Just a quick video :) hopefully I'll be doing these once a week!
One of the most common issues I see is snacking...too many temptations to snack, not snacking on the right things etc. Its totally OKAY to snack, just snack on things that will actually make you full and that arent full of empty calories. Snacking healthy also avoids blood sugar pitching and evening grogginess :)
Edamame (immature soybeans) are one of my fave healthy snacks! They're easy to make, inexpensive and can be carried around without refrigeration if you're a busy college student. Theyre also full of protein so theyll help keep you full! Buy frozen ones at a korean or chinese supermarket :) boil in hot water for 3 mins, strain and sprinkle salt on top!

i like to eat mine prepared in a stir-fried & seasoned sort of way:
    1) throw frozen edamame in a pan/pot/etc 2) add some sesame oil OR chili oil, red chili pepper flakes, black pepper, shoyu (soy sauce), onion powder, garlic powder &/or garlic powder 3) mix together for a couple of minutes until edamame is not frozen 4) eat
oil is to coat so seasoning sticks, don't need to use a lot. can add tiny bit of sugar to offset spice.

I agree, my acupuncturist referred me to the hormonal thing too. There's too much GMO in corn and soy products anyway. The occasional edamame is ok but if you're combining it with tofu, vegan burgers, soy sauce including teriyaki, soy milk, soy icecream, etc. it all adds up. Traditional Asians never ate as much soy products as many so called health conscious westerners. I prefer fresh coconuts.
