At the end the girl said a fruity vinaigrette. So in my mind it’s like raspberry vinaigrette that you put on a spinach salad with strawberries, grapes, nuts and goat cheese. Thousand island is on a Big Mac. If she’s turning thousand island pink, everyone who puts that pink crap in their mouth deserves to sue her a$$! 😂😂
Honestly, really disappointing that even with a legitimate company making her sauce, she STILL uses her homemade version at home, and uses THAT to promote her product. When they aren't the same product side by side. It's shady, it's lying, its sad. How she handled the backlash as well was extremely disappointing.
The fact that she had a shady product, got called out and a company stepped in to help her out and yet she still continues to show herself carrying around a heavily pink food dyed bottle of bright pink sauce while people purchase it, and it’s a tanish brownish color…she should just stop. She got caught and called out, a company stepped in to help, and she continues to show herself using the “sauce” negatively. As in, her bottle is a different color, she’s obviously tampering with it or just dumping it and adding her own sauce. I would be supportive of the company that saved my butt and be sure to be showing that product.
I’m not trusting no one that calls themselves a “chef” and then only tries their “special secret sauce” on Burger King and food from other restaurants 😂😭🤣 ain’t see her make one thing with that sauce
You can call yourself a chef while having never gone to culinary school or working as a chef... there are no regulatory bodies that will prevent you :P I worked as an actual chef at a restaurant in college and I had no prior experience. It wasn't an amazing restaurant and imo the food was sub par and the recipes we used were more about saving time and money rather than taste (it was not my decision to make; I would've loved to revamp the menu). But anyways I could call myself a chef if I wanted to. But my skills are more inline with a home cook rather than a professional chef. Perhaps she had a similar experience.
@@marzipanmango a chef is a trained professional with either a culinary degree or experience working under another trained professional, somehow I doubt that was your case
in my country, we call pink sauce to the mix of tomato sauce and cream or white sauce. which honestly looks better in color than what's she's selling lol.
It’s also now gluten free and vegan, so no more dairy so yea the formula has completely changed, the original also said honey and so that’s also removed.
It's good that there's a company behind it now that can make them safe to consume, but if the sauce isn't actually pink, no one is going to care about the sauce. it could be a good sauce and maybe it'll do well based on that, but the only reason it got attention was for its color (probably just because it can make for some content for creators to talk about) and it not being pink anymore takes out the only thing that was interesting about it. Also the creator seemed like she had a terrible attitude towards criticism so hopefully she's at least learning how to act professional now.
food theory actually deconstructed the sauce and made it at home. it’s mostly mayo, ranch, a bit of spice, and dragonfruit to give it its neon pink color. dragonfruit is super expensive per fruit and they figured out you could make it cheaper and the same color with a dragonfruit powder instead
Wasn't the whole selling point of the product the pink color of the sauce? It made people curious and intrigued as to what such a sauce in that color could taste like but now it's just as basic as every other sauce on the market. No pink color kind of equals no point in buying a "pink sauce."
With how everything has been handled, I can't say I'm jumping to buy a bottle. I don't wish ill on Chef Pi, especially since I know how hard it is to be an independent maker of anything, but you can't play with people's well being like that and blame customers like she did. And her still seemingly using the old sauce or a hardcore filter feels like false advertising. We'll see how things go and if things turn around for the better, but Chef Pi needs to come to understand her brand and name has been damaged and that won't just fix itself overnight.
My theory is The very first video where it looks magenta was just dyed ranch or some thing. And when they started asking questions and she lied about it being all natural or whatever it kind of snowballed that’s why the color and the texture is so different every time cause she was testing recipes trying to make it look like it originally was but she can’t because it was a lie
Ugh gross… my husband and i are in agreement never will we ever try this sauce even now that it is regulated. I just dont want this lady thinking its okay to not practice basic FDA regulations and then turn around and sell the sauce. Honestly i hope it fails..
It’s so annoying that she calls herself a chef but has no real culinary training, from what I can find anyway. She’s just a home cook calling herself a chef. Which is why she had no idea about the FDA regulations and guidelines, allergen information or anything.
I wouldn't buy the sauce not only because it just looks gross, but all the controversy and BS that Chef P brought left a bad taste in my mouth. I can't support her, she's a bully with a bad attitude.
I thought for sure they would fix the color. I thought that was the entire selling point? I’m a pink girly. If I saw a bottle of bright pink sauce in a grocery store, I’d buy it immediately. I don’t even care what it taste likes. I don’t understand how they could mess this up at every turn.
