Technology has come a long way. Emulation is one of the best reasons.
Everyone should think this way. There are not a whole lot of people who have the will, dedication, and expertise to make these emulators. They are time consuming, and most devs do these things in their "spare" time. Along with their real money making jobs, families, personal time/other hobbies. Don't make demands, don't ask for timelines, and don't get mad when something you want doesn't appear when you want it. These things all contribute to a toxic community and drives talent away. They are people, show them respect just like anyone else. Be thankful for how good we have it right now.
These people who harass emulation devs are f...ed up. They dont owe you nothing and are even doing it for free.

You are damn right about KoFAS, either make the game paid or make a offline update to Make it alive without working on it. Take Gran Turismo sport for example, they even have licensed cars and made the game playable offline after its server shutdown, true game devs right there, not wanting their games to be eaten by dust.

The resident evil 2 and 3 release on GOG have not yet released, they are pre orders in the bundle.
And 3 is still in the development phase whilst 2 is done, but yet to be added.
Any info on whether or not these are the sourcenext or mediakite versions for 2 and 3? I believe 1 is mediakite only. Not sure what the GoG versions will release as.

If you turn VSYNC off in ryujinx the game runs at perfect speed (NORMAL) and lets FPS go high as possible. I get 360fps up and down at 2k. No need for PATCH AT ALL!
Patching makes the game run right instead of fast forward
59-60 fps = best for ryujinx

I'd stand clear of Steam Deck Beta and recording for now. It is a complete mess. I released a video this morning about all the things that don't work - and honestly, it made my system very unstable. I rolled back to Stable.
HORI worked with steam to get steam input working well with the HORIPAD for Steam. This is according to steam in the Steam News Events. So I'd assume it'd just work out of the box.
A record function built into Steam? Cool, sign me up.
It's been awhile, but Skyline had still significantly outperformed Yuzu in terms of pure FPS last I checked. It just needed NVDEC for videos. I hope Strato releases with it

I mean i agree with being patient and respecting emulator devs they are humans too. But strato devs have been playing with their fanbase for the past few months. They say we will release it this day then everyone comes together to wait at the discord and they just ghost the fanbase. This happened more then 10 times already. Honestly to get respect one must give respect first. Nice video Mr.Sujano i always come to check on your channel everyday. Thanks for doing what you do.
Mega Man X Dive took everything offline and became pay once get all the content as a gacha. I guess I'm just saying it's been done
The only other games I remember that did something similar were Sonic Runners and Knockout City
I tried Steam Broadcasting recently, and it didn't work well. Not sure if it my miniPC's unimpressive GPU, or something else, but I really do hope that the direction Valve is going is to create a new viable streaming platform. I just hope they're ready for the moderation troubles, and can hopefully create some way for creators to monetize their content.

I'm definitely interested in a dedicated Steam controller, but it's gotta have gyro.
A steam controller might be a bit overwhelming to make. The vision that I had for a steam controller is have the steam deck layout but at the bottom have that xbox keyboard that they used to have on the 360 controllers. If you get something like that it might be perfect.
From what I see in the screenshot, it's the same Hori app that they use with their other controllers, so expect similar compatibility.
That is not what I pictured when I heard "Steam Controller". I miss the real Steam controller. I had one but I lost it in a move.
Same. It doesn't have the trackpads, Rumble, or 4 back buttons. Also the wireless is only Bluetooth (no Wireless USB dongle). It does have Gyro at least (with thumbstick sensors for activation like the Steam Deck) and match the Steam menu button layout. Also has custom programmability with that Hori software (that may or may not work with Steam OS / Linux as Mr. Sujano mentioned). I'm still hoping for a Steam Controller 2 even as someone who didn't have the original one as the Steam Deck really showed me how much potential it has.
I would also be very interested in Valve making an official way to use the Steam Deck with a gaming PC either wirelessly or over USB as a Steam Controller (without having to just use Remote Play for it). This obviously wouldn't be something that anyone should spend $400 just to use as an external controller but would be awesome to be able to use as a companion controller for a gaming PC.
@@ChadWSmith that's what the Stead Deck is for, to have trackpads. The original controller was a test, and the feedback they Valve got was enough for them to not continue with it, especially that users were using the trackpads very little. But it works out well for a portable machine. On the bigger display, analogue is king.

On the Metroid subreddit, someone made a MelonDS fork designed to make Metroid Prime Hunters playable with mouse & keyboard.
Snk recently changed their metal slug attack gacha game to an offline switch game called metal slug attack reloaded. Im pretty sure theyre gonna do the same with kof all stars. They might have to remove the guest characters though due ro licensing

My idea for KOF online is to be treated like Megaman X DIVE, when they made PC version for it, everything unlocked, just buy and play.
If the Horipad is comfy, has gyro, and is plug and play on Linux, then I would love to try it. Otherwise? Meh.

sad about KoF Allstar, truly one of the best gacha games. kind of surprised to hear they're killing off global considering how big KOF is in some markets, but maybe the korean version flopped or something. easy to enjoy without whaling, fairly generous to free players, gameplay that not only was so fun you didn't immediately turn on auto but it has gamepad support to boot! probably didn't do good enough of a job juicing players for money to remain profitable, a pity

That Hori controller looks ugly as heck to me. It's just everywhere and scattered looking. Seriously, I will never understand the desire to keep pushing the asymmetric controller design when it offers no benefits other than looking bad. What you propose for KOF Allstar is viable, we've already seen it done, but it requires them to do work, as opposed to just flipping a switch shutting it down and replacing it in their portfolio with a new Gacha0 that people will have to play and inevitably dump money into because they don't have the old one.
Asymmetric is superior in terms of comfort. Duelsense is pure shit imo and that sort of controller style should not be the standard. Xbox perfected the controller and I say this as someone who dislikes Xbox as a console and service
@@elechain2441 I don't know, considering I prefer analogue sticks at the bottom compared to a diagonal one similar to the Gamecube and Xbox 2001, 360, 2013, and 2020 console controllers.

I used to play that game since launch day (and when I was in high school), I eventually stopped playing later after the SF6 collab ended, kind of ironic this is coming full circle now that Mai and Terry will be officially in SF6, maybe SNK will bring a Capcom fighter into their current KoF game, only time could tell.

Keystone cancellation was not about pricing, it's about redundancy, if they released it, most people that are always online with no bandwidth limitation, would gladly steam and do without the storage limitations of x360, so this would have sold like hot cakes, problem is this would have hindered xbox console sales, especially if priced low or. around 100-150 USD mark.
So basically xbox would. be competing with itself at a low price point, and at a high price point, people would buy a full fledged console instead and stick a larger storage and just manage their stuff/.
