The scariest fact to me is the Itachi we know has a very "chill" temperament as far as Uchiha go. He had next to no personal drive to be stronger or to fight he was simply forced to do so.
Like taking over a family business he was good at, but had no interest in. Imagine if he picked up EMS via someone had killed Sasuke and he became as bloodthirsty battle hungry as Madara.

Okay so idk if there's any proof for this it kinda just came to mind, so what if when a ems is awoken the abilities are fused together, so like Sasukes ametarasu was enhanced by itachi's tsukuyomi and thus he also gained the ability to use ametarasu in both eyes because itachi and Sasuke had different eyes for the same ability, idk just came to mind

In my opinion Itachi is one of the most Unique, Authentic and Influential characters from the series. The thing that people underestimate about Itachi fights/encounters, isn't just his power, (it's mainly writters or Kishimoto's fault for making Itachi seem or to look very powerful throughout the series) but how smart and intelligent he is during various situations, he never, ever underestimates his opponents because of his composure and his way of being, the level of thinking he's on honestly dwars most people in the series, with only people like Minato and Shikaku comparable with him. More precisly, Itachi isn't just any ordinary Shinobi also, he pretty much knows and he's also aware that all strong opponents have weaknesses (including himself), and he specializes in finding those "weaknesses" and exploiting them ("*Even the strongest of opponents always has a weakness*" - Uchiha Itachi) because he's that type of character who can exceed almost any expectations. Itachi is very unique and authentic, especially in the factor of facing various encounters approach, his unpredictability in his way of fighting style approach it's his key factor in all of his encounters. Being blind or nearly blind has never slowed him down (especially when he's pretty much serious, but that's the point, he has never go all out against anyone during the series.) Itachi it's that type of character who can exceed almost any expectations. (at least that's what we were shown in the anime by the creator Masashi Kishimoto). Moral of the story, never underestimate Itachi. He did more sick than most healthy ninjas do in their entire life. In my opinion No One should underestimate such an unpredictable Shinobi like Itachi, even Madara (I won't say that Itachi can beat him, but at least he will be pretty much able to put a decent fight that Madara will also be impressed in my opinion). Also how can some of you guys even consider that Totsuka Blade it's slow when no such speed feat has been shown through the Shippuden that state it that it is slow? All of you are assuming it to be slow it may not be the case... Its not that the sword is unavoidable but it clearly has a very long range and is a very long blade. If you look at the manga, Naruto, Bee and Itachi are all relatively small from Nagato's point of view, and you can see the Totsuka Blade extending all the way from Itachi, piercing through Nagato, and still managing to nearly pop out toward the reader out of the page. I would say its fast because Kabuto coudldn't even react to it, and its not like Nagato was completely immobile to the point that he couldn't sidestep the blade. Also, Kabuto controlling people from far away is never stated to inhibit the Edos' reaction speed in any way. Being controlled by someone thousands of miles away didn't stop the Third Raikage from dodging KCM Naruto's Rasenshuriken. And as for Orochimaru, the sword struck him in between syllables of a word during his speech. I think that that is pretty fast. Pair the Totuska Blade with a good feint and its lethal because its ethereal, meaning it can pierce through any object. If the sword didn't live up to its reputation then Orochimaru wouldn't seek it out. People need to stop downplaying Itachi and denying the very clear speed feats of Totsuka. There is no room for interpretations here. The advantage of being an Uchiha, especially for Itachi and Madara, is that during an encounter against them, they always have a counter because of their unpredictable way of fighting factor, they don't run out of options or techniques, they almost always have a counter in their arsenal, even forbidden jutsus seems irrellevant against them, only a few Uchihas know a certain way to approach the situation with a certain and effective technique, that's why is hard/difficult to fight against them in my opinion. ☯️ 🤷🏻‍♂️ Here are the things that make Itachi so formidable. Tsukuyomi - A genjutsu so powerful that you literally can't escape it unless you have the same blood as Itachi, as stated by Itachi himself and proven later by Sasuke, or you're a jinchuriki. Jinchuriki are supposed to be immune to genjutsu but it hasn't been proven, but when Bee was fighting Edo Nagato and Itachi with Naruto, he said to watch out for Tsukuyomi explicitly. Literally 99% of all opponents fighting Itachi have no way of stopping Tsukuyomi. You could have the power to split the planet in half and it wouldn't matter. (Want to know why? - Kakashi pretty much state it in the actual anime and manga that Tsukuyomi it's such a dangerous Genjutsu Technique because it happen in a instant, even if you realize that you are trapped in the Tsukuyomi, it will be too late, because Itachi could approach you during that time in the real world (or he can use an Explosive Clone to approach you without you even realizing it in time and he can pretty much finish you before you can even realize, - 72 hours in Tsukuyomi realm means 1 second or a couple of seconds in the real world. Tsukuyomi can't be broken, when used to it's fullest.) The Sword of Totsuka and Yata Mirror - The Susanoo itself is a near invincible defense but these two weapons take it to the next step. The Sword of Totsuka can seal "anything" if it even touches it. It's completely OP. It's hard to fight a guy that can seal you away if his sword even touches you. The Yata Mirror is even a bigger deal in my opinion. It doesn't block attacks, it's "negates" them. You could throw an Amaterasu covered Bijuu bomb at Itachi and the Yata mirror will negate it, making it so the Susanoo doesn't even need to take a blow. You could punch the Yata mirror and the force will completely be negated. His biggest strength of all: tactical intelligence - Itachi always outsmarts and plans for everything because the plot demands it. You're physically strong? Itachi is already 2 steps ahead of you knowing exactly what to do. You're extremely fast? Again, 2 steps. You're going to try and outlast Itachi in a fight? Good luck. To add to this, some of the 3 most powerful techniques in the verse are due to his intelligence and planning ability; Izanami, Izanagi, and Kotoamatsukami. Izanami - A forbbiden genjutsu technique that allows you to alter someone's destiny. Impossible to break out of even if you know you're in a genjutsu without complying with the users set destiny for you. Even someone like Bee, a perfect Jinchuriki, can't escape Izanami unless he does what Itachi wants him to. Izanagi - You somehow gained an advantage over Itachi? He makes it so that advantage never happened. Kotoamatsukami - Though Shisui's technique, Itachi has his eye which effectively makes it his weapon. A genjutsu so powerful that the person it's cast on doesn't even know they're under a genjutsu. Like the Tsukuyomi, completely OP. To add to all of this, Itachi is pretty good at hand to hand combat, is great with shuriken, is extremely fast, is great with regular fire techniques, is slippery and unpredictable, and has the extremely dangerous and fast Genjutsu style of fighting approach that can caught you off guard almost at any time. With all of these things considered you've got one dangerous ninja. Lastly but not least Kishimoto made sure that Itachi was seen as someone special and he did an incredible job in establishing that in the story. When Itachi Uchiha awakened his Susano'o, he was seen wielding legendary weapons of the Totsuka Blade and the Yata Mirror. The former allowed Itachi to seal anyone he pierced in a world of genjutsu forever, while the latter gave him the ability to deflect any and all attacks thrown towards him, regardless of whether they were physical or spiritual in nature. According to Zetsu (who was around since the period of Kaguya time era until the present of Naruto) he state it in the anime and also in the manga that these weapons, when combined with his Susano'o, made Itachi Invincible. This is why Kishimoto basically had to give him a handicap: Naruto AIDS. 🤷🏻‍♂️ ☯️