"Raspberry balsamic vinaigrette" is way better than "just like ranch" like everyone else is saying. She's her best reviewer, not her worst even though Pii and that talk show host treated her like s***.
I’d be really surprised if this was a success. She already pretty much destroyed her reputation, she’s still making this worse by advertising something really bright pink in the videos when the real sauce is actually like a brown color. She needs to let it go, her 15 minutes of fame is over 🙄
Every time a see news about this sauce it has changed completely lol the color, label, and bottle always look different. Honestly, by the way she has handled her business and the critics I would never buy it even If people told me it's the best sauce in the market.
Gordon Ramsay himself could provide a glowing, 5-star review and I'd still never give it a try. The way she handles criticism tells me she's not cut out for her line of work. She needs a thicker skin, and her treatment of Ally on the Karamo Show speaks volumes- I'm not supporting someone like that. She doesn't deserve a cent from me
It seems like the color varies depending on what color the dragon fruit they get is it's probably yellow when the dragon fruit is white and then pink when the dragon fruit is red if they're going that route
I’m sorry, but after the karamo show, there’s no going back for me. Karamo never apologized and chef pie just did it because she wants to sell her product, not because she feels sorry
Anyone interested in how the pink sauce is made and debunking internet myths, I highly recommend watching How To Cook That (Ann Reardon)'s latest video. She's a qualified food scientist and dietician, she's fantastic.
Agree on this! It was very enlightening. Frankly after that I dont think she's doing it maliciously but bec she's untrained in a lot of aspects in food business.
So…the draw was the fact that it was bright pink. I’m assuming it’s better for shelf stability, but the whole marketing strategy was the color and now it’s not, it should have a completely different name. That said, no shade to the new company, I’m sure they put out a safe and tasty product, but on principle alone, I will not be buying. There’s enough people who have provided dupe recipes out there I’d rather just make it on my own if I feel so inclined.
Girl probably dipped the chicken in pink colored ranch (you can get those bright pinks via powdered dragonfruit and other food colorants on Amazon) and then when the video went viral, she scrambled to make a recipe that she could capitalize on and that's why the color has been so different since the first version. She even could have dipped the chicken in something completely not edible and used the magic of video editing/spitting it out off camera just to get views. Original sauce looks like paint. XD
It’s clear to me that the sauce company just bought the rights to the name. She probably made some good money for it. I suppose they took the dragon fruit aspect of it and ran with it but you can tell there made a completely different sauce not just based on the color, but in general.
I dont understand the hype around this sauce. It looks absolutely disgusting

@@perryrhinitis really?! I’ve only ever seen it orange or extremely yellow. Where are y’all from? Just curious.
Amen to that
@@mickaaylaKeagle Australia 😁
Honestly, really disappointing that even with a legitimate company making her sauce, she STILL uses her homemade version at home, and uses THAT to promote her product. When they aren't the same product side by side. It's shady, it's lying, its sad. How she handled the backlash as well was extremely disappointing.
I’m a simple person, I see the drama and I click
I wonder if she sent an extra yellow bottle to Ally on purpose because inside she’s still salty over her original review…😕
why does the color vary either way?! lol
@El Probably right. Still unfortunate that it’s not as pink anymore. Now it’s just “sauce”
I wanna say that chef pi didn't send the bottle but the daves brand did for a better image of the sauce. PI isn't smart enough to do anything right.
Dave's Gourmet literally rescued the business side of the Pink sauce for Chef Pii. Dave's Gourmet is a huge blessing for her and her brand
She don't deserve a brand, and all the sales will be purely for review purposes 🤣😂
Soooo, has Karamo apologized?
No he hasn't.
Nope he just deleted the video
nope and i lost any respect i had for him for that episode. man can't even own up when he was wrong and didn't do his research
@Devils' Advocate your username checks out.
No and I dont think he ever will , narcissist like him never like to admit thier wrong
I've only read the title and I'm already terrified
The fact that she had a shady product, got called out and a company stepped in to help her out and yet she still continues to show herself carrying around a heavily pink food dyed bottle of bright pink sauce while people purchase it, and it’s a tanish brownish color…she should just stop. She got caught and called out, a company stepped in to help, and she continues to show herself using the “sauce” negatively. As in, her bottle is a different color, she’s obviously tampering with it or just dumping it and adding her own sauce. I would be supportive of the company that saved my butt and be sure to be showing that product.
