Funny story I got higher than bat wings on an up flap. But went deeper than deep on my tackle and rigging some things stuck some were like the eff was I thinking. But turning my bait a quarter turn was one, another I like keeping a booger stop on all my rods either protecting the knot or slide up just a bit and it looks like something a bait fish is chasing. I paint my stops different colors instead of plain black
Just 2 years ago at cayuga ! Zaldane and a few other guys got a bunch of stuff stolen ! What a sick feeling that is ! Lots of sentimental stuff you accumulate ! Might look into this ?

If you’re ever in Savannah Georgia, hit me up, I would love to hang out with you and pick your brain about saltwater and bass fishing, just a blue collar river rat crane operator on the Savannah river that lives to fish. I also entered the give away my garage deal, fingers crossed 🤞🏻
Maybe the other security measure I would add is some strobes, some sirens, some lights in the nearby trees, and an automatic doghouse with a big German Shepherd, Rottweiler, or Doberman in it. At least you could do that at home anyway.

That's an awesome system for security either in the driveway, or traveling abroad! Phone notifications, alerts, like Simplisafe for your boat. I'll just bet it can be used for more than boats too, maybe four wheelers and such as well. Love ya'll ❤

It's nice to be notified when a thief breaks into your boat but I would suggest an onboard siren (the loudest legally allowed) and a deck mounted strobe light. This identifies the boat being tampered with, drawing attention to the crime scene and potentially scaring off the culprits before any major losses occur. I have this system set up at my homes and believe me when there is an occurrence the entire neighborhood knows!
I’ve worked on hundreds of Bass boats and have seen a lot of stupid installs. Screws to long coming up through seat cushions, speakers screws to long going into live wells and coolers.
I can see some clown installing this and running screws up through the carpet, just long enough to go into the ball of ones foot.

Best way to protect your boat is; use a brick of c4 that explodes when the the boat leaves the proximity of your remote device you have on you. Guaranteed those theives won't ever steal anything ever again 🤣

Around here thieves targeted vehicles 🚗 batteries by cutting the horn breaking into the truck or car cutting the battery cables then locking your vehicle back up so your vehicle appeared normal. Which had the fuzz baffled yeaup the catalytic converter‘s are now on these lists. One thief got himself killed trying to steal home owners. You may be out of pocket with insurance. Simply safe now has sounds like improved cameras 🎥 in color. I think simply safe should just give people cameras etc but link them to the police. The video is sent and address of location. It knows your face do as not to trip the alarm 🚨 since patrols have stopped. It has to be a shoot out at the ok coral before you’d see a black/white. I think cities ought to be outfitted verses the cell phone bit. Your in the system now as well as your mug shot. Since patrols I guess are expensive so why not light poles cameras to perform patrols stuff ought to be free seek grants.
