Your video has made me feel sooooo much better!! I'm nearly 24 hours post semi permanent eyebrow tattoo and I've been panicking about how dark they are.. OMG! I was just commenting to my husband this evening that I am considering eyebrow tattoos.
Then, by complete coincidence and totally unrelated, I clicked on your CZcams name when I was looking at the comment section in Nikkie tutorials' latest video. (Something you said caught my eye, and what a wonderful happenstance that was!)
I am completely mesmerized by this video. And I subscribed immediately, BTW. But back to the awesomeness of this particular video… I am so appreciative for the detailed information. I am going to watch this several more times as part of my research. But you have helped me make up my mind. I am for sure doing this.
Mind you, I live in the US, not Ireland. So I will not be able to go to the same aesthetician. Please wish me luck! If My brows can look 10% as awesome as yours do, I will be happy!

The only tip I would give is to research it so so so well, go to the best in the biz, don't let cost sway you one way or the other. It's your FACE after all! Wow! I'm getting my brows tattooed next week, not microblading. Your brows look amazing! Seeing that you could put make up on a few days after wards helped ease my worries as I have a party 2 days after I get them done. The salt water solution is a great idea too. 👍🏻👍🏻

Fantastic "eyebrow diary." Had permanent eyebrow tats 10 years ago which now require something current. Have appt for semi-perm eyebrow tats in one week and your progress from "too dark" to "just right" was very helpful as I've been obsessing about the "too dark" phase. Nice to know you ended up just where you wanted to be. Will have procedure in Florida. Hope it's as perfect as yours.

The powdered tattoo treatment actually suits you really well! Most people look better with the feathering but I think the dark shade of your brows helps compliment that choice :)

Wow this was so so helpful !! its something I have been interested in for so long because of my pathetic excuses for brows haha !! was so interestng to see all the before and afters .. I will say when I seen them first when they were done I was like DEAR GOD NO ... but the finished result is AMAZING !! obsessed... ps... the makeup when you have the grey top on is STUNNING. You need to do more makeup tutorials. I know you don't like doing them but honestly I think you would be great at them :)

I have really light brows. I love dark bold brows with a nice arch. So I just get my brows tinted which is really just getting my brows dyed and waxed for like 30$ and I loveeee it. I love your brows and the shape and everything so I would definitely consider getting them tattooed.

I want to tell you how much I appreciate your video! I got my eyebrows done 3 days ago and I am panicking about how dark they are! They have definitely faded since the first day but I am already experiencing itching. I have noticed the minimal fading already and I just can't wait till they heal. Like you mentioned I also debated long and hard about "should I do this!?"And now I am at the stage "was this a big mistake!?" Your video definitely put me at ease!

yeah I was the same way! One tip: it helps when you do your makeup bc then it just looks like you filled your brows in.. but make sure to avoid the eyebrow area! you dont want any oily makeup near them!

Elissa Zohal orochimaruisabadass Would you ladies care to share an update as to how your brows retained or lost color over the months- any side effects? I'm wondering if they fade evenly or if one is left with splotches; how many months before you started considering having them re- done? I'm close to 60, my blonde brows are so blonde I can barely see them and they're very uneven- one brow is a quarter inch higher than the other- so I've got lots of brow challenges. I didn't even know this was an option it looks so natural I've been looking for something like this for a while to address my almost nonexistant eyebrows.
OMG, your browser are the bomb girl! I am in love with them! I mean, if I could, I would almost want to travel all the way to Ireland to have my brows done by your girl, that's how frigging amazing your browser are! The shape is so perfect, I know that I could never get mine that perfect ever! I've been trying my whole life! And the color looks a bit dark without your makeup on, but with makeup, it looks awesome. Plus it's going to lighten up. Did I mention how gorgeous the color of your eyes are. Your just such a really beautiful girl. My parents are from Scotland, and came to America in 1964 because my father had a really great job offer. He actually could have gone to South Africa, Australia, or America, and he chose America. I sometimes wonder what it would have been like if we had ended up going to Australia instead, and I grew up there. Who knows? Someday, my husband and I would love to bring our twin boys to visit Ireland. Such a beautiful place. Have you ever had the opportunity to visit America?

Looks great! I have thin eyebrows and am thinking about getting this done. I'm glad they lightened up a bit. You seem happier with them. I'd like to skip the process of drawing on eyebrows everyday.

I think they're beautiful! I just had mine done yesterday morning and I'm trying to hide from other humans, they're SOOOOO dark! I started freaking out so I decided to check CZcams videos to see if it's everybody who freaks out also or if it's just me. This made me feel a lot better! :)
Those brows look amazing! They look so good with your eyes...makes them look big and beautiful.. I've seen so many epic fail brow tattoos. I don't know if I would do it, just based on fear alone. If I didn't fear the worst, I would totally have that done.
I totally understand that fear, I had that fear, but I just knew I was in amazing hands, I'd seen LOADS of amazing before and after photos of her work so I had every confidence. I was still scared though! Thanks so much for watching xx

Thanks Karen, OMG yeah directly after the treatment they're huge and black and CRAY-ZAYYYY but Lorna assured me they would fade by about 70%, I was concerned I'd be the one person whose skin wouldn't let go of the pigment though ha ha! x

+MyMakeupPerspective wellllllllll have had them retouched 3 times.. Love love the shape but found out that they were way to cool colour. wise. So just had them redone with a nice warm brow. And now they are SUPER dark! so hoping they will continue to fade....Only day 3 so fingers crossed

Thanks for posting this, had mine done recently and even though I was warned I would hate them initially and that the colour would lighten I am still freaking out a bit! Only on 24 hours after tattooíng so they still look a little bit scary. Thanks for putting my mind at ease and showing what yours went through day after day x
Mix together some lemon juice and baking soda to create a paste and apply it to your brows to lighten them

Same here :( Can't find anyone that can do it here but years ago I bought a eyebrow tattoo pen and colors on eBay with the eyebrow stencils but I guess I wasted money because I'd be afraid to mess up. However I did use the tattoo pen to tattoo a star on my hand and it was quite easy and turned out good but still afraid to do my eyebrows lol
Can you tell us why Lorna recommended saline? I know it is good for healing injured skin, but I have also read that it can lighten or fade the pigment in the same way that antiaging creams and sun exposure can (all of which we were instructed to avoid). I did try the saline after watching your video and noticed reddish/brown color (blood? pigment?) on the cotton pad, and couldn't tell whether that was good or bad! Any input you can share would be extremely helpful! Thank you!

I have seen some brows that have been tattooed on and they look very fake but yours look so much more real, they suit your face shape and your hair colour very well!

Loved this video. I'm on Day 3 of my new brows and am finally used to the shape (brows totally change your face!) but starting to panic about the darkness of them... You have given me hope to be a bit more patient!x

Oh my! As a Permanent Make up Artist myself we have been taught to never use saline on the tattoo. We actually remove tattoos with it. Everyone in our profession knows about Salt Removal Technique. Well, everyone is trained differently. Also mixing unsterilized salts with regular water will cause microbial colonization. That is why they banned salt pills for contact lens user. They were growing bacteria on the lenses and eyes. I must say....your artist is truly wonderful...and I love your brows! But I am a safety freak...I guess :)
Hi there. Just for FYI, the saline removal uses a stronger sodium to water solution. I also do this procedure. Thank you for the info on the contact lenses, I actually but in sterile saline to give to clients now just in case of this problem. :-)
