An option that didn't get mentioned here: Kakashi is MIA so far, but so is Sakura. It's entirely possible these two are working together to try to hunt down Sasuke. If perchance they haven't managed it so far, or didn't really get a good chance to talk yet, then we might end up with Boruto and Sarada and whoever else is with them at the time fighting against these two for a bit, before finally talks start to open up. That leaves Sakura on hand to be the Tsunade in the trio, if that's where we're going with this. Plus of course everything you said about Kakashi being a great teacher for Sarada as well.
In fact, thinking it over, that gives us a really neat lineup: Got our three Sannin, though it's a little lopsided, got our three teammate trainees, as soon as Mitsuki catches up, AND we have Kakashi to be their team leader, which frees up Konohamaru to lead Team 10 in the absence of - and against the Shinju of - Moegi. It's all shaking out rather nicely, tbh.
Also I love the idea of Mitsuki being thoroughly on our team but not officially broken out of Omnipotence. That would be some really cool insight into the ability, and he might be a good test subject for any ways to officially break it (not necessarily scientific ways, just any way at all). It keeps the power as more than just a one-off "this is why no one's on Boruto's side" plot device, and Kishimoto does seem to be trying to keep it more complex and more relevant than that.
A teory that I thought is, that team 10 is more connect to Konohamaru to fight Moegi, than Himawari staying in Konoha, by merging Konohamaru and team 10, close the cicle of the ino shika cho trio and a sarutobi sensei.
orochimaru already saved konohamaru from victor, what if orochimaru saves him again from moegi?
I never understand mitski not realizing that something is wrong with his memories because weren’t we told that orochimaru has a back up of all of Mitski‘s memories?
and I understand that eida’s power gets stronger over time shouldn’t that at least be enough to put doubt in his mind about whether or not he can trust his own memories

Sarada and Sumire had a talk about how they showed pictures of Boruto and Naruto together, and somehow, no one believed them. The Boro fight was the only time we saw the new team 7 fight together other than some fodder ninja. And even then, Konohamaru wasn’t there. It’s why I actually like the anime canon. We get to see them be an actual team.

You're missing the part where Sarada doesn't need Tsunade. Her own mother is literally missing from the village. We haven't seen her yet at all. And she's at least on Tsunades level of power.
I'd even argue it's clear as day Sakura surpassed Tsunade well into Boruto, even by the Last. We've seen her in Boruto pt 1 and they haven't given us anything on why an og mc or supporting mc isn't around when their entire family is in turmoil.
As hard as Sakura went caring for Sarada in pt1 it feels soooo odd that she hasn't returned. Kishi specifically wrote the manga against Shin to showcase their family dynamic and how far she's willing to go. I just hope that for her and / or Kakashi's sake, if and when they are brought back it's done with respect and care, and makes them look badass!
Their kits are based on chakra control though, which Sarada always sucked at. Might make more sense to have Kakashi train her. Or they can just ressurect Itachi again or time travel or whatever

Kawaki's position as antagonist is baffling to me, he was built up as this living weapon capable of mass destruction but has done nothing for the last 2 years but get bodied by literally everyone he fights and mope about getting his ass kicked.
There’s an interesting point that there are a number of characters unaccounted for currently. Do we think it’s possible that team 7 will get training from not just Orochimaru and Kashin Koji, but also Tsunade? So The Sannin will essentially have trained both generations of team 7

If himawari is closer to the shinju than a jinchuriki, that must shed light on what happened to sasuke. Maybe the tree grime is the jinchuriki and sasuke is like the tailed beast entity trapped within, like a reverse jinchuriki entity.

Outside of his experiments & connection to Naruto/Sasuke Orochimaru has a vested interest in training hidden leaf Shinobi. When denki and his team went to his hide out to get his autograph he was excited because he thought they wanted knowledge or training. He was disappointed to learn they just wanted to meet him and sign their trading card. Orochimaru is a LEGEND and well respected by all despite the bad things he’s done. Also, he does have a soft pot for Naruto. I had to watch the series multiple times to see it. He could have killed Naruto when they fought. He could have let Sasuke kill him when he stopped him from using Kiren. He’s one of the few ppl who knew his true identity he could have told the world. They fact he gets the chance to train both of Naruto’s children and his favorite student lt Sasuke daughter is good. Plus he gets to do more studies.

Shikamaru’s scenes where we see him as weak will probably lead to a later reveal that Shikamaru trains to find a way to be powerful enough to make a difference down the line. I think that is being foreshadowed for one cool moment.

