    Hello everyone!
    Ok, I love being a mummy and I love my little ones but cannot deny that the pregnancies took a toll on my body and confidence.
    I’ve never been shy to show how my saggy tummy as I knew it was just one of the many faces of post pregnancy. I was never ashamed of my body because I was so flipping proud of what it could do so why should I hide it? In fact, it felt so freeing and liberating to share to people around me.
    That’s not to say thatI don’t get bad days. I’ve never been so upset with my saggy belly that I’ve cried or fell into depression but I did realise I would be self conscious in the bedroom. My mentality was, if there was something I can do about it, why not? Still, surgical treatment was never something I took seriously on my radar. I couldn’t afford the recovery time and mentally and physically, I knew I was not strong enough to go through with it. Then my cosmetic surgeon friend asked me if I tried derma rolling on my body.
    I’ve previously heard wonderful results from those who used it on their acne scars and fine lines but never have I pondered with the idea of derma rolling my tummy. It was relatively low cost and at this rate, I figured I’ll have nothing to lose since my tummy was already a lost cause. So I went on a 6 month journey and decided to document the results.
    The results have been positively surprising. I never expected my tummy to go back to it’s former glory but I can do see the subtle changes throughout the months of rolling. I’ve recently progressed on to a 2mm roller. I’m going to keep rolling and we will see how things look in another 6 months time.
    Maybe there is somebody out there just like me so here I am sharing this video.
    Edit:
    I've had some questions asking if my exercising helped to improve the appearance of my tummy. My exercising certainly helped to tighten my muscles (improved my muscle separation by MILES) but it did not improve the appearance of my skin. You can look up the affects on exercise and saggy skin online too but the short answer is, it cannot stimulate production of new skin. If exercising did the job for me (and others who hit their fitness goals), many would not resort to tummy tucks. I actually started rolling in June and it was at the height of my fitness where I was working out at least 4-5 times a week and eating most clean yet my stomach was still visibly wrinkly. I don't work out as often (about twice a week) and intense as before and I am still seeing my tummy improve bit by bit. I KNOW my skin feels smoother too and exercise cannot do this. I hope this helps.
    NOTE: This video reveals my very own experience and so please understand that results will be different for everybody. I’m not encouraging everyone to run and buy a derma roller. I invite you to watch this video with an open mind. I researched for weeks before I made the purchase of a roller. If you do decide to try out derma rolling, never ever share your derma rollers and make sure you put hygiene and safety first.
    AWESOME NEWS! So the Ghoopshi (the brand I used for my derma rollers) eventually contacted me and offered a discount code;
    Best of luck everyone!!!

    I regret my tummy tuck. I went to a PS for a breast reduction and she shamed me for my belly and offered a deal to do both. Ive had multiple surgeries including a C-section, hysterectomy and spine surgeries, but no surgery compares to the severity of a tummy tuck. Its terrifying to heal from because the fear of the huge incision popping open is real. She had me on so many meds including an opiod- benzo combination which could have killed me and puts people in danger of addiction. I had horrible muscle spasms for years and you cant feel the "triangle" below your belly button. Your nerves dont work right in that area ever again. It still hurts by the incision over 5 years later. I really wish Id just learned to love my mommy belly. Its good to see alternatives to that!

      @Elevendyeleven Před rokem +10

      @@noaddedsugar2930 haha, well actually, one of the wounds came open, but interestingly, that side healed better than the other. Yeah, it hurts. You have to be on bad meds for too long, and can get addicted to opioids, but if that happens you just need to cut the dose every day until youre back to normal. Problem is not everyone can get off them. There is a risk with every surgery, and sometimes those sutures can split open if you are not very careful. It also didnt help my back pain because it turned out I had an autoimmune disorder, so none of the surgeries I had really helped. My breasts look better though. If I cared Id probably get a revision because its definitely not perfect. But I dont!

One of the things that always dissappointed me was that once all the weight is gone I'll look good enough to go to the pool or beach, but I won't because I'll still have all that loose skin, like a thin man wearing a fat man's skin.
    Now I have confidence that I can alleviate the bulk of that skin AS IT LOOSENS! Since I still have about 8 - 10 months to go to get back to proper weight. I can literally be shrinking the skin along with the fat!

      From what I have read, RF treatments and fasting can help with the extra skin. Fasting allows the body to be in the state of autophagy, and that is the body getting rid of extra or old cells it no longer needs. It needs more studies, but it is helpful in other ways as well. Multiple approaches will likely work best over time.

      Desiree Collins I've lost just around 90lbs over the last year. I had similar saggy skin with stretch marks due to the combination of pregnancies and significant decrease in weight. I've been using a derma roller on my tummy and on the bat wings of saggy skin under my arms. I've not been as committed to the process or serious with the proper skin care such as the vitamin C serum, collagen, etc as babz but in the short and inconsistent time that I used the derma roller, there had definitely been a noticeable difference.
      This video has made me feel encouraged to get back to it and to be more serious about it. I might document the results (for myself) so that I can really see the difference in before and after.
      I also feel that a positive attitude is important in anything that we take on and can make a world of difference in the outcomes. I wish you luck with your derma roller! The itchy is your body healing, like when a scab itches, I used to be a tattoo artist and would tell customers to not scratch because it will itch, just put a cold compress, ice pack in a towel, cold gets rid of the itch, but it’s natural, it doesn’t mean anything is wrong .👌

      i have a lot of tattoos. i always patted soft on the tattoo instead of scratching. some (big) tattoos later i started to lightly scratch after a few days, because it wasnt an open wound anymore. 😋 but the patting on the tatt is for sure the one thing i tell other people. or get under the shower and let the water of the shower do the scratching job 😃 helps too

    I know this is old, but CZcams unsubscribed me to your channel, but I'm so glad I found you again. Once again, you've given me some hope! I had the worst time with face washes, and your green tea scrub and the strawberry mask is something I can still use to this day!
    And now, here we are again. You have two beautiful babies! ♡ and you still found a way to give someone who's always admired you (not in a creepy way, I truly look up to you) some hope again. I got very sick, and despite only eating one meal a day, my weight ballooned and I was heartbroken by this circumstance life threw at me. However!!! It's been about a year and a half (ish) and I've lost 60 lbs, and as I'm changing my diet and becoming more active, the weight is dropping and my strength is coming back! I do have a loose skin worry, especially with my tummy, and I didn't want to jump into a tummy tuck right away (costs, mostly) and here's something that I can do to help until I can save up for loose skin removal. (It's every where! Arms legs and tummy!) I'll definitely be doing some research, as I've heard of facial derma rolling, but never quite knew what it was, but the benefits are obvious. Thank you again for hope. I know this video is a few years old, but I'm glad I found it and you again. Thank you, and I hope you're doing well and your babies are healthy and strong! Much love and blessings. ✨️🥰✨️

      @Elizabeth Salzarulo It works great for sun damage if you do it the right way. Go with 1.00 or 1.5 mm, expect some pin point bleeding, then let the skin heal and build up for 1 month. It worked really well for me.

      If you have some extra dollars to spend, do the micro-needling together with a good firming serum. "Matrixyl 10% + HA" or "The Buffet" from The Ordinary will give you great results, and they are really cheap.
