Everything you hate about socialist gov't is happening today under capitalism. Instead of money being redistributed to the sick and poor and those who need it most, it is redistributed to the generationally wealthy stockholders who need it least.

But if Real Time doesn't bring up the fact Bernie dominated the polls with a fucking landslide, or that CNN removed the polls and Bernie comments, or that ALL THE MEDIA pretend Hillary won...then his fans will probably be pissed as well. Lucas Merat I've been watching this show for years, I love this show and I know what satire is. This was not fucking satire, this was a bias ass blatant LIE to make us believe and think something that straight up isn't true.
At this point in time you wouldn't joke about someone like Bernie being a nobody. He won every poll and he already won in two major states. To still say oh Hillary is the only real choice to win when Bernie is doing better than Obama in 2007 just proves their pro-establishment and FAKE! There's nothing wrong if you think Hillary is better but not even give Bernie credit where credit is due? WAKE UP!
I like Trevor and I think you are making a mistake with the "news team". I get the feeling you want to take pressure of him by putting a couple of additional long time favorites up with him in so many segments. But for me you are achieving the opposite effect. I feel that those segments get repetitive and I would rather have longer monologues.

What's sad is that the Daily Show under Jon Stewart were very supportive of Bernie's realistic presidential campaign. It seems Trevor Noah may be more susceptible to influence from his superiors than Jon Stewart was.

Trevor even closes it with stating that Sanders fans must feel more confident- since he crushed in the poles- and the reporters mimicked the media's reaction! " Nah, Hillary still won..."
+sergio gonzalez The problem is, they lumped Sanders in with O'Malley, Chafee, and Webb, when this was Bernie's big night to prove himself outside the realm of the internet. He was gaining on her in the polls even before the debate, this was the opportunity for them to spike. Stewart recognized through his jokes when there was someone actually worthy of praise, and he didn't cover it up with bad satire. Noah or his other writers missed that cue.

No one would be nearly as pissed if he was Bernie biased. I think Bernie Sanders is a pile of walking rhetoric, he hammers in the same messages over and over again, but flubs anything out of his comfort zone. I don't dislike him, but just because he yells revolutionary things, doesn't mean he can get those things done or that he's the right choice for president.

Guys, I'm a Sanders supporter too, but the polls in which Bernie won were Facebook polls, and Facebook is a place with a lot of young people wehere support for Bernie will be higher anyways.

I like the fact that Sanders did not attack Clinton. It was a political maneuver that showed people his character. It showed integrity, that he passed up an opportunity and brought focus to the issue. I doubt Clinton would have if it were Sanders. It shows the difference between a good politician and a statesman.
Even the daily show is downplaying Sanders sweep in the polls... not even funny.
It doesn't seem right that Trevor belittled Bernie's campaign without any argument to support that action. I was really liking the new Daily Show, but this gives me pause.

Man this really actually upsets me, The Daily Show following this media narrative that Bernie is this unelectable old guy and Hillary is the 'obvious' candidate. I thought they were better than this man. Bernie has a real shot of changing things here, he's moved the discussion to the left and towards the issues, forcing Clinton to up her game massively. I'm hoping this is more of one-off and that The Daily Show will be back on point with this stuff soon cause WE NEED IT.

But as a fellow South African, I will continue to support him as he has the potential to influence all Daily Show viewers (teaching them to find the humour in the small and big things). Why would these media titans like Time Warner Cable risk loosing such a core base of their viewers, especially posting this crap ONLINE(I get many TV viewers ARE HRC supporters), when they are already hemorrhaging since Stewart left? Are they so desperate to give Hillary any support they can, that they would risk loosing $$$'s in the short term. Many people actually liked Noah as a comedian, and this is suicidal. FYI, for those that say this entire bit is sarcastic, that doesn't quite address the issue here for Sanders supporters. There was plenty of material (such as the whole "cut it out" Wall Street bit, her repeated efforts to garner support just for being a woman, etc.) to make JOKES to a politically savvy audience. Yet we get silence in this area. This all just screams of desperation from the large media networks including CBS...

To anybody who's saying that Trevor and his news team are pro-Hillary, Trevor has personally said that he wants this election to be between Bernie and Trump, and that Bernie would easily win. Might be for comical reasons, but still. I've seen him make fun of both Bernie and Hillary. In this segment alone, he said that Bernie could've attacked Hillary on things like the TPP and Keystone. No obvious Hillary supporter would voluntarily mention those things.
And to anybody who is saying that Jon was just sooo much better, how much attention and credit did he give to Bernie before leaving the show? From what I've seen, very little...
