Do a what if Luffy joined the Whitebeard Pirates when Ace asked him in Alabasta .
Lonnie Dearing if that case ace goes with luffy to beat crocodile and luffy and ace would be too much for Blackbeard assuming in this what that luffy gets second gear
Tobirama Senju I doubt they would beat Blackbeard. Remember, Luffy decided to up his powers because Aokiji beat him. Right before Water 7, quite a lot of time after alabasta and Soru/Shave was what has been said to fully gave him the idea. Blackbeard was able to injure Shanks, which was before he even met Luffy. Shanks is a lot stronger than Katakuri and I doubt Katakuri cant even lay a finger on Shanks, yet Blackbeard did. Luffy may have surprised BB in impel down, but he wouldnt have won. Ace wasnt even a match for BB.
Predated O Ace pushed Blackbeard to his limit and Blackbeard shat himself when Shanks arrived at Marineford, he probably scratched him off guard.
u’re giving BB way too much cred, pre timeskip BB wasn’t THAT strong. he’s just a scheming bastard and that will most likely be the reason how he managed to put those scars on Shanks.

The sad thing is: one of these days, we will learn what Roger's actual goal was (saving/uniting the world etc.).
The common people and marines hated him and thus Ace as well, even though Roger was probably trying to help them.
Yet Ace will never know this.
Based on what we’ve seen and heard Roger wasn’t too different from Whitebeard both men were shown to risk their lives for anyone close to them and both were feared for their strength . Hell Roger may have been an emperor at one point .
I wouldn't mind a "filler" arc covering these Ace supplementary light novels. Would be pretty neat.

I was thanking they could adapt these light novels (and perhaps his cover story and episode of 'luff' as well) into an 'Episode of Ace' TV special.
It’s not filler if it’s canon, filler is anime only insert stuff that the anime company slips in usually to buy time.
I imagine if Ace did all that the Revolutionary Army would try n recruit him n we’d get a very nice reunion...
What if the ASL pirates were a thing. Like Luffy, Ace and Sabo be pirates on the same crew. They could possibly be three captains in one crew or three captains part of an alliance and/or empire

In Tekking's scenario, he overlooks the best part.
If Ace pulled off his Gorosei bombing [attempt], he'd likely get an invitation to join the revolutionaries; were he'd bump into Sabo.

The ending of this scenario entirely hinges on the strength of the Gorosei. Tekking assumes they're weak, but I maintain that they are all beasts (at least I hope so). Especially Gandhi. In this situation, I could see them capturing Ace and going through with the execution arc. It would be even more dangerous because Whitebeard would have no real reason to show up. Good luck Luffy...

Well they are strong but I think his sudden confession would leave them like stunned/shocked enough that he could make a quick attack and escape cause remember hes literal fire too so its not like dropping down from a window onto his ship that he could've told his crew to dock would hurt him that badly and it would make him even more badass and make Luffy look cooler too cause to the reader Luffy is the main character so if Ace did something like that then imagine what Luffy could do

That whole "20 months" thing is why I think Portgas D. Rouge was the previous owner of the Gum Gum Fruit. That would also lead into why Shanks had it in a box like it was more special than "just another devil fruit"

That would be kind of intersting if Ace was part of the Marines, Luffy still being a pirate and Sabo being in the revolutionary. It would be like each brother siding with one of the 3 biggest factions/groups in the One Piece universe.

The Gorosei are groomed from birth probably and was made to be strong to ensure that they won't be killed by some random pirates.

If Ace even got to the Gorosei I don't think he'd be able to escape afterwards, since he got fisted by Akainu, and if he did kill the Gorosei and escape wouldn't he be at an even higher tier than King of the Pirates not just a Yonko?
He'd be like the Big Boss of pirates at that point.
Not really since it’s requires strength to be one of the Yonko Ace in the grand scheme of things was pretty weak and the other emperors could kill him effortlessly. Their commanders would be able to as well I don’t see Ace beating the likes of Katakuri in a fight .

The only thing that’ll happen if you become a pirate is we the marines will capture you and imprison you in Impel Down or well capture you and execute you .

It is interesting to think that If ace joined the warlords then Blackbeard wouldn't have become a warlord because he was made a warlord for bringing ace in the first place.
I would imagine his plan would be totally different OR blackbeard might have caught Luffy ( his original target) in order to become a warlord and further his plan. Also there won't be a summit war.

I'm not sure if Shanks would help rescue Luffy if he was scheduled to be executed. Shanks knows that Luffy knows the risk to becoming a pirate and searching for the one piece. Luffy is his own man and Shanks is aware that Luffy is fully prepared to die for that dream (at least we hope he would). Shanks cannot come to his aid should his life be threatened because he choose to become a pirate because then what is stopping him from coming to his aid every time he is in a situation where his life is in danger. Plus, Shanks swore that he would not allow Luffy and him to meet unless he became a great pirate.

We can't say that with 100% certainty. We've never seen Dragon's full strength. Nor the strength of his comrades (fighting fodder doesn't count).We have an idea of Sabo's strength, but like Shanks, we've never seen him go all out. Whitebeard was dubbed the world's strongest man with his crew and had a fleet of pirates from the new world and he still lost. There is no telling if Dragon would far any better.

I think if he would have joined, Blackbeard would have captured Luffy and Ace would have tried to safe him. Maybe it would have been a Marineford with Shanks instead of Whitebeard and we would have learned more about the relationship of Shanks and Blackbeard.

Great video Tekking! I would say sadly either way Ace would meet his end, if he confronted the gorosei about his lineage he could get a taste of revenge but I don’t think he’d come out of it alive, or even if he does escape he’ll get captured and Luffy and co would have to save him again. Maybe Oda thought about all this and figured joining whitebeard was the best course
