I feel like if Tenten had been born in the Mist and mastered 6/7 swords they would’ve absolutely made her the 3 Tails Jinjuriki so she could wield Samehada and be their secret weapon, especially since she’d definitely have learned the hidden mist jutsu

I think you're giving Tenten way to much credit here she wouldn't be skilled enough to gain one of the swords in the first place, the sword are reserved for the strongest in the mist village as seen with Kisame's old teacher who was mowing down shinobi in the war arc. The best she could hope for is the role of suigetsu brother (but just the part where she summons the swords not the one where she is a master of them) in the since that she could just summon the swords for the other swordsman of the mist.

No she wouldn't, If she was born in the mist she would be either be dead or much weaker because she wouldn't have the guidance of Might Guy or the stability of the leaf that allows the most vulnerable to develop further, the mist has the highest student mortality as shown in the first arc and they are very poor which would mean that they wouldn't bother with a student who specialises in weapons and as shown in the manga never grew passed a chunnin in Boruto. The fact that Tenten specialises in weapons is prove of how unworthy she is of any of the swords, remember the 7 swordsman are strong because they are s rank ninja without the swords they don't rely on them as shown with Suigetsu's brother and kisame's sensei they were both powerful without the swords.Tenten on the other hand is defenseless without her weapons and was only ever useful when she got a hold of the sage weapons.
If anyone is worthy of those swords it's Neji or Lee since they are both Jonin level by themselves Tenten isn't and she has neither the talent to go further, she would die if born in the mist or never make it as a ninja because the mist would ignore her or be unable to give her the necessary guidance.
An immortal Hidan using the 8 gates sounds terrifying.
honestly i dont think hidan could use the 8 gates, atleast not the final gate because you have to damage/destroy a chakra point to open the last gate which hiddans body would just near instantly regenerate which would turn off the 8th gate
after using the eight gates you disintegrate into ash so even if he was alive he'd be a pile of ash xD

It raises the body temp to the point that it essentially uses your own blood as a chakra source by evaporating it.
Doing that will force the body to wildly overheat. In that state you either use all the moisture in your body or lose it.
Which will kill him.

My friend and I were actually discussing Tenten recently, and we both agreed that she was vastly underutilized. She's hella powerful, and I wish more had been done with her character.

She doesn't have flashy energy blast type jutsu, she utilizes strategy and weapon genius. It's sad because she could easily be one of the strongest fighters by finding snd instantly mastering the most powerful weapons

The backstory the filler gave her made her waaaaay more interesting. There she was inspired by Tsunade and wanted to emulate her but failed hard at everything Tsunade was good at. She wasn’t super strong, couldn’t heal people, and her breast size was underwhelming. The only thing about Tsunade she could emulate was the summing jutsu but she couldn’t find a animal to form a contract with, so she started summoning weapons. From there she kept getting better with that until she mastered all the weapons in the hidden leaf and got good enough at item summoning that it was viable in combat. She basically invented her fighting style from scratch.
The reason Tenten doesn't get alot of screentime is primarily because she's busy recovering all of her Kunai and "reload" all of her scrolls

Personally I think Kisame and Killer Bee would have been good friends if Kisame was born in the hidden cloud. They could ha bonded over being different and their affinity towards kenjutsu. Plus they’re personalities and chakra levels seem to match.
I can imagine them having a deidara and tobi style friendship, one drives the other bonkers but they still care.

@benjaminikpeme596 Like you said Kisame and Killer Bee would be best friends, and would talk and respect each other. Another thing is that Killer Bee was hated for being the jinchuriki of Gyuki, with that same hate towards Kisame because he is shark-human they both would notice that with each other and probably bond.
I feel like both Haku and Kimmimaro both fit in here. They both had massive potential but they were born in the mist with kekkei genkai which needless to say isn't a good spawn point. With Kimmimaro especially he could have possibly had his Chakra sickness treated by tsunade, plus if he was trained by gai in taijutsu he could have been unstoppable even without infinite 8 gates
Haku is another one that technically should've killed Sasuke.

