  • In this video we address all the problems with the new daily driver 6.0 powerstroke turbo diesel! Between all the Ford updates and the previous installer error, we had our work cut out for us. Stc fitting, blue spring, 6.4 banjo bolts, stand pipes, dummy plugs, and even the cold side intercooler pipe. We solve the majority of the issues! The truck wouldn’t even go over 55mph, but we got the 6.0 powerstroke running healthy!!

    This is why it is essential that these 6.0’s don’t need to end up in the hands of a mechanic who isn’t properly trained. Nice work getting it back in order.

So it's got alot dont to it. My next upgrades once I get this sorted out is gonna be 155/30 , Odawg sr2 and a ficm tune to help with a faster spool up. • @Evan-gl4dg
      @Evan-gl4dg Před rokem +1

      Gonna need to remove intercooler pipes and coolant bottles for most jobs on them, clamps for intercooler pipes are usually 11mm some are 10, coolant bottle is held by two 8mm bolts, valve covers are all 12mm bolts and I believe 13mm studs, Snap-On electric ratchet is almost a must if you want it done quick and easy, also for the oil rail on the passenger side you’ll need a stubby T30, I bought the vim tools stubby kit. Other than that nothing special other than like a specialty tool ford sells for the injector harness plugs but I just use a socket to press them out, I can’t remember which I think I use a 16mm or 17mm, they’re not too hard to work on once you get most of the bolt on stuff out of the way

    Best upgrade is selling it then buying a 6.7 with all the money you would have put into the 6.0

      False I have less than 5k into this truck. Could drive it as is and would be super reliable. 6.7 is 20k plus, then if you take a loan on it, full coverage insurance and expensive truck payments.

      @@whatsBF3 still cheaper than a 20k plus truck. Also 6.7s are more money to maintain and repair.

    You didn't bleed the fuel system properly that's why it shut off. The fuel pump runs for a while after the injectors stop clicking it runs for like 30 seconds or a minute. You need to bleed it for 2 minutes ish.