Now I want to add to what you said but first I want to touch a theory nick hammer had which is .
For itachi to be able to great a world so perfect that it can mimic real life itachi would need to understand the universe an he says its easier to create a world where you live out your life which is wrong why Tsukuyomi controls all 5 senses itachi an izumi lived a life time an had a child Itachi created a living organism yea he is god in tsukuyomi but would still need to have the knowledge in order to create things like the scent of hot asphalt that creates Mirage's on a hot day in order to create that you would have to understand the effects of heat on a asphalt surface an refraction of light ect to create a sunset over a lake you would have to understand reflection of light on water itachi had a vast knowledge an understanding if he didn't an created a flat earth then it would fail as that wouldn't hold up even in tsukuyomi you can't be stupid an use tsukuyomi then you would probably be able to use kakashi eye to open kamui dimension in tsukuyomi which makes no sense so if you are dumb an don't understand certain things then how can you use tsukuyomi to create something you don't understand so what I'm trying to say is that itachi intelligence so vast he's able to create almost anything perfectly he was even able to distinguish sage chakra when he met kabuto before saauke an saauke had ems so it goes to show how vast an resource full itachi is he literally created a world an controlled it for 2 people not 1 but 2 people .
Now to add to your point itachi could go in tsukuyomi an use his knowledge on techniques eg. Flying raijin . create simulations an train for every outcome predictable based on how the technique is used an find counters . he literally as a genin taking the chunin exams used the knowledge of how the other genins were cheating an thought of counters an how to beat them based on the abilities they used to cheat doing that in tsukuyomi with the knowledge of how flying raijin is used an he has access to that as he was a anbu with classified information he could study abilities an train to beat it in tsukuyomi ect

There's no sense in mastering Amaterasu and Tsukiyomi in the genjutsu world if your actual MS ability is Kamui. So you'd have to be hit once, awaken the MS, be freed, experiment with the awakened abilities, then go back into Tsukiyomi to practice the abilities.