Kinda makes you wonder why Orochimaru never fled to the Hidden Mist. Sure, there'd be trust issues early on, but if he could manage to get past that barrier he'd basically have his perfect ideal life. He's not exactly stupid or uninformed either, so he should have been aware of the possibility. He must have decided not to for some reason.
Even if he was a Sannin he wouldn't have had peace in Mist like he's has in the Leaf.
because of his goal. Orochimaru started out as a good person, then through war became a person willing to do bad things for a good end. his quest of immortality and mastery of every jutsu was so he could end all wars. he wanted to protect the children he trained his entire life to protect... which is why it was watching children under his protection die is what made him go mad.
but when he was first chased out of the leaf he thought he was the good guy, someone willing to make the sacrifices needed for the greater good. it wasn't until decades later that he had become so twisted and tainted by his experiments and desensitized to suffering that he became a full asshole.
So he wouldn't side with the mist, because he was still fighting for the greater good, but by the time he'd given up that mindset he was already set up with everything he needed and the mist was out of their blood phase.
Probably because of how they treated those with special blood lines.
He was all over. No need to affiliate with one village when you can make your own and kidnap test subjects from every other village

Kisame being born in the Hidden Cloud with his strength and Chakra means he would've been a front-runner to be the 8 tails jinchuriki.
He most likely wouldn't become a perfect jinchuriki though. He doesn't have the attitude of Naruto or bee.
@billiondavid That's why they have the waterfall training. Kisame could've trained there like Naruto did and eventually force the 8 tails into submission like Naruto originally did to Kurama. So maybe not perfect jinchuriki but he would control the 8 tails no problem. IMO

About Zabuza: I agree with everything you said, except you were a bit off in giving his backstory. He did become a ninja by joining the ninja academy, but he didn't advance by killing his fellow students. Instead he killed over 100 ninja students, an ENTIRE GRADUATING CLASS, before he even joined the academy. A feat so terrible that Zabuza single-handed caused the graduation death-match practice to end, resulting in the Hidden Mist no longer living up to the "Blood Mist Village" nickname. This is something I feel makes Zabuza even more terrifying, as he was strong and skilled enough to potentially be a jonin before he was even a genin.

Do like the reorganizing of character birth locations. And yeah... Surprised that the Uzimaki ended up spread across the land rather than the survivors going to where they knew their allies were. Since the Uzimaki were allies of Konoha right?
Why on earth would they go to Konoha? The two villages had a treaty to help one another if needed and Hiruzen did like nothing when Uzushio was attacked. Yeah you could say that they simply hadn't known about it until after but he doesn't even send for teams to look for survivors. The only time he actually has one of the Uzumaki survivors tracked down was when Kushina was brought in and that was cause they needed a knew nine tails Jinjuriki.
So yeah I wouldn't go to them either.
You know, I feel like Tenten's true potential will be unlocked not in Mist, but Sand. A Tenten that can hurl weapons like a gatling gun, then use Suna puppetry to control the weapons she already threw out in the open would amplify her threat level massively. Imagine an entirely controlled hailstorm of kunai and shurikens, or random scattered weapons that can backstab enemies with lightnight speeds on will should the opportunity arises. Imagine an entire swirling storm of Hiraishin kunais with which Tenten would teleport around the battlefield like she's raping space-time into submission. Puppetry Tenten would easily be a force to behold.
But that was kinda the secret 2nd phase of her twin rising dragons super final jutsu. After she threw all the weapons at you, she attacked you again with everything on a string.
We joke about it but that would have demolished anyone there besides Temari, Gaara, and Neji. Air hands guy might have put up a fight but that's about it