She's still digging her own grave to this day with her sauce.😂🤦♀️ You're right, she really needs to stop but I highly doubt that she ever will.😕
The amount of time I have spent at this point keeping up with drama about a sauce 🫣😂
Same😂😂
it’s insane how invested i am 😺
Right 🤣
Girl same
It's not just you, I'm watching everything go down
I’m not trusting no one that calls themselves a “chef” and then only tries their “special secret sauce” on Burger King and food from other restaurants 😂😭🤣 ain’t see her make one thing with that sauce
THIS. 💯
You can call yourself a chef while having never gone to culinary school or working as a chef... there are no regulatory bodies that will prevent you :P
I worked as an actual chef at a restaurant in college and I had no prior experience.
Everytime I seen that monstrosity changed shade, consistency, label everything.
I live in the UK and the packaging reminds me of a cleaning product "Pink stuff" I wouldn't be surprised if the original had cleaning chemicals.😂💅
Yes I'm from Ireland and thats what it reminded me of so it never looked appetising to me
Omg I love that product, but honestly that sauce is the most disgusting thing I’ve ever seen 😂😂
Ketchup mixed with mayonnaise is pinker than that Pink sauce. Lmao
that sauce reminds me of the bright pink medicine you take as a kid.
Pink Amoxicillin and/or Pepto Bismol. Lol.
Dave may have saved her sauce but he can't save that woman's evil soul LOL
In Spain we have a "pink sauce" (salsa rosa) it's just ketchup and mayo mixed
We have that here in America and we call it “fry sauce” 😊
in my country, we call pink sauce to the mix of tomato sauce and cream or white sauce. which honestly looks better in color than what's she's selling lol.
@@julietaavila7550 pink sauce is common on pasta in the U.S. too. Cream and tomato sauce. Rosa.
Omg. I used to mix ketchup & mayo to make a false French salad dressing way back in the late 70's. Lol
I love your videos girl. I could listen to your tea spills everyday, keep up the good work!
Chef Pii literally entered in the food industry like a _wrecking ball_
never knew anyone ever fell this hard
The fact that you’re still calling her a chef after everything that we have seen 😂
I don't understand why they don't just use food coloring. I mean it's called pink sauce and it's tan :D
Or just use beet powder, or acai, I feel like there's plenty of foods that they could use to give it a better pink color!
I think because it’s supposed to be all “natural”
@@jokesha7553 yes but there is a way to color food naturally.
It doesn't even look like edible glitter either 😭
Just a huge piece of platic
Stop trying to make pink sauce happen. ITS NEVER going to happen. Lol 😂
I don't think health is in her vocabulary.
All I know is I’m never buying that stuff lol it’s way to sketch
food theory actually deconstructed the sauce and made it at home. it’s mostly mayo, ranch, a bit of spice, and dragonfruit to give it its neon pink color. dragonfruit is super expensive per fruit and they figured out you could make it cheaper and the same color with a dragonfruit powder instead
she literally edits the color in tiktoks why is this hard to believe
Wasn't the whole selling point of the product the pink color of the sauce? It made people curious and intrigued as to what such a sauce in that color could taste like but now it's just as basic as every other sauce on the market. No pink color kind of equals no point in buying a "pink sauce."
I thought the same thing. Why is it even still called pink sauce?!? I mean I know why, but how???
I'm sick of this girl and her pink sauce, they shouldn't sell it
the fact it's not even pink anymore, like that was the only thing it had💀
I promise you if from the beginning the sauce was that light pink color in the video (like how the actual color is), this would have never gone viral
Ughhh chef pii irritates me. Pink sauce nor her should have made it this far!
Why does her new sauce still look extra pink while the other girl has yellow sauce. Something isn’t adding up. Shes trying to bamboozle us again
Yeah, she’s getting her own product from the company that saved her, and adding an F ton of food dye to it.
This story is crazy!! Friggin love your videos, thanks for keeping me up-to-date on all the tea. I would be so out of the loop without you ♥️
With how everything has been handled, I can't say I'm jumping to buy a bottle.
And when they started asking questions and she lied about it being all natural or whatever it kind of snowballed
that’s why the color and the texture is so different every time cause she was testing recipes trying to make it look like it originally was but she can’t because it was a lie
Every time I see 'Pink Sauce Lady' I just say "Oh god what did she do now"
Ugh gross… my husband and i are in agreement never will we ever try this sauce even now that it is regulated. I just dont want this lady thinking its okay to not practice basic FDA regulations and then turn around and sell the sauce. Honestly i hope it fails..