Like i assume they would need to use it to find out but there are a bunch of issues with that....like not knowing whats going to happen, if you use it for the first time in battle you can do something you didnt intend. Also, shisui would have to had used his power to know what it is and then he would be blind for 10 years but im pretty sure he wasnt old enough to have awakened, used and then recovered his eyes......just seems a little sketchy to me

I will go to sleep some nights and feel like ive lived out several years, decades even, but its not the same.. its like jumping between the pages of a book your reading, you dont want to deal with the hard parts unless its part of the story you like. You can get married, have kids, be successful but most of the time their is no struggle, no concept of 'what if something goes wrong?" and that moment of it going wrong never actually happening. Sometimes I have to go through rough times in those dreams but i feel as though they wouldnt be as hard to deal with if it was in reality

The Knowledge Problem behind the Hypertonic Lion Tamer approach to Tsukuyomi is an absolutely fascinating challenge to me. Basically what it amounts to is Itachi trying to be the author of a story where Naruto learns a lesson and grows stronger (like figuring out some new technique), where the only way to actually see real-world effects is if Naruto can achieve the same realization and power-boost *by only reading the script.*
He can't simply write "Then Naruto learned a valuable lesson", because without living through the experience himself, Naruto can't recreate it after Tsukuyomi ends. But even if he writes out a plausible-seeming pathway towards gaining that power, if he misses just one key detail, it basically amounts to a plot hole, and trying to recreate those steps in reality would fail due to incomplete or inaccurate information. It's like trying to write a novel that doubles as a WikiHow, all without actually knowing how to do the task yourself in the first place. Really shows just how insane a task it really is in practice.

This is a comment I made in another thread:
This doesn't mean that he can transfer knowledge he doesn't have. The fabricated situations can lack realistic details up to a certain level of precision, the person inside the genjutsu might become easier to fool (just like we typically don't realise we are dreaming), and creating a representation of something to fool someone (a simulacrum) doesn't require to replicate all of the information of the real thing.
Even if someone can reinforce a skill by remembering what it felt like to practice that skill, developing the rasenshuriken from the rasengan is more than just reinforcement, it requires to learn novel things by trial-and-error in the world
Although it is a good point, even if we assume the Tsukuyomi can't produce novel knowledge, it can trigger reinforcement based on the experiences of the caster and probably also on those of the victim.

@@didack1419 "the person inside the genjutsu might become easier to fool (just like we typically don't realise we are dreaming)"
This rings very true for me. A while back I had developed a way I could tell I wasn't dreaming (just for fun, as a thought experiment), involving paying very close attention to details on things, like the rough texture of my wall. If I could just stop what I was doing and stare at a wall and see all sorts of clarity, I was pretty much safe to conclude I was truly awake.
Then I had a dream where I got arrested for some offscreen crime, and as I was being carried off in handcuffs, I had the thought to try my little dream-detector trick. I decided that yes, I was really awake, that's not good.....and then I woke up not too long after.
But I hadn't actually done the trick properly. I never actually saw or focused on any level of detail. I just skipped from step 1 to 3, having the idea to check, and then concluding that I was awake. I was, as you say, easier to fool while in that state.
Thought it might be neat for you to see that there's direct evidence you're correct :D

@@riluna3695 (the idea that the person inside the Tsukuyomi thinks the situation they are living is reality itself is mentioned already in the video.)
That's interesting, I saw that thing of skipping steps being referenced once to explain why some people have apparently felt like they experienced a lot of time in the dream, to the point of feeling like they have had a separate lifetime there.
The account was of a real person that said they had experienced a dream in which at some point inside their dream they were suddenly told by a character on said dream that they were in fact dreaming, even though they didn't believe it themselves (!), and then to deny that they apparently tried to remember their past of said dream, at waking up it seems that they actually had the sensation that they indeed have remembered a separate lifetime of experiences.
It's also interesting that the self was experiencing a dream but all of the sudden there was, seemingly, another part of their brains telling them that they were sleeping, something that they didn't know. Maybe/probably it wasn't another part of the brain being aware of the fact that the self was sleeping, and it's just a coincidence, but it's an interesting thought.

