Regarding Shikamaru's face not being on the mountainface, I feel like this could be part of the worldbuilding. Naruto and his time as Hokage represented the closing age of the shinobi. The various shinobi villages are no longer at war, technological advances are growing at a rapid rate. The shinobi really aren't needed as much anymore. At that point, the Hokage is no longer this powerful ninja in the village that can protect it with strength and power, it's more of an elected role. I think Shikamaru would've been the beginning of a new time for Konoha and the rest of the ninja world and as such, there was no need to prominently display his face. Also, they ran out of space like Mt. Rushmore lmao

I think saying Sasuke could teach him a about Hyuga techniques because he "knew Neji really well" is a huge stretch and would be a very unsatisfying answer. Unless I'm missing something Sasuke left the village when he was 11 after leading an intentionally isolated life to hone his vengeance and only even joined the 4th War after Neji died. Naruto for example knows Shikamaru about a million times "more well" and probably couldn't tell you Frog type beat didly squat about shadow possession.
Considering sasuke has probably seen the rotation in fine detail w sharingan it's not s stretch to assume he understands it but can't reproduce that so he can explain to someone who should be able to how it works that being said I think th real stretch is saying he knew neji very well🤣 neji was in a older class than sasuke and they met in the chunin exams which shortly after sasuke wasn't around anymore
The whole sasukes rennigan being put in a claw grime is close to the right answer, but I think I have it. The eye was opened up on the claw mark side of its body not the ten tails “flesh” using the previously shown panel of code putting his eye into one of the other bodies we can theorize that after losing an eye code takes sasukes and puts it in himself thus being able to use his claw marks to have all claw grime share this one rennigan
I also believe in this theory and I’m suprised not many other people have brought it up. It seems pretty obvious from the foreshadowing in ch 72 where Code peaked his eye through that exact clawgrime.
Also because why would Code waste a rinnegan on a clawgrime and not give it to himself when he’s literally missing a left eye? Doesn’t make sense. Unless Code somehow has multiple Rinnegan. But again, if he did, why doesn’t he have one?

I think 3 small changes in the pain arc would make the rest of the show even more legendary.
1. Kakashi doesn’t actually die of chakra exhaustion, just passes out for the arc.
2nagato doesn’t revive the villagers. Everybody important is saved by tsunade.
3kakashi doesn’t meet his dad.. he meets him when he is revived by edo tensei.
I think this allows the rest of the story to feel more realistic for that series and might shorten it just a little.
Kakashi’s death gives some important insight about Obito and Rin imo. Plus Kakashi vs Sakumo in the war might be too much since that arc already has a lot about Kakashi’s past with Obito.

For the Sakura-Rock Lee theory she could possibly rip out her heart if she studied with Shizune who can teach her how to make new organs as she is the only other medical ninja that can do that

The fact that time doesnt flow in daikokuten should be a problem for sasuke. we know that only kawaki can access it and move freely, woudnt sasuke actually trap himself if he travels to daikokuten?
The thing about a potential child between Rock Lee and Sakura is that he/she might not have enough chakra control for the 100 seals technique because Sakura’s chakra control could be cancelled out by Rock Lee’s lack of chakra control
Lee's chakra impairment might not be hereditary like how some IRL impairments aren't. Lee might be capable of making a completely normal child with Sakura's chakra control.

@@imhappy._. the other issue with the theory is that Sakura's actual canon daughter did not inherit her chakra control, so what reason is there to assume that if she had a kid with Rock Lee that it'd be any different? Further, we know that Sakura herself didn't inherit her chakra control, as she's not from a ninja family; so it seems pretty clear that her chakra control is simply hers, and not related to genetics at all.
Pile on top of this, that neither the 8 gates nor the 100 seals techniques are inherited in the first place. They're simply learned abilities that anyone can be taught, assuming they have the physical/chakra control to perform them. Which means that a child between Rock Lee and Sakura isn't even necessary for this theory. The theory is literally "if these 2 characters had a kid, it would inherit each of their non-inherited abilities"
@@phiefer3 it's because inherited skills aren't something you're born with but something you pick up from your parents. Best example I can think of is Sasori. He wasn't born a master puppeteer but he ended up being one because of granny Chiyo. You might not have been born with innate carpenting skills but having a carpenter parent is a really great start to become one. Apply it to Sakura and Lee's hypothetical child and boom 8th gate user with the byakuya seal. Assuming they don't get Lee's chakra impotent gene.
I feel like it's always overlooked that Sarada is already Sakura's child and she according to anime canon can't use medical ninjutsu so we have no reason to believe she would be able to if her dad was Rock Lee.

What if the superior claw grime was the first claw grime Code made, which battled and adapted to Sasukes abilities. After that battle, code continued making claw grimes for 2 years but they never encountered anyone as strong as Sasuke.

