So about one month ago I decided to tattoo my eyebrows. Before you get too scared, I want you to know now there's a ton of beautiful options out there for semi-permanent makeup. Tattooed eyebrows don't need to be dark, obvious and unnatural. I've never had any sort of tattoo before, but the pain level was more than tolerable. Here are some basics:
Cost: $300 (includes touchup)
Where I went: CC Permanent Makeup in Los Angeles
Duration of session: 75 minutes including consultation
Healing time: 5-7 days
Will last: About 2-3 years with good care

Congrats on the brows! When I was younger my mother got her eye liner tattooed. I think this is pretty popular and not taboo in asian cultures. Most asian women do have something cosmetic tattooed.

I feel like a lot of girls need to know about this because, I am tried of seeing the marker in eyebrows using gel, eye shadow talking about eyebrows on fleek. Looking like 2 rectangles on the face.

Haha i was nervous too! It seemed like such a scary ordeal...eyebrows make such a difference! But I'm happy with how they turned out :)
My mother advised against getting them young due to the skin's tendency to sag as the years wear down on the face.
Kazumii Santos This tattooing only lasts 2-3 years so skin sagging doesn't matter.

You've convinced me to get my eyebrows tattoo. My mother got her eyebrows tattooed years ago and I swear I would never do it because it looked so fake and made her look mean. I love how natural yours turned out :)

I had a friend who got them done in China, it was a little bit of an upscale place, cost her about 2000 CAD but they looked SO great in the end. She originally had REALLY light brows and she didn't like to fill them in but after she got them tattooed, they looked amazing! She did have really dark brows like right after she got them done, and we laughed for a long time about that hahaha, but goes away after like a week or two, like you said.
I ever went to almost get a tattoo but it seems after the numbing cream my skin got more sensitive ouch

They look amazing! I have super sparse brows and I think it's all about the brows if you're not gonna wear eye make up, but I've ways been afraid of looking like those Asian moms if I tattooed them ahaha. They only thing stopping me from doing this is that I like being able to change my brow shape depending on the look I wanna go for. It's definitely something to consider though. Hi! I was wondering if the color has faded for you since? I was told just by someone who recently had theirs done that theirs faded to a light brown/subtle orange color after a month or so.

I got my eyebrow tattoo few yrs back when i visit hk..and its faded already..in thinking to get an touch up..Lol
Ive been meaning to get my eyebrows tattooed~ but my eyebrows are black (i use eyebrow mascara when i go out) while my hair is always somehow coloured. idk if itll be weird to have brown tattooed brows while having black real brows when i have no makeup on lol xD

wow! this is so cool and natural. But this is the first work I've seen that really looks this great. Though I saw people just filling in, like drawing hairs, it still looked grouse. But this one is gorge, girl!
Does that eyebrow tattoo works in scared skin? I have a scar on my brow I've got it when I was five years old and the hairs never grows back. I'm in my twenties now and putting on eyebrow makeup is always a hit and missed situation, it tends to take time putting it and doesn't blend well with my scar and looks like so fake. Thanks.

My mom has them tattooed but she did them in Mexico but they do it better in Mexico then in the US because they use cheaper products or something and doesn't last long the tattooed and in Mexico it lastes years before even getting touche ups but it looks good but it might fade away faster because it the hair technica and it looks really light so yeah
They look amazing! How did you best describe the color you wanted to ensure that they wouldn't fade to the typical green or red color that most Asians have?

A few aunts of mine got theirs tatooed also. Looked great but as they aged, their skin changed and droops from old age and they're stuck w droopy eyebrows.

I recently also got my brows tattooed. the first day I was super embarrassed of my brows that I begged my mom to let me stay home the next day but by the 3rd and 4th day it got way better!! at first I was kinda regretting getting it done but I'm really feeling my brows now 😄 I can't wait till everything is healed