@@didack1419 Sounds a bit familiar. I've noticed that dreams can provide inherent understanding. Without any context clues or past experiences to go off of, you just KNOW a thing. While extreme, I would imagine "I've had an entire life of experiences" could qualify as that, especially if they can't actually remember more than a couple things FROM that life, if even any.
I woke up from a dream once, years and years ago, and was astounded at the fact that I'd had that exact same dream once before, but I couldn't remember anything more than that. For years I thought I had had that dream twice and just mostly forgotten, until finally I had a completely different, and definitively NEW dream, wherein I knew for a fact that I'd had that same dream before. That broke the illusion and allowed me to see that "I've had this dream before" was PART of the dream, and was an untrue statement.
Basically, the human brain is friggin' WEIRD, and it can outright lie to you at times, especially when it comes to dreams. And those lies can feel real and stick around for years.

This is why Kishimoto old ideas on how Madara was going to be beaten, one of them was with the aid of Itachi and know that one ability of his, yeah. Who can say otherwise on if could honestly work.
Hell, it's easily a good explanation why Obito never tried to kill Itachi, maybe isn't entirely because he fears him, but the mixture of that and the practicality on killing him and what will be his loses afterwards. Because remember when Obito was in a specialized Genjustu and saw Itachi there, he says this, "No matter where I go, you're always a problem to me." Only to him. That legitimately means Itachi is arguably one of the few people Obito always had to think to work around Itachi's objectives.
That's why he never talked to Sasuke even while hidden, because Itachi will always know and will do something about it and Obito knows this, he can't risk having Itachi going after him.

Itachi's tsukiyomi already implies cause and effect, as long as it's realistic. You get the answer pretty quickly, when he puts Izumi under it. The story goes that they live a happy life, have a family and grow old together. Yet "it knows" the complexity that is reproduction. Sure, you could chalk that up to he knows how and where babies come from, but the background is something thats also completely frabicated. While yes hes understands the fundamentals, he's not planning out every minute detail in her tsukiyomi. Just the story the tsukiyomi knows the rest. So therefore, to train, all he would need to know is what youre trying to do, demostrate it, and what you want changed. We know that naruto chakra nature is wind, and he has many different variations of the rasengan. So, for it to work Itachi literally only needs to think of the trainign routine and him attempting to apply wind nature to it until he actually gets it right,if naruto wants any shape transformation added to it beforehand it also must be relayed.
His tsukiyomi also operates on the same principal that the shadow clones do. It's the reason he learned rasenshuriken and a wind style rasengan to begin with. cause the knowledge they obtained is transfered back to them. A genjutsu works by disrubting chakra flow but chakra flow doesnt effect memory or any other parts of the body. the brain does. ITS ALSO a real thing where you trick your brain into believeing something is happening, and IT WILL replicate symptoms. So if he makes them learn something itll register in the brain it will form those connections as if had physically done it

Random thought but before Kurama died why wasn't Naruto a Juubi Jinchuriki. Like of course the buff wouldn't be as strong was when Madara became the Juubi Jinchuriki but he could have still gotten an extra buff equal to when Obito became the Juubi Jinchuriki. I mean in boruto we see Jigen with a baby ten tails so why didn't the small parts of each tailed beast plus Kurama make a ten tailed beast? Maybe even the powers of all the other tailed beasts get absorbed by Kurama and give him an extra tail. Maybe I missed something but I feel like there is no reason this shouldn't have happened.

    • @joelsasmad

The other tailed beasts are only the chakra of the Ten tails. The Gedo statue is it's body and Madara/Obito were only able to become it jinchuruki after returning the chakra to the body.
I can't remember if this is confirmed but I believe combining the chakra of all the tailed beasts is another way to obtain the chakra of the sage of Six Paths besides combining Indra and Asura. This I believe is part of why Naruto meets the sage before his resurrection, while Saskue receives an infusion of Hashirama cells and thus Asura's chakra to reach the same.