I've never been more terrified from a CZcams title until now
It’s so annoying that she calls herself a chef but has no real culinary training, from what I can find anyway.
I'm convinced the people who bought this never lived in the 90s when there was purple and green ketchup smfh 😭😭😭
Tbh at this point it's too late to capitalize on the viralness of Pink Sauce after all the drama. Especially with how different the sauce is now.
Chef Pii won’t ruin my Mariana and Alfredo sauce combo. That’s the REAL OG pink sauce
That sounds so good
So from 6:28 to 7:15, the audio is really weird. Is that just how the TikTok video is or a glitch?
Imagine eating EVERYTHING with this sauce, how tiring for her 😭 my taste buds could not
Why are people not satisfied with other sauces like a bright red one also known as ketchup, tastes good with practically anything.
Glad she's official, too bad Karaoke Show didn't apologize to home girl like Pi did.
Istg At this point people are willing to buy literal sh*t as long as its neon colored 💀
Why won’t she just go away😂
I thought for sure they would fix the color. I thought that was the entire selling point? I’m a pink girly. If I saw a bottle of bright pink sauce in a grocery store, I’d buy it immediately. I don’t even care what it taste likes. I don’t understand how they could mess this up at every turn.
I'm speed. I really appreciate your work. You are a great background to study, I love it!
The actual official pink sauce literally just looks like fry sauce lmao.
Yes fry sauce! Or thousand island 😂 oh man now I’m craving fry sauce 😂
"Raspberry balsamic vinaigrette" is way better than "just like ranch" like everyone else is saying. She's her best reviewer, not her worst even though Pii and that talk show host treated her like s***.
I'm glad to know that she reached out with an apology after that talk show! That was such an unfair situation.
I’d be really surprised if this was a success. She already pretty much destroyed her reputation, she’s still making this worse by advertising something really bright pink in the videos when the real sauce is actually like a brown color. She needs to let it go, her 15 minutes of fame is over 🙄
I just don't understand how this woman is getting any sales whatsoever. She basically said "My customers ain't sh!t"
She doesn't deserve a cent from me
Thank you for all your videos about this and other subjects, you're the best✌⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I have no interest in trying this sauce at all but I watch every damn video about the drama 🤣
It's prime entertainment, and I'm not ashamed to admit it 🤣
I doubt it will be successful after all the drama, after all it didn't even happen that long ago.
The new pink sauce may be a different color but at least this new one won’t actually land you in the hospital so I’m down for it lol
If there is glitter u can sue her ass 😂
Its thousand island with food coloring. I'm pretty sure the company needed it to be vegan and natural color for it to go with their shtick
It seems like the color varies depending on what color the dragon fruit they get is it's probably yellow when the dragon fruit is white and then pink when the dragon fruit is red if they're going that route
Thank you for sharing. Always up for an update. 😄
I’m sorry, but after the karamo show, there’s no going back for me. Karamo never apologized and chef pie just did it because she wants to sell her product, not because she feels sorry
Y’all I actually need Gordon to like react to this and try the sauce
Gordon ain't a donut...so I doubt he would
The fact this chick is dipping food in peptic bismol ranch like it’s a flex. The Grinch isn’t this nasty. 😂
Anyone interested in how the pink sauce is made and debunking internet myths, I highly recommend watching How To Cook That (Ann Reardon)'s latest video. She's a qualified food scientist and dietician, she's fantastic.
Agree on this! It was very enlightening. Frankly after that I dont think she's doing it maliciously but bec she's untrained in a lot of aspects in food business.
this so cringe at this point. the sauce looks literally yellow. i think adding food coloring to the recipe could be better
"FDA approved facility" ...I thought she believed FDA was only for medical products LMAOOO
My guess is chef P used more than just dragon fruit in her own sauce
This video permanently solidified my decision to never buy a bottle of Pink Sauce, nor ANYTHING chef pee makes.
XD
The food theorists already know what’s up 🤪
I was looking for odorless monomer reviews and this popped up in between all the monomer videos😂
It’s clear to me that the sauce company just bought the rights to the name. She probably made some good money for it. I suppose they took the dragon fruit aspect of it and ran with it but you can tell there made a completely different sauce not just based on the color, but in general.
