In today's video we will be talking about 9 Month Cruise, Ultimate World Cruise and more

My favorite part about watching this crazy cruise go down is normal people. It has made me realize how desperately I ache to see normal people on the Internet instead of influencers. Seeing perfect people all of the time is boring. Seeing old people, different looking types of people, people from all over the world is delightful.
I agree!
👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀
Plus reg. Ppl just trying to share their cruise are less likely to turn every post into a chance to sell you something
Couldn’t agree more!!!!
It’s like light hearted white under belly 🤣🤣👏🏻💯
Agreed. “Normal people” are far more interesting to me as well.
Who wouldn't like Markie covering the 9 month cruise? I love this!
As long as it’s not on that boat!
as long as he is NOT on it him self. 100%
I literally look forward to these 😭🤣
The more you talk about this cruise, the more convinced I am it's populated 90% by the criminally insane.
Scarily accurate description 👌
putting a bunch of entitled people with more money than sense on one ship for months was not a good idea 💀
Outlandishly wealthy people, so you're not wrong.
some of these people literally sound like they are going through psychosis tbh
😂😂😂
I was literally just thinking how we needed another episode of the 9 month cruise! Also the intro never gets boring, I love it 🦕
Me, too! Lol!
I totally forgot about it 😭😂😂
Intro gets Me soooo giddy and excited
Me too 😊😂😊
Same here! 🙋♀️
Continue on Markie…
Imagine being held hostage because someone didn't finish their spring roll lmao
“What do we do?”
When you go on a cruise ship or any ship ; you have a location you are to muster in case of emergency and you physically have to go there and get a certificate signed off to say you know where it is. It will also tell you alternate areas as well.
Also fun fact-Every sailor is trained as a firefighter because it is a known hazard.
Subscribing for more fun facts about sailors/cruise ships 🙏
Not all cruise ship crew are trained to fight fires. Some are full time firefighters, some crew with other full time duties take a 1 week course to get trained to help as needed.
me, with adhd that would make me forget the rules as soon as i learned them: “idk, jump overboard?”
@@soybeanokra I would remember every rule but as soon as crisis happens dissociate immediately and become useless 😭
@@AdiscretefirmMy friend, a musician, wasn’t medically passed to work on a cruise ship because of his eyesight. If you need the double bass player to save you, honey you in real trouble! My friend got a lawyer and got some money for wrongful termination. Thanks for correcting the misinformation.
Yay! Cruises update! The ship has crew who are trained to fight fire onboard as a secondary job task. I learned that from watching bravos below deck 😂
Oh it’s a volunteer fire thing. Interesting.
@@TheQueenOfShebaI mean makes sense it’s in everyone’s best interest for the ship to not burn down, I’d volunteer
I love below deck lol
I would imagine it's not 'volunteer' it's either assigned by roles or there's a stipend on your wage (depending on worksite you might get an extra 0.25c/hour for being on call First Aid for example)
@@nishaj7130 me to!
that angry passenger sounds like one of those "get off my lawn" people...this ship is his lawn.
As a former cruise ship worker, those are crew members who are the firefighters. A special code goes out and they get into uniform and go. They have drills every week practicing how fast they can be. Every crew member has to do a week of training and fight a real fire in a fire suit, jump in water and get out of a trapped dark area leading a crew.
thanks for the info!
Of course they didn’t make it to the Taj Mahal. Of course they didn’t. I’m almost convinced that this is a social experiment shared by all of these countries, the universities in them, and the cruise line.
If they’re not letting them see the footage… my guess is the a-hole is an elite member and/or has an in with someone major in the cruise’s corp and they don’t want to get him in trouble. They’re probably lying about the security footage thinking no one will go through the effort of getting in contact with a lawyer 🙄
Members of the crew are trained to fight fire. Yes, we make a plan, identify potential risks, work out who's going in first, and plan for worst case scenario. It's absolutely necessary and normal to pause before entering a hazardous environment. Kinda like flight cabin crew are trained to handle emergencies in the air. The number 1 rule for emergency responders: dont die. Hope it helps! ❤
So like if you are a waiter you have to know how to be a waiter AND how to be a fireman? Or like a singer + fireman, etc?? That seems like a bizarre job requirement.
