3. If you're gonna go to England, I highly recommend Manchester instead of London. The people are BEYOND super-friendly, the area is great for things to do. I was there for a week back in June, and I'm already working on the plans to go back!

I like the C-ROC, personally. I also love the CR-90, and the Gozanti (despite everyone locally hating it). I am not a huge fan of the Rebel Transport for the reasons you mentioned, and I have to say I'm also not a huge fan of the Imperial Raider just because they're so damn hard to face in the game, and I've been killed by one too many of them. So, I only have one each of the latter; by the end of the month, if all goes well, I'll have two each of the first three mentioned here (already have two CR-90s...what a beautiful ship!).
once i won an epic game solely by ramming, i had a gozanti with unique tie pilots, and a first order tie swarm, in the first salvo, i lost a tie, and did 2 points of damage on a YT 2400, i blocked with the ties so he couldn't move, and rammed a YT 1300, a YT 2400, an ausituck gunship, and a pair of z-95s

congrats on your anniversary, I've tried Rebel and Empire in epic, I have bad experience with deployments, also bad luck with my raider builds (would appreciated if you share some of your lists ) for me the raider tends to have bad luck with the red dice and dice quickly against several ships, love Tarkin, I'm still trying to make Ozzel work. The CR90 on the other hand with han solo and weapons engineer it's proven to be very effective, a long distance hard hitting sniper not easy to fly but not impossible.
C-ROC... the trick with these is that you run 3-5 of these in a 300 point Epic game.it's guns are for the enemy epics, and you plow the road via ramming against the non epic ships. it's pretty effective with just 3 and a fleet of Z-95's with concussion missiles and feedback array's.
Do you think that they will make more epic ships?
What's with the lightsaber nunchucks? Do you have a set of those IRL? :O That picture your wife got is so cute! What a wonderful gift. :)
It's part of my wishlist for things that they will make canon at some point.
You could do Pilot ranking for X-Wing ships.

appreciate the proper use of pronunciation of the Tantive IV... 1983's Radio Drama settled that one for me since I was 8 and thought people were just idiots. :)

Hard to bring the guns of the tantive 4 to bear on one target?
The solution is simple, bank the ship one way or the other and aim the guns, the turrets go vertically and rotate, so angle the top of the ship toward the enemy, aim and fire.
This represents a significant problem with this game, it's a space game, but confined to the tabletop, ergo, it's impossible to do that.
An elegant solution is to have pivoting magnets in the bases, so the ships can bank, it solves the problem and shows greater movement, more animated.
Have you or are you going to do a 2.0 ranking. Or does you ranking stay the same in 2.0?

Thanks for the video. Do you know if all these Epic Ships are in the same scale?
They are not. I believe the GR-75, CR-90, and Raider are all in one scale, and the Gozanti and C-ROC are in a separate scale.
What would you say is the best huge ship for casual play? What has the best mini campaign?
Perhaps the Gozanti simply due to the fact that it had so many fixes, and is VERY fun to deploy TIEs.

Kinda thinking a Gozanti with 4 special forces Ties would be a very unwelcome presence to an enemy fleet...

A little disappointed in the lack of depth of analysis: the C-ROC has many « budget » options which can make it great, the CR-90 can be great by actually broadsiding BEYOND it’s own ships (which is great because more guns on the same target = good), etc.

You mic quality isn't that great. That and the way you were sitting i kept mistaking darth varder's cape as you in a blanket.
I'd personally have to disagree with were you put the C-ROC, only because the crew options on scum are really fantastic. I can fully kit out a C-ROC for 62 points, and still get all four IG-2000 on the field all seriously kitted out. It's a great support ship, and a decent attacker. Plus Ion canons on the aggressor means that you can ram a lot easier. Honestly I'd take a C-ROC before i chose a CR-90
