Ignorance is profitable, and there's nobody to regulate it, because the profiteers are in control of our government through campaign contributions.

Stop eating at these places. Yes, they are convenient but the subsequent and wide-ranging health issues that follow are worth a change, that your health will thank you for. Once demand falls all across the board, the suppliers will cease to exist. Good riddance, along with numerous hospital visits and health care clinics as a result of chowing down on addictively habit-forming food products.

I remember being 12 and asking my dad for money to buy makeup. He refused and screamed and said, "NO! you don't need it!" then went of explaining my grandma never wore makeup and that it is BLAH BLAH BLAH I stopped listening after that, and felt left out of the skin care and makeup world because I couldn't play with it. I didn't pick up a skin care routine until I was 18 years old, and I regret it. My mom never stressed on skin care. She only knew about makeup and she wouldn't help me because she didn't want my dad to get mad. So, my sisters and I had to learn on our own. In our family, we didn't know anything...we had to learn through internet, friends, magazines...and a lot of that can get it wrong. Going to a dermatologist is not a normal appointment for most Americans to make, because HEALTH CARE~! If I did have a little one, and they wanted all that stuff, I would stop them and explain why not. I would even make that big jump to take them to a dermatologist, to help me explain and teach them. Kids should be washing their face. They need to build that habit, because during the night, you have dust, sweat and oils. That's your body. I think all they need is a gentle face wash, a light moisturizer and sunscreen. That's it. When they get to be 15-16, then I would let them play with more.

My son is 2 and has discovered ice cream and chocolate which I said he wouldn't have but in tiny amounts. He also loves French fries because because picky eaters... I do give extra because the dog gets at least half the food and I have to sneak vegetables into food and all because he won't even taste them. 3 donuts is an adult serving size suggestion based on adult calorie intake, not a 23 month old. TV is so bad for kids and it's going to cause issues. I guess a dead bug is better than a rat like that other lady.

Giving your phone to a child wasn't a great idea, I'd say.

1) Those children are overweight. It isn't typically seen as big of a deal, yet. Because, they can shed it very quickly and easily with some healthy changes. 2) She 100% does feed her family extremely unhealthily often... Because why else would she have THAT MUCH junk food in her house? Plus, I don't think people consider enough how much unhealthy food and habits it takes for kids to be overweight at that age. Kids burn off food so fast do to the growing their bodies are going through and their metabolism/energy levels. You'll hear some parents talk about how "oh it is genetics!" and "I swear I don't hardly ever feed them junk".. But ask to take a look in their fridges and pantries and watch their kids day to day physical activity, and they'll get really upset.. that is for a reason.

no because as someone who has gen alpha siblings and is apparently a "zalpha", these kids have issues. Kids have so low tempers these days if you walk to them the wrong way they will throw as many punches as they can at you (I get bruises from the hits ;-;) If teachers have to deal with that everyday their patience levels are so high. I had the privilege of going on the computer when I was younger, but it was shared and has a limit. That taught me to be patient, to enjoy anything, to not be selfish (watch something my siblings also like) and to give others turns. Its not that hard for parents to teach these things, but giving limitless screentime and giving kids their own personal devices teaches them to be selfish, that they will always be prioritized and that the screen is the ONLY enjoyable thing in life

on the point of 4th grade and 7th grade level differences. I was a bit like that in some areas but then read at a grade two or three years above me. kids catch up at different stages and how can we trust these teachers aren't just painting the whole class with a couple students results?