@@mazzy2121I work at a petrol station cooking food and I'm also trained in hazardous substances and spills, fire etc.
It's common place in Aus and in remote places. Dad went to Antarctica as a refrigeration tech and got trained in assisting surgery at the royal hospital incase he needed to assist the ONE doctor/surgeon they had on site, the doc also has to have his appendix taken out, dad had to had to have a hernia removed just to go down into that environment. It's very fascinating.
@@nicolehawley912 Wow!
@@mazzy2121I can’t speak for cruise ships but I was in the Navy and every single person onboard the ship, regardless of your rank or job, is trained on how to fight fires and is assigned to a primary or backup team and put on a rotating list detailing what days you’re responsible. When you’re at sea there’s nowhere to escape to, so everybody has to be trained how to handle fire/floods/medical emergencies. You can’t just count on a single team of ppl because if something happens to them there’s no other options. I would imagine the entire crew of a cruise ship would get at least basic training on emergency situations so that everyone can help if needed, even if they do have a dedicated fire team.
@@AmbassadorKat Its the same on cruise ships, They have designated fire teams but all staff are trained for replacement purposes if shit really goes sideways.
I’m almost embarrassed by the fact I’ve been waiting for this series to come back. I’ve been wanting to be nosey!! 😂😅
Oh don't be embarrassed, I was totally waiting to hear the hot juicy goss as well. The people on that ship seem certifiably insane and I'm so glad our sweet Markie didn't go.
@@MissJellybean thank you! I feel better now knowing I’m not alone. I’m glad he didn’t go too! What a crazy trip!
8:11 dog shadow in the background SPOTTED
I noticed that too! 😂🐾❤️
nice
I read your message at the right time. Don't like dogs but I don't mind seeing them doing mischieve in Markie video :p
I saw that too lol! For a second I thought we were about to see markie get snatched off screen by a ghost until I realized it was just the dog 😂
Every crew member has a role in firefighting on a ship. A fire is the worst thing that can happen on a ship, my friend is the ships doctor and she says “if they have me fighting the fire, everyone else is dead”.
"o ya let me just pull my lawyer right out the ocean dead quick so I can see this footage" ☠️☠️☠️
I came specifically looking for this in the comments. I made my neighbours jump with my laugh when he said that!!! Thank you!!! 😂💀😂💀
@@delores415 I definitely cackled out loud 🤣
From what I understand with cruise ships the "fire department" is the staff from certian departments being cross trained. So in the case of a fire they have people on board to take care of it. The way ships are designed are like giant building blocks. Fires can be contained to a block but they still have to move in and put it out.
ah, no cameras at the taj mahal is pretty well known once you get there. i went there as a kid (like, ten maybe?) when i was visiting family in india and they even had me hand over my mid-2000s camcorder that i was carrying around. the reason they don't allow camera devices is that the taj mahal, as beautiful as it is, is a grave site- they don't want tourists making light of it. so they only allow approved photography services to operate, and only on the outside.
I wonder what they do nowadays with cellphones?
Aah that makes sense, I was wondering why.
Interesting considering they throw their loved ones bodies in a river and call it a day.
@@laurazepam8382 interesting considering that western societies throw their loved ones' bodies in the ground and call it a day 👍
@@laurazepam8382 interesting considering how most western societies throw their loved ones bodies in the ground and call it a day 👍
I used to work on a ship! All the Crew have different types of "jobs" during an emergency, and one of them is actually fireman. And they can be anyone who works on the ship. I used to work in the kitchen and when we had a code Bravo (it was only practice, but without warning), like 3 of the chef's had to leave because they where all on the fire team, and a couple of servers as well, since they where on the medic team. And the rest of us just continued working.