Dude, that last one is super interesting. At this point, I really think they're going to introduce time travel to manga canon. With Boruto time travelling to train and stay away from Eida and the Shikamaru Hokage mountain theory it makes too much sense. Plus, if you time travel, it's a great way to connect Rasengan Uzuhiko to the Hyuga because Boruto could train directly under Neji at that point.

Paradox theory; like the paradox guy from Ben10. In the Diekokuten, they find out that each black cube holds a set period in time. Say like a hokage era, but it can only be seen with the Jogan, that’s why it’s the otsutsuki’s ultimate eye. Imagine being able to step into different times and spam full chakra fruits at faster pace.

Going off the last theory... what if boruto doesn't train in the last. If time travel is possible why would he not train in the future. It would explain why boruto is so scared of the ten tail claw grimes and why he knows the best outcome because he's trying to avoid the one he had to train in. Just a thought I could be very wrong.
The theory about Boruto and Kawaki fighting in the past is soooo good. A lot to think about there. I think the answer will be a mix of all the variables nick outlined. I think 1. They retconned the story since that initial unveil of the destroy hokage faces (since Kishimoto took back over), but 2. as a way to smoothly transition back on track without caveating the entire opening scene of the series, they could still incorporate the time traveling turtle bullshit (lol) and it would a great way to save the original narrative. It could also serve as an opportunity to introduce another subplot of how boruto needed to go to the past to access something or someone, to which Kawaki chased him there to stop him from getting whatever Boruto was looking for there - Then that would bring us to modern day, where they are fighting in the past, on a pre-shikamaru cliffside
Earth doesn’t have chakra, it has natural energy ((2 different things)) because chakra exists when one combines physical energy and mental energy… so for the earth to have chakra it would mean that it can knead and combine its physical and mental energies to create chakra which means the earth would be sentient. So either it is a plot hole or someone used the wrong word to describe whatever boruto did.

I'd love if Boruto's new technique leaned towards his hyuga heritage, since i think the story never points out much about Boruto having hyuga blood, having only the anime talk about it when he thought he had awoken the Byakugan. Most of the aparitions about hyuga/byakuna stuff are centered around Himawari instead
And i get that this is to not overload Boruto's character with too many concepts (he already has the whole Karma, Otsutsuki body, shibai reincarnation or whatever thing in his character). So i think having his hyuga heritage forming part or one tecgnique rather than his whole character would be a good way to not forget about that part of his character, while not making it a central point of his character traits

If I am remebering correctly, this generation is the Konoha 18. There are 6 sensei - Konohamaru, Moegi, Udon, Hanabi, Sai and Ibiki.

What if second Hokage? Somehow convince the uchiha to get into the medical field instead of police officers. I think it would’ve been better for their mental health than being police officers. Imagine the future with the Uchi clan team up with the medical squad instead of on the battlefield.

I want to say this at the start, I know all the obstacles in the way of this theory, I know all the abilities of the abilities of the clan I’ve read and watched all of Naruto. I know that this is highly unlikely.
But we know that their eye abilities damages their mind they should not be on the battlefield RB police officers like that their bloodline ability does that make them useful warriors it makes them a liability the second Hokage already made it clear they are bonkers. They should not be trying to kill our subdue people. They should be trying to heal or help the medical field. The ones that are better at healing rise up in the ranks and the ones that are not good at healing should be lower in ranks. I know that this is highly unlikely I know theexist to make war, and I think that’s sad that everyone sees them as useful killers but their story is very sad. They didn’t have a choice. Their ancestors lied to them.

Tsunade’s Mitotic regeneration is based on Hashirama’s healing factor, but it’s specifically based on how Hashirama’s healing factor counter acted Madara’s time based MS abilities which are Pseudo-canon.
She heard about how her grandfather fought a guy who could age a person just by looking at them, and realized she could use it to stay looking young into her 80’s.
So the guessed at what madara a MS is :
1st is from the Naruto game which was the ability to see the future and re wind that.
2ed the ability to see threw shadow and wood clones.

@@bambabarry Theoretically speaking I was thinking Edo Madara and Danzo could meet or if Madara was somehow able to live after being hunted by Tobirama and the group of Shinobi he took with him(I think some of them were Uchiha). Tobirama was in a squadron with Hiruzen, Danzo and a Uchiha called Kazuma or Kazama back when Tobirama sacrificed his life and elected Hiruzen as the third hokage.

