    same as you had before just different temp conditions,but a hell of a job replacing that exp without taking the coil out.nice video.

      What do mean taking the coil out. You do not take a coil out for that repair.

    What really sucks is when the air handler is horizontal and that dang plastic pan sits directly beneath that equalizer tube. I won’t braze them in there. I cut the old one close it with silphos, and move equalizer tube to new location…usually outside the air handler.

    Would you recommend change the txv if i get a bad compresor?or only when the txv its bad. Thanks for your answer i follow your twp channels this one and vato de climatizacion,sigue con tu español carnal

    Looks like the insulation was on fire what happen to your heat shield cloth

    What size torch tip are you using and is that the industry recommended?

    Did you pump it down without gauges?

      Sometimes I pump down by ear also....but if Txv is bad you won't be able to pump it down 100 percent. Experience counts

      No, I work by myself. I’ve actually downsized so I can work as a one man shop. I do know another contractor who may be hiring.

      I have a Carrier Heat pump and my TXV has lasted for almost 12 years with no problem.

      There good in certain areas but not up north were I live to cold but down south there okay cause it usually don't get that cold !