True he cannot improve himself physically and using it to quickly develop a new jutsu would be very questionable (he could at least use this time to theorize a new jutsu). He could however use it to train others in jutsu, fighting, and other knowledge that he is well versed in...and this is Itachi we are talking about...
I imagine Itachi being a teacher at the Ninja Academy and training the new students using Tsukuyomi. All the fundamentals of ninja training could be taught in seconds, with the remainder of the time building up physical performance, and having the students demonstrate what they have learned to ensure they can perform these jutsus in the real world. This would drastically increase the physical and spiritual chakra, battle IQ, and overall capabilities of graduates. This in turn would increase survivability of the Leaf's Genin and allow the Jonin of the teams to start training them on higher level jutsus much earlier.
The Leaf would likley become unstoppable churning out jonin level ninjas faster than most other villages would be developing chunin.

He knows about people who can gather nature chakra from the air, he knows almost everything about it but hasn't actually done the training himself. It would make more sense if Sasuke had activated his sharingan when Itachi used Tsukiyomi on him. I mean, the guy saw his family cut down for days. How much stronger the emotional impact could be? If that didn’t happen, then EMS shouldn’t happen either. But, then, why it did not happen, i don’t know.

If this is true, then I'd argue that Itachi' Tsukuyomi is a *Yin-Yang Release styled Getjutsu that incorporates Space and Time.
It's the only way you can explain the Tsukuyomi' area of effect, actual affects to the target and where the jutsu takes place. Itachi transports you to the Tsukuyomi pocket dimension, then he is free to do whatever he wants to to whomever. He basically becomes god in that dimension and it's crazy.

Imagine if itachi trained naruto in regular hand to hand combat. Narutos basic combo of 1000 clones then slingshot themsleves at the enemy and hope something hits is a waste of chakra. Every fight, clones never land a hit. If naruto learned hand to hand combat at itach's level, then each clone would be so much more powerful. Since this isnt a physical feat, it should work. Recognizing attacks, using counter attacks and dodging, learning vital spots and learning combo attack, setting up a combo. All mental and thinking. Plus cause and effect is easy since itachi trained himself

For the training in genjutsu theory, it has been proven true by Madara Uchiha. In his old age, Madara used genjutsu to train Obito for years in the illusion world while in the real world, only a few months had passed by. Afterwards, Obito fought on such a scale that he not only competed with the Minato, but had the world believe that he was Madara due to his level of skill.
As for the MS theory, I believe it is also true to awaken the MS through genjutsu alone. You just have to have the one affected believe it is real long enough for them to awaken the MS and then afterwards you can let them know it was all fake. After that the genie is out of the bottle and it's not going back in.
Even though it wasn't canon and if I'm not mistaken, I think it was Tsunade's Infinite Tsukuyomi Dream where this happened, Sasuke clashed with Naruto on a roof top and Itachi blocked Sasuke's attack with his body, which Sasuke believed that he had killed him, thus awakening his MS, but then later on we find out that Itachi used genjutsu, so Sasuke had now awakened MS and Itachi was still alive.

The neurological aspects of Tsukuyomi and by in large genjutsu are quite impressive. To control someone's 5 senses, a genjutsu user must keep 5 specific regions of the brain 🧠 in perfect homeostasis: occipital cortex (sight), temporal association areas (hearing), olfactory bulb (smell), gustatory cortex (taste), parietal lobe (touch). However, it's more important for the genjutsu user not to disrupt the victim's biological processes. Maintaining control of the hypothalamus, medulla complex, and parasympathetic/sympathetic nervous system is more important. Didn't mean to do a deep dive on this. Awesome content.

I think something to consider is that while awakening the ms is definitely possible the scenario for training in a manner of speaking is also possible but not for physical things, spiritual or mental training would be. So i deposit that it would be possible to use tsukiyomi to condense a lifetime of academic type training in a milisecond. Imagine if you could do that for an entire army teaching battle tactics, strategy, critical thinking, theory, etc. So then that entire army already knowing all these gets psychical training theory out of the way. With knowledge on how they could apply it.

