      Thanks! I’m excited about them. I bought like 25 on comc for around $2-3 range, half had surface scratches but others looked clean 👌

    great tips. I did not know how much most of these issues would impact the grade. The crescent dimple in particular is a bummer, as my buddy had me submit a card of his that had one. I had assumed it would cause maybe one full grade, not 4.

    • @littlevictoriessportscards197
      @littlevictoriessportscards197  Před 3 měsíci

      Yeah, I agree, way too many grades down for a crescent dimple. I personally would grade the card somewhere around a NM 7

    Love the videos and tips and reveals. Do you think you could do a video of your COMC browsing and buying? I hop on there all the time and almost never find cards at some of the princes you score on. Are you searching daily, multiple times a day, certain sellers you buy from etc. Much appreciated!

    • @littlevictoriessportscards197

      Thanks for enjoying my content 🙌 I might make a comc like that in the future, thanks for the suggestion. I search every few days, and I usually just search by seller. Here are some good ones to get you started….

      I have a 112 card order in assembly so hopefully that one pops soon. Otherwise been working on a $14.99 stack

    I have had cards with a small dimple or two on the front that still get 10s. I think PSA is starting to care about them less.
    I also had a Tlaw that was 80/20 centering that somehow got a 10, so maybe I am just lucky

    Great pre-submission tips! Have definitely run into every single one of the condition issues you pointed out 😆. Some have been expensive lessons too. I’m getting better at finding surface issues on the front. I need to pay more attention to the back of the card (which I’m doing now). Too often I’d put work into cleaning up the front surface but sorta ignored the back, or would send it in despite roller lines and stuff like that on the back.

    • @littlevictoriessportscards197
      @littlevictoriessportscards197  Před 4 měsíci +1

      Thanks! Definitely pay close attention to the back, especially the back edges and corners, and we often overlook fingerprints on the back. The factory roller lines we can’t do much about though, but good thing you can still get gem mint 10’s with them 👍

    • @3pt-cards
      @3pt-cards Před 4 měsíci +1

      Totally! I really overlooked back fingerprints and didn’t give the cards a proper wipe-down on the backside. Doing that with every card I submit now.

    Thanks for the tips! Is there a way to get fine lines off of prizm cards with a polish or just buffing with a cloth?

    • @littlevictoriessportscards197
      @littlevictoriessportscards197  Před 4 měsíci +1

      Unfortunately I haven’t found a way to get out fine lines or light surface scratches :( Best I do is just try to buff out with a microfiber cloth. Happy collecting! And thanks for watching

    Hey LV, great vid as always👍what’s the most copies of 1 card you’d send to psa in 1 order? I’m going to sub some 93 finest mjs w varying degrees of greening(some are really nice)any recommended approach? Sending 18 in total👍thanks for the tips too, wasn’t aware that it is an automatic 9 in almost all cases if you leave the peel on a finest card👍

    • @littlevictoriessportscards197
      @littlevictoriessportscards197  Před 4 měsíci +1

      Good question, and thank you 👍 I’d say the most copies of one card would be 8 per order. My recommendation for you would be 6 jordan finest per order, so spread evenly within three orders total. Good luck! 🤞 And happy collecting!

    Cool video and great tips and awesome cards!
    2 questions.
    1.) I've noticed almost all donruss optic and prizm cards have horizontal print lines on back. I assume psa isn't that harsh on backs?
    2.) If I have 5 of the same card I want graded, should I split them in separate orders?

    • @littlevictoriessportscards197
      @littlevictoriessportscards197  Před 4 měsíci +1

      Yeah, don’t worry, PSA doesn’t knock down those back printer roller lines. You can still get PSA gem 10’s with those 👌 And I’d say you don’t need to split up 5 of the same card. Anything over 7-8 of one card…I would split up 👍 Thanks for watching!

    Excellent information at the beginning of the video and entertaining as always.
    Quick question for you - do you examine cards with any kind of instrumentation before sending off, e.g. a jeweler's loupe or microscope?
    What's your take on returning eBay items you've purchased for the purpose of grading when they arrive with undisclosed and not-pictured significant damage like crescent dimples or significant roller lines that were artfully hidden? I've returned several in the last month for this kind of thing after not initiating a return for nearly five years. I'm not sure if I've simply had bad luck or if it's a growing issue. A couple PC cards and a couple cards I purchased to potentially grade. Just curious on what your thoughts are on the ethics here. If I were to resell, I'd disclose the defects.

    • @littlevictoriessportscards197
      @littlevictoriessportscards197  Před 4 měsíci +1

      Thanks! I personally don’t use a loupe or anything for the cards I submit 👍 But that’s just because I’ve been doing this so long, 20 years. I do own a jeweler loupe though just in case.
      Sorry to hear you’ve been getting a lot of poor conditioned cards lately. You have every right to ask for a return, don’t feel bad at all. Personally, I only ask for a return for the more expensive cards I buy that arrive with flaws (cards over $40 bucks). And I agree with you, everyone should disclose damage, and not hide it. I try to only sell raw cards that are at least nm-mt, but if they aren’t, I always include a clear picture of the damage and disclose in description 👍
