Changing out some gaskets on a titan manifold that hasn't been replaced before. Old and brittle usually comes out in two pieces. A good reason to change them often.
This was helpful but I did make one modification, rather than trying to pick out the old gasket with a sharp object small screw driver I grabbed a wood screw big enough to bite into the gasket, screwed it in (not to far) and was able to pull the old gasket out with pliers on the screw head. I now keep that screw with my replacement gaskets!
I see two types of gaskets for sale. One type is 1/4" and the other is 3/8". The part you were repairing in the video was a 1/4" gasket, so what part of the manifold does the 3/8" ones go to? I noticed that you put the gasket in with the tapered side facing outward, correct? Mine was so disintegrated I couldn't tell which side goes in where.
Thanks man haven’t been able to use my hoses to pull a vacuum need to repair them asap

Thnx bro, gotta replace mine ASAP

Thank you so much
If you bought a used gauge set. Covered in oil, inside out, Would you clean it out? with isopropyl? Or acetone?
One of those 99 cent hook picks work well to get both the gasket and depressor out

Nylog is goopy
I see that 2011 on the suction hose man they are ancient
So how do you install the ones on the manifold side?
Noice
No problem getting the old ones out, but where do you get good ones that fit all the fittings?
I have a gasket on the end that stays on your manifold that is giving me fits. I cannot get all the junk out.
I’m not even going to finish watching this video, too slow!
