Hi, I have 7.5 years experience as java developer. Currently I am in bench due to project completed and release. Now I am fail to clear client interview for get internal project - feeling too hope less because in client interview if I say like I not work in Spring boot microservice then they reject me interview. Exact same situation is with me. Same 5+ years experience, want to switch in data analyst , lack of skills. But afraid bcoz they expect alot. So I have decided that I will give full one year to prepare and will make many project. I will sharpen my skills then after one year I will go for interview.

1-2 year atleast.
There is no minimum or maximum tenure for that it depends how fast you learn things and apply and on top of that you should be confident that yes now i can move ahead.