Every week we had training, it changed every week with only "role specific training" and "role specific training woth evacuation". And our ship wasnt even a cruice ship, more like a ferry (2000 people capacity). I just imagine how much training these guys had to do.😮
I do not know if you have experience with the brig? Are they used often or do they just confine people to their rooms? Or are both extremely rare?
Thanks for the insight. 🤗
@@kayoss8787 The ships that I worked on were only for transportation (and eating, drinking, buying tax-free), and only took like 3 hours, so no private rooms. (Except for the crew).
We did have a brig tho, if I remember correctly, it was just a really small prison cell, like with the metal bars 😂 I only saw it once when they showed us around on the first day. Literally just walking up the personnel only stairs and the guy goes "And this is our Prison".
Fortunately there were no dangerous situations when I was working there. We had a lot of drunk people on the last sailing of the day, but the company hired a Security firm, so the crew didn't have to deal with it. Much safer for everybody.
But we did train for many different situations. And since I was on the "reserve team", (aka the extra people without any special education, who get sent every where they might need help) , they did not pick a 1,73m(at the time 18-23years old )girl to simulate "handling aggressive and drunk men." They instead choose the 2 meter "scary", big , muscle guy with a beard.
Sorry for the long paragraph😅
I just really miss working on a ship, it was good times.
@@GraalsDeadMonster very awesome thank you 🤗 super helpful 🤗
PLEASE keep going until this dumpster fire ends. This has inexplicably become my favorite thing on YT and I can’t express how jazzed I was to see this on my feed when I got home from work!
lmaoooo the Spring roll thing gets me everytime lmao
especially because the update intro is so serious until that point lmao
I have been told cruise ships are like little cities. They have their own everything including fire departments. Granted the firemen work other jobs but when there is a fire they gear up and go.
Sorry fam, dinner can wait! We FINALLY have a cruise update from Markie!
Small fires are incredibly common on cruises. If they aren’t calling you to meet at your muster stations, you really don’t need to worry. Markie should bring on a cruise expert to explain a bunch of this stuff.
Fire is by far the most dangerous situation on a ship! That's why there are so many firemen.
Please continue this series and finish thru the full 9 months. Would love to see this baby wrapped up with a complete storyline. 😂
The fact that 109 degrees F is sometimes a normal summer day in Alabama lol I hate it here. At least I can join the cicadas screaming all summer long. 😅
That's pretty normal for summer here in Australia too
Yessssss that’s the thumbnail face I’ve been waiting for! Anybody else mistakenly think everyone is keeping up with the 9 month cruise & end up looking ridiculous?
I brought it up randomly to family and they looked at me like I had 2 heads, and confused how I knew such random information 😂
I have 100% been waiting for this. This is legit the only place I get my cruise news from.
I need details on the fire situation, specifically was it human error or was there an electrical situation.
Dita looks so sad at the end of the Taj Mahal section. She seems like such a sweet lady.
Currently crocheting a sweater and i love to watch your vids as it makes the time go quicker lol you’re so entertaining yet respectful no matter what you do. It’s always a unique take, like I feel like I can watch something covered 25 times, but Markie always delivers it differently. Anyway, thx m8
The Grim Looper crocheting sweaters of death is not an image I thought I would have in my head today. So, thanks for that. Have a great rest of the week.
Please continue the series. I follow the itinerary to see where they are but I'm still curious as to what's happening onboard
there's a heat wave in south and southeast asia its hitting 40 up everyday for weeks now
and please keep us posted with the shenanigans of this cruise 😅
I bet that bully is a pinnacle member which is why Royal is protecting him. They are seriously going to get destroyed once this cruise is over.
YAY!! CRUISE UPDATE!!
Who wants to bet the troublemaker is a high paying/influential person who’s done this many times before? :/
Firefighters on ships are usually crew members trained to use firefighting equipment. Regardless of the size of the fire, everyone trained will respond since fires can be unpredictable in bad situations. The two most common types of fires on board ships are Class A (wood and paper; usually trash bins) and Class C (electrical).
