"Show-offs" is such a good archtype name for Resistance XD
Here's an interesting Resistance list I made last night, I'm planning on running it next week hopefully:

Between Rey, Fire control system, and a target lock from Ello, my star fortress will almost always get a 2-3 damage attack with a bonus attack that's receiving the same enhancements, then Ello can use a target lock from the star fortress to perform his missile attacks so he doesn't have to lose his lock on the fortress.
Here's a FO swarm list I am going to try out this next week.

Hey Nick! Would you ever consider doing a updated version of the faction archtype videos, one with all 7 factions? I find these to be a great resource for brand new players who are tying to decide what faction is best for their playstyle. Just an idea, I know you have lots of other stuff to do.

That's a great idea! In fact I may have neglected to do one on the 2 newest factions now that I look at it...
Awesome! I enjoy them even as a not-new player, but I’ve shown them to some brand new players and it’s been super helpful for them to figure out what faction they want to play as starting out.

I think I found how to break Major Stridan. List pasted below. Him and Phasma really screws a lot of lists don’t do well with stress. This control and Thanison (and in a few niche scenarios biohex codes) locks up the other ships enough so the two aces can preform well. Any other missile could be used on QuickDraw, I opted for cluster missiles to make it better against swarms.

Yup. We've already made a house rule that takes "Black One" out of the game. I've run that card 3 times with Poe and Ello, and 3 times it has won me the game on that round through positioning. For example, there is nothing to stop you doing a 4, then a 4 k-turn. And you can take an ion token to shoot, but ditch the ion token with Electronic baffle. Since the T70 can also take an ion cannon, that kind of positioning is absolutely lethal.
I personally have more fun flying Starviper Dalan Oberos with his hand break turns and AS for super unpredictable moves , but at Initiative 4 that isn't quite as dangerous.
I want some first order ships for armada, It’d be nice to also get some older ships rereleased with first order aesthetics.
I’ve had success with a resistance swarm list in a couple games. I think I’ll be practicing it some more to see how it goes but I’m enjoying it a lot so far. The a-wings just find it so easy to shed stress you can use their rear arc very effectively every turn and the Advanced Optics ensure the a-wings and consistently rolling damage (2 hits ~82% of the time on 2 dice! 1 hit the remaining ~18% of the time).

Could we get one for CIS/Republic now that they are out there with a few ships?
Maybe one where we see how identities have evolved? It would be extremely helpful for players new and old trying to get into a new faction.
X's and A's will be a thing in the resistance faction, a "Show-off" archetype list. And An "Aces" list in the first order Will probably be Kylo - quickdraw - null.

Lol my phone does some weird stuff with exported text. At least it still reads. So the list. Super simple I know. Just like it's inspiration. I wanted it to be just as simple as it was in 1.0. 4 generics, 2 cheap upgrades. Basic as can be. I'm eager to try it out.
I cannot wait to fly some resistance. I'm waiting for my LFGS to get more A-Wings. I got one but want to fly two with the starfortress.

Kylo Will probably have supernatural reflexes glued to him. And in comparrison with Vader he Will have no drawback to using super reflex
I think FFG could rename Resistance to New Republic, opening a whole bunch of possibilities.
I ran a “Commander” like list Hun nationals, and i know it was back in 1.0 but i liked it. It was hard to fly before and it will be fly it now too. The upsilon has 2-3 turns to shoot... but it us fun i tell ya! ;)

I recently started playing Armada But I really want to play x wing as well. The thing that's holding me back is 2.0. Will every single 1.0 ship get remade into a 2.0 version. Just an example B wings one of my favorite Star Wars ships. Do I need to purchase a 1.0 model and a conversion kit or will it eventually come out in 2.0?
Hey, every ship that was released in 1.0 will eventually Come to 2.0, though the order is unknown. However, you may get a lot of value from buying the conversion kit of your preferred faction. You may look at the contents online, choose which ships you really want to fly and buy them at a discount from all the drop offs. But that's my own opinion, you just might wait for the b wings to officially release. I love them too but I feel like they just aren't strong enough. I wish they did something with the rebels episode focusing on the b wing