@@tdon6975 honestly, zaku's slicing waves were really strong for genin at the time. they could rip up long sections of earth and turn them into gravel and were said to be able to crush boulders, that's more than what temari's wind scythe jutsu could do which couldn't even cut down a tree during the chunin exams. tenten vs zaku would basically be tenten vs a more powerful temari with somewhat less range and aoe (of course ignoring the fact that temari is much smarter, faster, and physically stronger, not that those advantages matter much compared to her vs zaku in the tenten matchup). i think zaku hard counters rising twin dragons and deals with tenten pretty handily, especially since tenten presumably has no way to use fire/explosives with her weapons at this point unlike what sasuke did against zaku.
scaling off zaku, shino literally facetanked his slicing waves at point blank and got up with only a little blood shed (and it's arguable that wound is only due to shino opening his skin himself to free the bugs in his body and not something zaku inflicted). shino's durability among the genin in the chunin exams is actually very underrated. granted, shino had his bugs inside zaku's arms the whole match so he may have clogged them so the slicing waves wouldn't hit shino at full force, but the fact that shino's bugs can even absorb the pressure of zaku's slicing waves to do so just proves how durable they are. his bugs were also able to tank kankuro's blades and the explosion from his smoke bomb without breaking formation or even being knocked back. shino could tank the first phase of rising twin dragons with his bugs and tenten wouldn't even be able to perform the second phase if his bugs trap her weapons or her wires. shino hard counters her.
aside from those two, i feel like choji could tank rising twin dragons for a while since his human boulder was pretty evenly matched with zaku's slicing waves, and we know that jutsu deals with weapons pretty easily. still, even his defense has its limits as dosu proved, and tenten's weapons puncture so he wont't be able to fully absorb the impact with the increased surface area of expansion jutsu. and i'm just speaking solely on if he can tank rising twin dragons, i think tenten beats choji pretty handily in a full-on fight since choji's very slow, showed little courage or intelligence in fights, and was honestly one of the weakest genin in the exams. speaking of dosu, he might also be able to defend himself to an extent for similar reasons to zaku since his resonating echo drill was able to rip apart an incoming log and his speaker itself can tank kunai without a scratch. however, the effective range of his jutsu is much shorter than zaku's, so even if he can stop her weapons, tenten could find some counterplay against his defense. maybe the follow-up attack on rising twin dragons will actually hit.
as for everyone else in the exams, yeah they are getting cooked if they try to defend against tenten's bullet hell. evading is a different story, but only lee and neji could reliably dodge all or at least most of her weapons. arguably prelims sasuke too. that's pretty much it for how all the genin fare against rising twin dragons, how an actual fight goes between tenten and the genin is a different story.
Tenten in the Mist: She best hope she would have been born into one of the upper ranked families to even get the chance to try to join the 7 Swordsmen of the Mist...or prove herself to be especially powerful.
Hidan in the Leaf: Why do I feel like he and Might Guy would be the most bizarre training partners/frenemies ever? Even without the 8 gates, if he trains regular against people like Might Guy and Kakashi, he would have been one of the, if not the most skilled weapon's user in the Leaf, maybe even serving as Tenten's instructor for his favored weapon, the scythe.
Nagato in the Cloud: Because of his bloodline, he would be highly favored in the Cloud as they love trying to take stuff that the Leaf had, and what better thing then someone of the same bloodline as the 1st and 4th hokage's wives? I don't think he would be chosen to house the 8-tail, simple because he and the Raikage wouldn't be a good pairing, but his skills and massive charkra reserves would certainly see him being one of their best Jounin. Plus, because of the Cloud's historical hostile relationship with the Leaf, Madara may still give him the Rinnegan which on top of everything else, would make him their strongest ninja, even above Bee and the Raikage and if Madara pushes them as the hostile village...Naruto's going to need alot more of that plot armor to best him.
Kisame in the Cloud: Well...he and Nagato could end up as partners, the new Gold and Silver brothers as what do you get when you combine the Rinnegan, and the person known as the tailless tailed beast? You get a force of nature. No Joke, these two would be TOO strong as Kishimoto would have to either nerf them, make then idiots or give Naruto and Sasuke much more power early one to match these two.
Karin in the Leaf: Since she's an Uzumaki, no doubt her parents were as well and once the dust from Obito's attack settles, the 3rd Hokage might place Naruto with her family as he would want the child to at least be with his kin and you know....not leave the kid as an orphan. So she and Naruto would effectively grow up as siblings, and I can totally see how their dynamic would counter others in the village, case in point-Sasuka and Itachi and Neji and Hinata as where one wants to kill the other, and the other was mostly hostile dismissiveness, they'll be the only healthy one, even if their Uzumaki temper has them brawling on the regular, you know it's a place of love. Plus, she most likely would never fall in love in Sasuke as (1) she sees how he treats others and (2) how he treats her brother as only she's allowed to make his day shit...so maybe she likes Rock Lee, just for the Lols