Well in summary I think its only a REALISTIC Conversation if we've got E.M.S. Ītāchí as the person and ALSO Different Conditions to Sásūké's awakening like the one suggested which WOULD Basically cause creation of an Ability that Needs to Operate around a Sense of Revelatory self sacrificial uses of one's eyes to change the world for a purpose related to a Failure or Inability or Betrayal with complex effects on one's evolution of the eyes... It's complex and the level to which it isnt explored is likely to prevent making the entire narrative in a situation where the Ūchíhà are literal DemiGods, functionally... that just go blind real fast... which... it hurts the main characer's presence where his contrarian power is the Theoretical Body of Powers of the Sage instead of his Eyes, which means that the unification of them was Meant for Índrâ's Eyes if he had United with His Brother in BEING FRIENDS WITH TAILED BEASTS or something along those lines... which are a Reimagined GoodGuy variant of 1 Gigantic Ôtsútsūkí Monster that is ALSO Kinda His Mum... or something.... because of the Karma being Body Sized Somehow which... I mean it was seperated from Her so long it was like a compilation of Greedy or Weak Humans and well throught out but horrible plans for the world, etc. like even altering what's written on the special MagicalEyeball-Secrets Tablet and god knows what else... MOST Effective Kármâ seal EVER! Seemed capable of actively willfully overpowering others by choice with unknown limitations and capabilities....
But Man if the dude had Sásūké's eyes and whatnot and they each had Eachothers Eyes with the Foundation of their Original Eyes... Well Good God would Ītāchí be SCARIER than Sásūké ever could be... unless He ALSO Trained Him how to Use Tsūkūyômí like his Brother BUT NOW Without Loss of.....
    WELL...
Actually It MIGHT Still Cost LifeForce if One Isnt ABSORBING More LifeForce with their Rínnégán which... feels easy...
I wonder now whether or Not Making Sákūrâ believe he's killed her so she's passed out UNTIL He Simply Releases the Gènjútsū remotely isn't ALMOST an Imitation of what his Brother did to Ízūmí... cause it's like he chose a Non Lethal Version that was QUICKER maybe BECAUSE of Finding the TIME Experiencing these things was TOO CRUEL and Thusly what makes him Go for SPEEDY Combat Action instead of Slow Steady Personal Destruction of a Target the way his Brother is like a Slow Motion Assassin with a vibe where he's Not Acknowledging How he COULD Do a NUMBER of Far More Complex things like the Friendlier Chats he has with Nárūtō but Maybe Kíshímôtō wasn't as Set on having him Basically Be the BETTER Peaceful Reincarnation of Mádàrâ that's learnt a Lesson so that the Nature of Índrâ must emerge in his Brother, since he's got his Eyes now... butMAYBE the Dude COULD HAVE Saved the World WAY Faster and Been Hōkágé if ANY Number of Rínnégán Wielders used commandeered Enemy lives to Fuel Returning Life to Himself and Healing Himself in whatever ways... But man... Imagine if he Had Study of ANY Forms of Sènjútsū... That'd be TERRIFYING if you gave him something like Slug Snake or Toad Sènjútsū though it might be something they'd be scared about teaching him... I do wonder if Nárūtō had lent him Chákrâ or anything related to having Chákrâ connections to the Tailed Beasts... then Maybe he'd have also gotten a Rínnégán variant of Tsúkūyômí and who knows whether or Not that's meant to STILL Cause Real Life Effects or JUST DreamTime Effects... Since it isnt CONTROLLED Entirely By the Caster Directly at Cost to them... But instead more like Influencing what their Dreams SHOULD Generally be Relative to their Mind and then Being Distracted with this Until all your Chákrâ has been Taken and Given to the Tree Ritualistically...
Man Spooky Complex Ninja Eye Powers REALLY Need better Exploration and so on...
and Will Sáràdâ still get E.M.S. from Father's Original Eyeballs that are Saved? and Will that mean she has Variants of Just Sásūké's Original Powers in addition to her own which MAY be Related to Something her Uncle WROTE over to Force Awakening of what MIGHT Be 4 Abilities for which Use of Depends on Familiarity and Knowledge of How a Technique works and whether or not they feel the Need to Use it... and Sásūké is ONLY Less Cruel in his Uses of Gènjútsū or he'd have made the MOST Horrifying things imaginable happen to EVERYONE Else since getting E.M.S. but maybe its the TORTURE with the "drunken Dreams" scenario which makes Sásūké ACTUALLY Despise this TYPE of Use of Psychological Warfare Gènjùtsū with Personal Tortures constructed from a genius level overanalysis of everything about someone before turning it all on them within their head to Whatever Level he finds appropriate... which is why He TRIES to go simple on Kàkáshí but MAN did that Maybe make it worse! and is that Just Ītāchí having some level of far too High Functioning autism spectrum Ultra Genius Vibes or DOES He Just FORGET What it's Like to Endure such Torments over Extended Periods BECAUSE His Life is the WORST Possible Forced Betrayal Eternally Tormenting his Soul which he needs to Manage whilst it KILLS HIM...
