a very regular basis. To prepare Carol for the hunting season we build up her confidence by allowing her to kill and eat a live at. This rat was purchased from a feeder supply store and was not intended to be a pet. In this video we stage a mock hunt and release this live rat to see if Carol will instinctively kill the rat or just let it run free.

So, I work at an ulta beauty in California. So I great way to wear lashes is by squeezing them at the base closer to your natural lashes so they blend. Then kinda close your eye with your finger under the lashes and gently push them up so they aren’t falling in your eyes or looking like a caterpillar, it should open your eyes and make you look more awake. Hi Des! I watch Maxx’s videos with my boyfriend and I hear you need some tips for lashes.... when you apply the glue make sure to let is sit for about 30 seconds to get tacky. Once it’s tacky I like to apply my lashes looking down into a mirror so you can see them being placed properly on to your lash line. This should hopefully ensure they go on comfortably. Also! Make sure the are not to big for your eyes. You can trim the outside portion of the lash to shorten them and that way they fit to your eye better. (Make sure it’s the outside corner of the lash you trim, not the inside corner). I had to drop a like to see maxx in some lashes... that’d be hilarious 😂 we super enjoy your videos! Keep it up guys 😊

Des needs to buy some Tarte brand falsies! They are very light and you can wear them multiple times. Also get a set of lash tweezers for putting them on. It makes all the difference!

Excuseee me but im part of that demographic and I'm not only a GIRL but a makeup artist. The best and most confortable way to wear them is to try your best to stick them almost directly to your real lashes use tweezers to get them nice and snug and press your false eyelashes to your real ones.

Hi maxx.i love watching your falconry channel.i hate to be a pessimist.i know you love carol and I know its hard to not do the human thing and get attached to an animal,but you might have kinda ruined her already.i would say take your losses,identify what you have done wrong by your inexperience(which is ok you are learning) and let her go and try again.

You can train her better on rabbits with a machine . Bull x pro is a verry good machine. She needs more hunting motivation. This doesnt mean to feed her on the fist, its more about catching the lure makes her motivated. So let her catch it and slowly start pulling the lure faster! Then also ,as you said, dont take the food from her but sit or lay down very close to her . And teach her to sit towards you while eating. I hope my advice are helpfull.😊

Is Des going to carry the S&W 9mm or is it for practice/home defense? I personally own a Sig P229 and like the weight of it. I suggest she gets what fits her hands size wise and what she can control power wise. Balance is the key.

Admittedly I know little about falconry, but shouldn't you be able to take kills from your bird? Aren't they used to take small game, not only for their own feeding but as a hunting tool? Or is that later in her training?