I'd say Boruto says that because he's probably not taking in the nature chakra in his body. More like I'd say redirecting the chakra/guiding the chakra or letting the chakra flow. Like if a heavy ball has a rope tied to it, and is flying that way, and you grab the rope and the ball rotates around you as it's pivot point while keeping momentum. Something similar in principle I theorize for uzohiko. Where the chakra is still rotating together with the planet, but you just "grab the rope" and you're altering the pivot point of (in this case) the rotation.
RASENGAN UZUHIKO THEORY

So since the mechanics of uzuhiko are still alittle fuzzy I was thinking and it seems nobody has thought of this theory, but what if uzuhiko and “earths rotation” let’s Boruto actually gain the power of the earths rotation, but he actually adopts his own rotation? That being said on activation Boruto gains his own orbit and anyone touched by Boruto gets sucked into his orbit? Code then fighting to stay still is no longer in the earths rotation but in Borutos? Making gravity work against him causing the dizziness and damage. This would also work well with the thought of Boruto being Mitsukis Sun since the Sun controls our solar system and basically Code is just another planet. Although I dont have all the details I figured I’d shoot it your way and with your knowledge maybe I’m on to something? Thanks for the content!!!🔥

The Hinata scene was from a filler ep where Naruto was peeping at Hinata training in the middle of night. It's just showy animation than a jutsu. (There are also a lot of edits having it turn into a R34 thing just because Naruto was peeping)
The Sasuke getting rinnegan back lit up an idea in my head. We do not need rinnegan per se, as we have seen that eyes in the naruto/boruto universe are like lightbulbs, so it would just take Kawaki's eye...

Why can't the 100 healing be used to just repair the heart when they want to end the 8th gate? Wouldn't re"sealing" the system allow for it to restabilize? Maybe not instantly and would prob need some sort of cooling method for the blood being as hot as it is but I don't recall seeing this as a point.

The rock lee and sakura theory majes mo sense because neither of their abilities are clan specific. Technically anyone could train to do either or both of those things.

I think Shikamaru knows the truth even though he's been affected by the Eida's jutsu. There is nothing to not suggest he and Sasuke haven't been keeping in touch with one another or rather he noticed something was off about Kawaki and him being a cyborg. So him keeping his face off the wall is intentional
I think that if Shikamaru has figured it out, he's not discussed it with anyone. Edia's ability to see anything people are doing makes it difficult to do anything secretly. But, we also know Shikamaru is pretty smart and has had years to think it over.

@@phonyalias7574well, eida may or may not have told kawaki if shikamaru was in fact keeping in touch with sasuke. Eida is neutral, she is fine with boruto and kawaki, the ability was activated without her permission.
Danzo could be working with black zetsu to create the seals. Since it involves hashirama cells,it must have been a blob of meat. In wich black zetsu could have infused some of its chakra. And since It was implanted in Sumire after kaguya died, it could work be like a white karma seal that primarily gives her the ability to travel between dimensions. During the time skip she would have studied and worked on it with Amado. Then being able to fully use it as a white karma and awakening all of kaguya’s power. By having it infused in her body she would be a pseudo otsusuki which would explain her being able to resist Omnipotence.
I dont know if there is a video on this yet. But since the ten tails becomes the tree of life and the otsutsuki use them to drain the Chakra of other realms. Does that mean that there is more than one ten tails? And if there are does that mean there could possibly be more tailed beasts in a different realm?
People don't need to be related to rock lee in order to access the 8 gates, really anyone could start training the 8 gates
I just realized something what if Instead of using Your MS abilities you have a shadow clone use it so you don't end up going blind from over using The MS
The part about Boruto's new Rasengan using the rotation of the Earth is to do with perpetual motion, I assume. Whereas a normal jutsu cast onto an enemy would dissipate over time, a rotational jutsu (the rasengan) that matches the rotation of the earth would be infinitely propelled. I'm no scientist, but I know that true perpetual motion/energy isn't possible in the real world because friction and momentum cause eventual dissipation. something like that. So I suppose in this case, by matching the rotation of the Earth, it is essentially not moving at all... or it is moving so fast that in the grand scheme of earth's rotation it is effectively still. SOO if something "isn't rotating at all", there's no rotation/momentum for it to lose. if that makes sense? The way I see it in my mind, is like those illusions when something spins so fast that it starts to look like its spinning the opposite direction or looks like it isn't spinning at all.
And then the part about Earth's Chakra is probably since the rasengan is spinning in sync with the Earth, it happens to access the Earth's infinite chakra pool, which fuels the energy aspect of the jutsu

In fact, I'm not confident that Sasuke ever saw Neji fight and had no interactions with him after their first meeting. Every time Neji fought in Naruto Sasuke was either out of comission or not in the area. In Shippuden Neji barely fights and I think Neji dies before Sasuke arrives at the 4th Shinobi World War, so they never actually get a chance to meet in Shippuden.
My thing about Sakura and Rock Lee’s baby is that neither one of them obtained their power genetically. Could legitimately introduce any character who is able to train in both 100 healings and the 8 gates. Same idea as Rock Lee worshipping Lord Jashin/100 Healings or Sakura learning the 8 gates. I just think Kishimoto wants to avoid these kinds of combos because they’re broken to the point of being boring. Unless Sakura joins Rock Lee in training the Suicide Corps and that’s seen as a way to have Konica be defended against Otsutsuki if an all out invasion happened