It's a Heavy Narrative and MAYBE the MOST Compelling...
If there was ANY Show I'd wanna watch they Could Do it'd be a Tragic LoveStory of JUST the 60-80 year long Gènjùtsū he Gave his Intended Wife so they could STILL Have the Life they Wished for In SOME Form before He ERASES Their Own BETTER Future... which... man I can't even imagine how wild it could get if he's capable of having Nightmares still about stuff he'd have to do in the future or Maybe such things slip into what the Enemy of the Village Does to other Ninjas so they can do stuff he WISHES He could do... which might be stuff he memorised from Bingo Books and famous stories and who knows what else...
I bet Shísūí let him experience a bit of Gènjútsū strategy etc. with after thoughts like "and now imagine if I had made X into the people that Y happened to..." Since so many are centred around Illusions, focusing on CONTROLLING Dreams of other Living Beings through messing with their Yín chákrâ or whatever Must be capable of going some scary directions.... like making Insects eat someone's whole body paralysing them whilst slowly burning them with flames that will leave no trace of their existence behind... THAT is.... well actually WHY Can't that be Used on ANYONE Summoned with Èdō Tènséī that doesnt have Rínnégán or mastery of numerous Sealing Jútsū? It should be capable of functionaling Erasing a LOT of People...
and man it's lucky Obito never figured out Just STEALING Chákrâ from Everyone like Nágàtō seemed pretty easily capable of....
But then a Lot of the arc gets way more complicated...
I do wonder about Līmbō Clones though... is it Just Yín Release variants of Himself or some kinda Inverted Chákrâ WoodClones that only Lack Physical Existence theoretically but Exist theoretically OR should they be Invincible and no effect on Him which is why Substituting with such a Clone is So Dangerous and makes him Nearly Invincible... dang now I'm makin my own head hurt imagining far too many things which will hurt more in a second hehe : D Gènjùtsū control is ALSO Dangerous for the Caster when its more Complex which I don't think Ītāchí ever WOULD cast one that he didnt setup such a particular way without chance of messing up SOMETHING he's worried about... He's complex and forced into far too complex a position for someone with his particular powers...
I do wonder if Sáràdâ's M.S. hasn't felt overly built up so it'd be nearly impossible to impress anyone or it'll have powers on that Level of BOTH Brothers since she's an Only Child and only knows a SMALL amount about her own Father's Eyes capabilities... I guess ONLY the Tsūkūyômí Eye has Been Destroyed in the Story and it was a bloody Rínnégán at the End for Controlling Chákrâ etc. which... man dude could use MINIMAL Sènjùtsū control training in all the forms to best learn to wield them together... then he'd probably Regrow things and heal things and alter Physical Age and Others' lifeforce and all kindsa wild stuff if he got Slug Snake and Toad Sage Powers controlled by his Eyes, etc. which MAY Be Learnable from SIMPLY Watching the Animals Do their Thing and then Copying with Sháríngán shenanigans....
But man E.M.S. Ītāchí feels like something SCARY in comparison to even that.. cause Six Paths Nárūtō could've Probably shared Tailed beast Chákrâ with him and made him awaken a Rínnégán Properly or something which Sásūké Lacked the Sage Teachings on Being more like Animals etc. bloody Hawk Sage or something? Who knows... Usualy just "Hey Jugo can you give me that special chákrâ for hurting ninja alien people level folks? Thanks!" or whatever....
Man could these characters have gotten WAY Scarier with how they learnt to use all these powers...
But I bet Ītāchí with E.M.S. MAYBE can Even Take Mádàrâ if RínnéRebirthed or doing some Clone shenanigans to double one's available chákrâ to their Normal Living Levels or somehting... which is what I think Mádàrâ did with the Double Sūsànôō into Heaven Concealed or whatever... The Double Meteor Trick... you know the one I'm talking about ha : D
Man anyone think I'm overestimating the capabilities OR Barely even beginning to theoretically generate possibilities of How one could've used such powers?
I think Nick's got the Right Idea in HOW FAR some of these abilities MIGHt Be capable of Going if WILLING to Pay the Price for it... But with Rínnégán? Then you really do Have Infinite Tsūkūyômí functionally though Mádàrâ doesnt do one that costs oneself Everything... Probably a better Idea... hehe