If you remember, B got the 8tail after becoming B, and the jinchiriki before him wasn't a B, so they could still become the AB couple while nagato becomes the 8tail

I feel like lord Jashin must exist otherwise Hidan would need to either be able to mold chakra to perform his body linking ritual or he relies on lord Jashin's power for the ritual. It seems unlikely that there is just some 3rd completely unexplained phenomena in the naruto world that is never mentioned that exclusively powers Hidan's ritual thing. If we assume he can't mold chakra then the ritual must be coming from some actual power like lord Jashin.
it could be a form of kekkei genkai where hiddans body naturally uses his chakra to constantly regenerate itself, similiar to the hundred healings jutsu just without the 'off' button, which would also explain why he CANT mold chakra because the chakra is used up instantly, which would sort of be the reverse situation to edotensei zombies, they have a normal amount of chakra that essentially doesnt deplete so they can spam jutsus without using chakra, whereas hidan has a near infinite amount of chakra or atleast insane chakra regeneration but because his chakra is used up all the time he cant use jutsu at all, it could also explain his 'damage transfer' ability, by ingesting the blood of someone he creates a connection to their chakra so he uses their chakra to heal himself which has the added effect of mirroring his damage to them, its not the best explanation but its a possibility
@@vhaelen326 With your Kekkai Genkai theory in mind, I just realized something, what if Hidan is a offshoot descendant of the Senju? Hashirama has an insane healing factor, like Hidan in this case. And Senju have commonly had silver/white hair, like Tobirama and Itama. I'm now a Hidan Senju truther.
@@nearthe2nd Hashirama had to teach himself how to regenerate. He mastered how to use regeneration without hand signs, but it's not an innate trait. Regeneration is not a bloodline trait of the Senju.
I think when Kishi created Hidan, he wasn't expecting people to care about who Jashin is. He probably assumed that people would just take an agnostic or atheistic approach to the deity and not ask questions. I don't think he intended on Jashin being a real part of the story, he just wanted a pagan zealot in the Akatsuki to add to the creepiness of the organization. (I know alot of people want to attribute Hidan to a Christian/Catholic zealot because that's the primary reference to religion we have in the West, but Jashinism rituals are very paganistic in nature.) Back then, the Akatsuki was still that dark, mysterious, and scary group with weird characters.
@@avaliausd. it is though, hasiramas regeneration was extreme even for senju but all senju had vastly increased natural healing, which is also the reason why the uzumaki have such a high life force because they branched of from senju a while back, but i would like to know your source for knowing that hashirama had to teach himself how to heal himself
Tenten was vastly under utilized. He scrolls were basically space time ninjitsu.
Even though it was expanded on in a filler episode, if she could connect here space time ninjitsu to the bottom of the ocean, say something like the Mariana Trench, imagine the force and temperature said water would be expelled from the scroll.
Danzo being born into another village does massive wonders for Konoha, as the vast majority of Konoha's problems not caused by Madara and Obito, go back to Danzo and Sarutobi just turning a blind eye to whatever Danzo did .
12:00 Hidan is somewhat disciplined and can follow a strict training regimen given how he has to follow his prayer rituals very consistently. He probably would've been the anbu captain Gai wishes he could be due to his personality

Man...I love how cute Naruto and Hinata are, but everytime Karin and Naruto are brought up, it makes me wish we got more interactions between them, even if not in a romantic sense. I feel like, even in a non-shipping way, they would play off of each other like the brother/sister/actual blood relation neither had in their formative years.
Also in a romantic/shipping sense...hoo boy, the amount of escalating yelling at each other followed by hard cut to hardcore making out/"adult hugging" is both hot and hilarious 😂

madara could use the uzumaki clan massacre to manipulate Nagato if he were born in Konoha, showing him how Konoha was actually involved/sat back and let his entire family be destroyed and claiming it was because they wanted control of his eyes and didn't want his loyalties to be split. It would also let us find out what actually happened during the uzumaki clan massacre.

