👍👍MAGICAL is EXACTLY the word to describe this masterpiece. imho it isn't only what Robin plays, it is the spaces in between, the quiet, allows the note to resonate. Perfection.

him far more than i like Clapton. Just an amazing musician, with all kinds of styles in his tunes.

I think one of the reasons is that Trower stayed true to his dream and did not sell out to what he thought the people wanted. Another reason is that after radio stations stopped playing longer songs, his classic stuff did not get a lot of airplay. I can remember XRT in Chicago used to play him quite a bit when Bridge of Sighs came out. That album was voted their album of the year and then they cut back on playing his music. I still dont know why. And I miss Jimmy too.

Yes, one of his very best tunes, this is all but an ad for what a Fender Stratocaster can do in the hands of a legend, entering peak output time. His first few albums are off the charts with incendiary guitar, with Jim Dewars great, soulful vocals and an amazing sound and vibe, though Hendrix influenced, was all their own. From the same, great debut album, do Sinners Song, a deep track no one reacts to but has an incredible kick and one of his very best solos, up there with this one. The man is an Ikon, I saw him a dozen times, several in his 70s peak, unreal displays of guitar musicianship, he always was one of the best, going back to his stint in Procol Harum in the late 60s. Twice saw him point blank in bars, I got to see him smile at us in more than one show. Spark one up right freaking now!!! More Trower! Enjoy. 🎵🎸🎤🎶

I would forever be changed by the Bridge Of Sighs album which I've clung to like a life raft all these years. But it's only been somewhat recently that I've truly immersed my self with this album and it is truly special too. I've been aware of Daydream for some time now but there are some great tracks on this album. The song "Hannah" is one of my favorites! There is just something about it! So glad you guys enjoyed that. Trower is a beast. Massive volume and distortion but played with such a light touch. Like how you guys say Pink Floyd like to play at that slow tempo, so does robin mostly, but the spaces he leaves create tension and emotion. SRV is the GOAT but his fluidity and skill level is what is so jaw dropping, whereas Trower and Hendrix, to my mind, go outside the box and experiment more and have a lot more colours to their palette. You must check out the live version of this on youtube at Winterland from , I think, 1975. Its incredible!

Hello La & Che, the thing about this song is that it sort of stands apart from his other songs. The song has this slow and dreamy melody, which is a major contrast to his more traditional bluesy, hard-hitting guitar sound. One of the best things about this tune is that it features Trower's signature guitar playing style, which is characterized by those beautiful long sustained notes and the heavy use of distortion on those riffs. Here's another one of their song's, if interested "Robin Trower - I Can't Wait Much Longer - 3/15/1975 - Winterland (Official)" (by the channel: Robin Trower) --This song I've suggested is from the same album as "Daydream" the album is called "Twice Removed From Yesterday", it was Trower's first solo album. It was released in 1973. This was so much fun thanks guys for sharing this wonderful tune, a real classic.

There's a live album they did in '75 called simply "Robin Trower Live"...it's a bit hard to find on CD (I have the original vinyl) but it's worth looking for. This song is on there, and it is so good. At one point Robin has a note feeding back (in a good way) that he's bending...and you can hear the snares of the snare drum rattle through the drum mic, as he hits a sympathetic pitch.

Robin Trower has created some of the best music that most people haven't heard for DECADES......It truly is a shame, because he is not mainstream cookie cutter writer, he gets overlooked.......Please take the time to review a song called "No Time" off Robin Trower Passion Album..........Mac

I'm pretty sure Trower got the idea for this song from Jimi Hendrix's beautiful ballad "Drifting" from his album The Cry Of Love.