the main benifit to training in the tsukiomi universe would be mental training and tactics, itachi could mentor naruto on battle tactics and show what could happen if certain choices are made, i dont think it would function as a we both get stronger button, more so a catch up mechanic for someone lacking in battle knowledge or so to learn it. the difference in affectiveness a person has on a battle field is greatly affected by battle knowledge and itachi has tons of that, he is a tactical genius so he could likely train someone like naruto to better understand combat and how to be effective. best way i can kind of give an example of how that could work is: lets say itachi is a pro gamer at a shooter game, and naruto is bottom tier trash at the game, itachi could teach naruto the fundamentals of the game like getting behind cover and knowing when to use super moves and what to do in certain situations, the meta and such, and while naruto may not come out with the reflexes to pull off top tier play he would likely atleast move up to being a mid tier or higher player instead of being bottom rung and running into bullets headfirst

NICK please think this one over. It might change your mind about brothers obtaining EMS.
I disagree with your statement saying that brothers couldn't just swap their MS eyes and both of them obtain the EMS. I think it actually could be possible.. the first reason being we've never seen it attempted.
In madara's circumstance he took his Brother's eyes forcibly because he was totally blind from over using his own MS, and his brother was dying . Marada was greedy and power hungry. But he thought he would get a small amount of sight back.. but it went better than he had hoped for. He awoke EMS pretty much accidentally.. he knew his brother was also going blind, but because his brother wasn't totally blind he tooke the eyes to get his brothers remaining sight. So I don't think awakening EMS was intentional. Otherwise why didnt he take the eyes earlier. if they would have known about EMS before, i believe they absolutly would have tried a swap. Either they would both awaken it, or only one of them would have, either way Marada could still have stolen them or taken them whike his brother was dying. It wasnt written this way because 2 EMS users would have clapped the cheeks of the senju clan. And the story wouldnt have played out like it did.
In the 2nd senerio, itachi and sauske fought their last battle before sauske even awakened his MS.. So itachi never had the chance to swap.. PLUS Itachi knew he was dying and basically planted the idea into sauske to take his eyes after their battle. Itachi may have known about EMS but never planned to follow through with taking sauske's eyes. Doing so wasn't going to cure him, he always wanted sauske to kill him. He always wanted sauske to take his eyes.
So back to the original argument. What is stopping brothers from MS swapping? When you emplant new eyes, you exchange your original MS for another pair. And sense sauske isnt walking around with 4 eyes on his face, he had to have discarded his original eyes. Yes i agree that 4 eyes are required to unlock it, but he still throws away his original pair of MS. Also sense It doesnt matter how blind the doner eyes are, it works.. your sibling could swap with you no matter how damaged. We know the sharingan eyes dont lose their abilitys if they are taken out while the user is alive, we saw it with obito and kakashi. the abandoned eyes are still MS, and if preserved or implanted what is stopping this from unlocking EMS in a sibling. How dont you see this working?
*side rant.. What's stopping sarada from getting her fathers original eyes, if they were preserved.. couldnt sarada get EMS?? This is a theroy ive seen floating around, but it reinforces my theroy.. and even if it never happens obito was a freak with hundreds of sharingan, so him saving sauske's eyes is not out of the question. Im 100% sure he did we just may never see them. However in this senerio wouldn't Sarada theoretically awaken EMS now that shes awakened her MS?* anyways back to the topic.
All of this leads me to believe the 4 eye spirit thing that pops up when itachi says sauske has his spare eyes, and when sauske awakens his EMS, shows 2 things. 1. the pair of eyes that are already there are representing the MS awoken by the user, and 2. the empty sockets represent the MS that areneeded and eventually exchanged or acquired. Soooo theoretically with all this in mind, i dont see why brothers couldnt unlock EMS via a MS swap? I mean we haven't seen it tried, and it's not specifically stated to not work... it just didnt happen that way in the story, but I believe its absolutely doable. OP as heck, and probably enough to break the story which is why we will never see it. But doable.
Seperate comment: Perhaps I missed it, so could you please tell me where or when it says the swap has to happen with an MS user who is also blood related? I thought this was an assumption people had because It just so happens that the only people confirmed to be EMS wielders got them from siblings. I just don't remember it being stated that way. I'm probably wrong. But it doesn't hurt to verify.
THANKS FOR ALL THE WONDERFUL CONTENT NICK!