We got another Cruise update before GTA VI
Ahhh the nine month cruise...... The gift that keeps on giving😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
The drama never ends
Oh we definitely need monthly check with the cruise. Plus any exciting breaking news like a fire
I'm with the people, please keep us informed Markie!! I'm only watching you in this topic 😬
Please keep going with the 9 month cruise. It’s better than any network reality show.
Also, this cruise is going to be studied in psychology courses everywhere. 🤣
I haven’t even been following the drama like that but when I saw the title I busted out laughing and knew this was my time to tune back in lmao
Literally my last day on my holiday and I needed this to smooth my current hangover
I think 8 Passengers is your longest running series. But the cruise is way more fun.
A fire on board a ship is one of the scariest things you can encounter at sea.
*OMG FINALLY THE 9 MONTH CRUISE IS BACK!!! LOL I MISSED IT 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 u saying they were just spawning in 🧑🏻🚒 was so funny*
Yes!!! I miss the cruise ship drama!!
All I saw was ‘TikTok cruise’ 😂😂😂 yav got me hooked man 😂👍🖤
Im surprised people are still on this damn cruise. What a disaster! 😅😅😅
Definitely keep us updated if anything new happens
I wonder which day it was that Royal Caribbean bosses/employees looked at each other and said, *_"WTF HAVE WE DONE?!?"_* ... And wanted to jump overboard? 🤣🤣🤣
Bro! You're the only one I want to watch covering this 😂
I like how you combine a few bits of drama into one video. I say keep them coming if there are things happening worth talking about
You might as well finish it! I’m invested every time you post about it
So glad you're sttill updating about this, and yes, please continue when you hear something interesting!
I only get info from you, please don't stop this series.
From a question about firefighters on cruise ships, the answer says that firefighting duties fall to all able bodied seamen and deck hands. They go through a weeklong firefighting academy. Carnival does list a Fire Patrol job on their website. This is seems to relate to maintaining equipment, assisting with training in fire safety and performing patrols.
A cruise ship crashed into a pier here, causing some expensive damage & all I could think was, "Are those the World Cruise people?"
Really surprised that they made it to India given the situations across the globe right now. Not surprised that they were in 109F heat & got into trouble over satellite phones. It's apparently illegal to own a satellite phone without government approval in India due to a history of them being used to commit crimes. Researching the laws & restrictions of any place is super important when you plan to go on vacation for reasons like this.
I think you need to see this through to the end who knows what the finale could involve but I need to know 😂
Markie every time i visit your channel you have 1 K more members👍👍👍
Road to 1 million
Please keep up with this series it's hilarious 🤣.
I’m so happy we got another update today, haven’t even got to the real video yet and that recap had me rolling 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Yes yes please keep doing this series. I love it. Theee are the only videos hubby and I watch and enjoy... Your accent is beautiful as well.
Damn, 35°C and im ready to fight god. I can't imagine 42°C.
Plz keep on with these videos I don’t care to watch this on TikTok but the way you deliver info makes it so I can literally watch a video of any type of drama or situation and be entertained
You are my in to the cruise. Please don’t stop 😂 I love the editing also!
I was missing the updates! I’m glad you’re still doing them!!
I’m so down for more 9 month cruise videos. This is my fav series!

Yess please keep covering it! Thank you for sharing 👏
I have never been so happy to see a YT notification 😄 you are the only person who keeps me updated on this because I really wouldn't have given a crap if it wasn't for this series 😂
YESSS!! Your cruise videos are what made me find you and subscribe. And while I love watching all your content, I definitely miss updates on this. (I'm lowkey one of the people that wanted you to go on the cruise haha- probably for the best that you didn't, but yeah.)
Glad to see the fire didn't hurt anyone! Very upset to hear that some people will spend an exorbitant amount of money to go on a vacation and ruin it for others, though.
Omg!!! Yes!!
Was just about to press play on this and make myself a bacon butty - oh no, when we have previously on the 9 months cruise we need to sit down and give it our full attention because we know there's gonna be some tea.
Yes please continue this series and keep us updated on the cruise!
Yassss! Nine Month Cruise updates are back! 🎉
I love the tea! Thank you for the update! Would love to see more. 😎
