It’s Karamo that pisses me off the most here. Where was the actual journalism? They blatantly went easy on Chef Pii and as soon as alluredbeauty walked in they were lunging at her. Personally I’m not too worried about the sauce being on shelves since no professional retailer would allow sauce/food that isn’t properly tested to be put on their shelves. But Chef Pii’s whole attitude is what bothers me, along with the show’s blatant favoritism and shoddy attempt at journalism.

The audience was likely directed to respond a certain way at specific moments, as that is what they do for talk show recordings. They have a stage manager and electronic signs signaling the audience behind the cameras and they give the audience directions to follow. Which, imo, makes the people who put that show out even more horrible.

Being in therapy for sometime, I was taught/told to never use the word "but," and "however" because it just negates everything I said beforehand.
So far, all I hear coming from Chef Pii are those words, exactly.
I only use it on essays to make it longer.
As a chef myself, that woman is no near being a chef. We have to be EXTREMELY careful with food, due to crossed contaminations,etc. If a food is contaminated, we instantly throw it away. Nothing goes to the costumer without 100% sure it's safe to eat. If she gets mad someone is calling out her non-safe food, she isn't a chef.

Many people who cooks didnt even know the fact that onions absorbs so much bacteria that when left chopped up for a long time... It can cause food poisoning... And I only learned that from my brother who studied culinary arts... Because I always assist him on cooking big feasts... Like on Christmas and New Years... Or just when he felt like it.

No her sauce really isn't, there's naturally pink fruity sauces all over already and atleast one I've known about for atleast 20 years now so ots not new or special at all.

Y'all should watch Ann Readon's take & recreation of the pink sauce. She explains how botulism is never a worry, how Chef P can technically call herself a chef despite having no professional education, and how she completely recreated the pink sauce without using mayo or egg.
Ann’s video was very fair and unbiased, and I commend her for it. That being said, one of the items she talked about was ‘was Chef Pii unprofessional in behaviour?’, and I think we can agree that she was. The Karamo show was an absolute joke for being super biased and unfair, and Alle has conducted herself very well - there was nothing wrong in wanting to investigate the sauce further.

I will say though, that the sauce spoiling so fast or coming so spoiled that it had exploded was worrying. Could’ve just been the heatwave, or could’ve been contamination of something else from Pii not using proper cleaning for her equipment. I know vinegar and everything makes it safer and so botulism would never be a worry because of it, but also I found mold growing in pickle juice that was about 2 months away from being expired. And pickles and pickle juice take a long time to go bad
Did she review the original sauce or the "fixed" one? That makes a difference.

I won't be supporting the pink sauce but there are definitely people who will go crazy for this or curious to try it out; which will still give her the money. The episode is essentially pipi chef not making any sense, implying she stalked allured beauty’s page but never reached out to her after admitting seeing the video where allured beauty found glitter in the sauce, yet said before allured beauty walked in that she reached out to every customer having issues with the sauce.. and allured beauty being super knowledgeable about the food process and pipi chef just blatantly ignoring it along with karamo and just decided to turn condescending and gaslighty. and then how painfully obvious it is that karamo did NOT research before having either of them on. what a dumpster fire 😂

People need to understand that companies are useless when they have no consumers. Yes, this girl is sketch but what about the people who buy it? Whether they’re making content, “trying it out” or wanting to make a bad review, there still giving her money to make more and expand the Pink Sauce. If people stopped buying it, she wouldn’t be able to sell it. Consumers have a responsibility too, and I’m tired of all the blame being shifted on the other side.

I highly recommend you watch How To Cook That's video on the pink sauce. She is able to recreate the pink sauce using all the ingredients listed on the bottle and addresses the possible botulism. I think the info from the video is pretty useful

Soooo... if you really want to eat a sauce that is Pink and be safe, you can take a look at a belgian sauce call "Sauce Riche" it's Pink from beet and commonly eat with French fries here. Totaly safe and totaly normal here to eat a Pink sauce

omg I saw this and it reminded me of the How to Cook That video that was uploaded around a week ago where Ann also reviewed the different food health related aspects of the pink sauce! It's nice to see people raising awareness and reporting on the issue from a relatively neutral perspective!!
Honestly, the talk show really did Alle dirty. I mean, she wasn't the only one making a review on TikTok? Karamo has not (and probably won't ever) apologize for that whole fiasco. If he preaches accountability, maybe he should take his own advice. At least Chef Pii apologized to the woman; whether or not anyone thinks it's sincere is up to them. Oh, and if anybody is, to a slight degree, brave enough to try the improved Pink Sauce in the future, good luck with it!
It selling out doesn't mean much. It could be that they just didn't produce very much, so they sold out quickly. I think companies do that a lot to create a sense of demand (and FOMO) whether there actually is any or not.

I'm Scotland we've had pink sauce for as long as I can remember, and I'm 33. It's mayonnaise, tomatoe sauce and other things. Good on chicken and chips. Different places do it different ways but it all goes with the same name.

I've never tried pink sauce, but in my opinion, it should be something with a recipe online that you make yourself. Sure, it's coming in stores now, but when it was purchased online- well... (Also, I feel like it's a bit overpriced if it's $20 a bottle.)