The conference jutsu is a ninjutsu, but the tailed beast sealing is a different branch of shinobi techniques.

In my opinion, Hanzo the Salamander should've been born in the Hidden Rock Village. Hanzo was an incredibly dedicated person, one who was so adamant in his goal, that like the Hidden Rock he'd go to greater lengths. If Hanzo became Tsuchikage? He wouldn't have to worry about losing his motivations in life, because his people will always stand beside him. He wouldn't need to worry about losing power, because he controls one of the strongest villages around. Most importantly, Hanzo wouldn't have to worry about an uprising, the very thing that spelt his demise. He wouldn't have to partner with the early Akatsuki, he wouldn't need Danzo convincing him, to take out said Akatsuki fuelling his paranoia. Hanzo could potentially achieve his vision of peace, becoming one the most honorable among the Tsuchikage.
I agree with a lot of this, a lot of my issues with the other villages primarily Stone and Mist that we didn’t have much connection to the people they introduced when the war came along, if more of the major characters we met earlier came from other villages I would have felt more tied to them and also felt like each nation was continuing equally in the war.

I think kiba would of been best in the hidden mist. He needed abilities that concealed him so he could use his sense of smell. Otherwise if he went more on the combat side, the cloud village. They didn't even need to be in another village, they just need different teachers. I don't know who established the ninja teams but while each member fills a different role, their teachers are vastly mischosen. Tenten should never have been placed under a taijutsu specialist. Honestly what was Kurenai gonna teach Hinata.

The point I'm really making is that the teacher/leader system is a failure and it would be much better if they worked on their strengths instead of usability.

The teams are made for different purposes. Team 8 is a super specialised tracking and spying team. Genjutsu is paramount when stealth is involved. Genjutsu can be used to conceal oneself , distract the target, etc etc. That is why kurenai was the jonin sensei.
Ino-shika-cho being headed by a sarutobi is basically Village tradition. They have been doing it since the beginning of konaha.
Kakashi heading team seven is because he is the only one with the sharingan who can teach Sasuke. Naruto being the kyuubi jinchuriki played a part in his appointment aswell. Sakura is the odd one out. She is only there because she is the top ranked kunoichi.
Team gai is an open combat juggernaut. Neji the hyuga prodigy, taijutsu specialist rock lee and weapons specialist tenten to cover up the gaps. Don't forget Guy is not just a taijutsu specialist. He is a weapons expert aswell. He is perfectly fit to teach tenten.

Do you think that if Kisame had been born in the hidden cloud then when A (the third Raikage one) was looking for a partner it could have ended up as being Kisame, which would have lead to the possibility of Kisame being the 8 tails jinchuriki on top of his incredibly massive chakra reserves. I'm pretty sure Hidan can in fact use ninjutsu because he's seen in the akatsuki meetings and he's shown sealing away the tailed beasts. Both feats require the use of ninjutsu

I've been saying this for years and I'll say it again: TenTen could have been more interesting if she started to use weapons that use element release such as fire, water and air but it required less chakra in part one. That makes my suspicion of Karin being Sarada's mom even more likely. I still think that umbilical cord belongs to Karin. So that DNA test does not make Sakura the mom, but Karin.
And 9 month pregnant Sakura with huge belly going on a mission doesn't make sense. I think Karin had some birth complications, and Sakura the medical ninja came to help.

What if Orochimaru had gone to the Hidden Mist Village, rather than the Akatsuki? Perhaps he would have been turned away but perhaps they would welcome him based on how much information he would have on Konoha and his experiments. Imagine the Konoha crush arc if he had the backing of the Hidden Mist Village! Just the same, he might have caught the Vagura was placed under a genjutsu and either used it to his advantage or just removed it from him early.