On a diffrent note, it would be a nod to Mito Uzumaki, Tsunade's grandmother and the 1th junchuriki of Kurama. Mito had the byakuya seal, just like Tsunade. We could finally find out more about it. Maybe is an Uzumaki jutsu.
Himawari ecoing all the previous 9 tails jinchiriki would be cool. Also, this could be a pathway to the introduction of slug sage mode. Something, that the fans also want and complain we did not get in shippuden.

Why would he go to kabuto when orochimaru is the best teacher in the verse. He's much stronger than kabuto and he knows a lot more. His sword skills are also on another level and orochimaru now has sage and knows more about it.
Orochimaru is more deadly, if Mitsuki trained with orochimaru during those 2 years boruto was not beating Mitsuki that easy

Also, if Hima stays in konoha, it gives a chance for Konohamaru to train her while getting himself in shape. He's technically Naruto's first student and has an in story reason to not look as shitty as he did in the last issue.
Maybe Hima goes to Gaara or Octopop to train as a jinchuriki since they were both close friends to Naruto. Shukaku might suggest it since he is at Naruto's house (at least in the Anime).

I sure hope the next chapters focus more on character development, and tone down the action. The last 10 or so chapters have all been 95% action and plot devices, and no slow moments to build up any emotional impact to what happens next.
15:30 those two images side by side really capture both the difference in classic anime style v. modern, and both team 7's. Naruto's picture has so much characterization, you can see what each member is about just from their post and facial expression. Naruto sees Sasuke as a rival, Sasuke hates everyone, Sakura is just happy to be there and kakashi is trying his best to keep them together, and he's so much older than them that he has to crouch down. The Boruto team picture has no characterization, i have no idea what each member is about . They are all just standing confidently and far apart from each other. No facial expressions at all, it looks like they dont even know each other.

Along the lines of kakashi being "smarter than Shikamaru" I would love to see a confrontation between Boruto and Kakashi, where he figures out something isn't right when fighting him. Boruto holding back, rasengan, flying raijin would all make Kakashi think twice. Then it would be sick if he joined team 7 at that point to train sarada

I suppose it could be another pre 4th great ninja war naruto scenario. The best place to keep Himawari is away from the people, and most importantly, keep the enemy away from Hima so she could potentially train her Kurama Mode etc. However, having Kawaki and the overall issue to boot, it could work either way.
Another reason himawari doesn’t need to go is that she is the one who the mind trick worked but also didn’t. All the mind thing did was swap boruto and kawaki’s lives and she knows damn well that kawaki would never kill her parents so in the end knows boruto would not kill them
Idk she will be the greatest Naruto attitude struggle and .. work ethic is part of what made him a good lead for the 9 tails he earned that respect from similar situations to the tail beast

Hey don’t know if you read you comments or if anyone will like this comment. But I have a theory, what if the one who helps break everyone from their memories being switched is the kurama . I won’t go to far into in but in simple terms what if kurama shared his memories with everyone outside of kawaki. Shikamaru could then relay the message to everyone with ino since eida can’t see what’s happening because it’s happening telepathically. Not sure if that would break omnipotence but just a theory people are already slowing breaking out of it this could be the last piece.
Konohamaru needs to ditch Shikamaru and go become a toad sage. Or monkey sage. 🐸🐵

Currently, the only development of Boruto and Mitsuki's relationship I see coming is offscreen in a dirty single bed hotel room in the Konoha red light district the way things are going.
The whole time the video was playing i just couldn't stop thinking about how Kakashi AND Sakura have to be there to help them train. Sakura being tgere helps keep the Sanin lineage going. I mean Jaraiya, Oro and Tsunade all trained Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura so why wouldn't Oro, Sakura and Koji train the new batch? Also i feel like that might be all the people on their side right now, but something is telling me that maybe they've slowly gathered a couple others to build a team to help out. That might be a little farfetched, but it would be cool

I want so badly for Kashin Koji to get enough flashes of memories for Jiraiyas personality to merge with his and him to then meet Tsunade. She couldn't have Jiraiya like they both deserved but Kashin Koji is effectively a second chance. Imagine to beat the ultimate bad guy Shibai the Sannin and both old Gen team 7 and new Gen team 7 all team up in some capacity in a 4th great Shinobi world War kind of final showdown.
Also speaking of the 4th world War imagine Himawari can do everything Naruto can do and more. He could give countless people a 1 tail cloak. What if she could at least give Naruto something like that. Or their Chakra resonates and he rekindled some ember of the power he once had. If she could do that being the best jinchuriki ever then she might could give Naruto back all his power aside from the one that killed him. It might just be a sliver of power to Himawari but it could be a lot to Naruto.
