I love blending bananas with milk or soy milk and adding a little cocoa powder. delicious and not bad for you.
I couldn't agree more to have a snack that'll save you. Protein bars are awesome. We will all have to skip a meal due to crazy schedules and having a rescue snack that'll save you from eating multiple items that'll ruin your day is very important.
I've been making smoothies with chia seeds. SO good. Just strawberries, a banana, chia seeds and greek yogurt, blended. I've been loving it.
May you post updated food/exercise/lifestyle videos? I've recently regained some weight and am looking for some inspiration and tips on what to eat / cook / what to keep clear of. Your grocery haul and weight loss videos were pretty interesting to see what are some foods I can try / avoid. I am interested to see what foods you have rotate in and out. :)
Tati don't feel bad sweetie, my husband has been trying to gain weight literally for years! He is 6'2" & was 140-150 for the longest time & just in the last few months started gaining some weight. It actually is a lot harder to gain "healthy" weight than people think. Good luck with it huney!

My absolute favorite healthy snack are the "Kind" bars! They are all natural and have a handful of ingredients in them and taste wonderful. I love all the flavors!

Fruits are a good snack in moderation since they are filled with sugar and too much will just be stored as fat. Veggies on the other hand - good always! :) As for gaining muscle (I'm working on the same thing) and the key is protein and depending on your activity level, way more than you'd expect. There's a great chart on popsugar to check.

I loved the vegi sandwich i make one with avocado, sweet potato, sprouts, onions, tomatoes, and mayo its amazing!! I also love cliff bars they are packed with protein and when im hungry and at dance i go to that, one fills me up!
I would love to see the foods you eat in a day. I think visual appeal in food is so helpful to spark willingness to try new healthy foods.

Yes please do more healthy food choices etc. I'm working on my diet at over 40 it's just so hard to lose weight. Love snack and smoothie ideas and healthy meals etc.. I enjoy watching your videos. They're very high quality lighting and editing. You're beautiful, and it's not just a pretty beauty...you glow and you can tell you're healthy and happy. :D

i don't consider this a health food but is an alternative to the occasional soda... my bf is a buyer for whole foods and i recently got to try honest fizz, a soda sweetened with stevia. it is the best stevia soda i've ever tasted!

a mix of resistance training and a bit of cardio :) you also need to make sure to eat all the calories you need from healthy, non-processed sources.

I enjoy these videos so please make more! I enjoy eating fruit during the day as a healthy snack too, but be careful because some fruits are bad for blood sugar levels.

Its so funny that my mom went on a HUGE diet and she started buying Zone bars for my brother and then she started eating them and now I eat them. Also, my dad decided to try the freeze dried fruit, same brand! I love both Zone bars- (chocolate cocunut crunch!!!) and the freeze dried asian pears!!

Fruit is high in fibre, so it doesn't spike your blood sugar! The sugar in fruit is absolutely amazing for you, and it will not be stored as fat. :)
I love your food choices! I have been eating healthy since my early 20's and I think it's the reason I feel as good as I do today. Keep up the good work; your face and body will thank you when you hit 50. :-) Love your videos!!! (it's my favorite way to wind down at the end of the day....)

Tips for Gaining Lean(sexy) Muscle- 1)Make sure you are getting sufficient and quality calories with very little fat and HIGH carbs..Try swapping brown rice for quinoa. It is higher in overall protein content than brown rice. A half of cup of quinoa =4g of protein w/ about 2g of fat. 2)GOOD carbs are not your enemy,as long as they are LOW in fat.Fruit is a VERY good resource that particular reason. You can make smoothies after a workout. I am on my own healthy journey too!

You should get Kimberly Snyder's new book 'Beauty Detox Foods'! it comes out on the 26th but I've already tried one of her recipes (raw taco wraps) & it was delicious! I'm really into health food too and love discovering new healthy, but satisfying foods. One of my new favorite things has been making my own fudge brownie lara bars. They're really simple to make you just put dates, cacao, coconut oil, and walnuts in a food processor. If you google 'homemade fudge brownie larabar' theres a recipe

The healthiest snack bars are the PURE PROTEIN, high Protein bars. Only 1 g of sugar, some flavors have 2 g, 20 gr of protein, 5 g fat. Excellent for snacking and keep you full for a few hrs.... Also the Premier Protein shakes are excellent.

If you would like I can trade recipes for smoothies and/or other ones as well. I eat A LOT of raw fruit and vegetables/leafy greens (75% of my food intake). Then the rest is random fish ,beans,seeds and nuts. I hope you are having a wonderful day!

I love healthy snacks and foods videos, especially vegetarian. Being a body builder myself, I have to fid other ways to get my protein than meats though.