TenTen has potential and it's a shame that she never learned kenjutsu. Just imagine TenTen using sword coated with a Fire Release chakra. That would've been much cooler than sending thousands of weapons from scrolls.
I would've liked if Karin were born in Konoha. Then she and Naruto would grow up together.
Mizuki would've also prospered in Hidden Mist given his bloodthirsty and backstabbing nature.
Kakuzu would've prospered in Konoha. I mean he was a talented and dedicated shinobi who returned from a mission to assasinate Hashirama and instead of recognizing his efforts, the Hidden Waterfall imprisoned him. That wouldn't have happened given Konoha's idea of comrades and relying on each other.
Heck, just being able to coat her weapons with elemental release chakra would have made canon TenTen much better.

I mean, Sasuke was using Karin for her super sensor abilities, her healing abilities were just a bonus that Karin offered up like any healer in a ninja team would.
In the mean time, she was also depicted as someone who was pretty much completely amoral, having no qualms with joining Orochimaru and helping him in his monstrous experiments just to chase after Sasuke, and being casually verbally and physically abusive to anyone who wasn't Sasuke. She was basically living all of the negative Sakura stereotypes.
Also, I think that it was implied that she may have taken advantage of Sasuke to some degree or another during their joint time with Orochimaru.

What if Orochimaru could experiment with Hidan? Those two seemed like they were a missed high-five. Orochi leaves Akatsuki right before Hidan joins. Orochi was probably defect from Konoha but never seemed to be near the land of Hot-Water. Orochimaru was sealed while Hidan was being buried. Immortality so close yet so far.

Jirobo fits in perfectly with Hidden Stone. He’s a strong and stout fighter that can absolutely defeat people in Taijutsu most of the time.
Kidomaru fits in with the Hidden Sand, sure he’s a freak but he also knows how to use Chakra threads. Imagine him using them for puppets with that many arms and he can still fire arrows.
Tayuya is hard to place really. If I had to pick one for her it’s Hidden Cloud because the idea of her playing Flute on a Mountain above the Clouds is neat.
Sakon and Ukon probably the Leaf. They could learn quite a bit from the Inuzaka about dual attacks.
Kimimaro also Hidden Leaf. If Tsunade could cure him they have a perfect weapon and if he could use his Kekkai Genkai in conjunction with the gates he would be near unstoppable.
I don't hidan has regeneration because he got decapitated and need kakazu help to reattach it, it didn't grow back or regenerate.
Still, he would survive without a heart but not so sure about the regeneration part.

I had a theory when we got more info on the Uzamaki Kisame was actually a direct descendant of an Uzamaki that either Madara or Obito killed before manipulating his whole life as a side project during the Bloody Mist to try and engineer a powerful disciple for Obito. Big Chakra pools, mysteriously delicious chakra for Samehada, resembled a Shark so maybe Obito actually implanted a part Samehada in his body ala a Jinchurki or the Rinnegan. Tailless Tailed Beast I thought was foreshadowing. Basically, Kisame seems to have just won the genetic lottery to be powerful and had the perfect life to be the only guy Obito trusted. while Obito was manipulating the village he lived in to his specifications. It was coincidence it just sounded like a Kishimoto type reveal and i thought I was big brained. I only bring this up cause Nick was talking about Nagato and it reminded me of it. Great channel keep up the good content.
A Karin born in Konoha would have also maybe learnt to use and control the Kongo Fusa, aka the chakra chains. While it is a characteristic Uzumaki technique and after Kushinas death there wasn't anyone else left alive who can use it, I'm sure some of Kushinas former friends and comerades would've still been able to help Karin master that power.
Imo, this is one of those abilities in the franchise that absolutely deserved better and more exploration. It looks cool as fuck and has a fuck ton of potential. Not only have we seen it doing some serious physical damage (the one and only time Karin used them to destroy the wooden statue), it is also possibly one of the strongest sealing techniques and capable of creating impenetrable barriers.
Even if not taught by Tsunade, even without the Byakugo Seal, even without being Kuramas Jinchuriki, I think Karin just being born in Konoha and being trained in her Uzumaki ways would have made her one of the strongest Shinobi in the village.
It's a shame that we never got to see Kushina fight either. As I said, the chakra chains absolutely deserved better.
