Keep up the great work, Mark! You bored, ported, and milled the head on my 1100 Yamaha 63M triple that I put in my Waveblaster and everyone that rides it loves how linear the power curve is and how it pulls like a freight train. My friend put a stock 65U 1200 in his, and my 1100 was actually quicker. You do amazing work!

Great videos man! Very informative 👏👌👍. I have 2 questions on this topic. 1. I have 701 raider case with 760 jugs and twin 44s in a b1 . Are the 44s over kill? 2.will bad reeds affect top end performance? It feels like she is flat 3/4 throttle on. Like it does nothing but the engine tone changes. It's a new top end and 160 psi per cylinder. There is a bog on bottom slightly if I'm idling for a while and smash the gas.

I was wondering if you might be able to help with my set up. I have a Kawi 900 with keihin cdk-2 triple carbs... I would like to invest in some Mikunis but probably not until next season. I did order a rebuild kit for the Keihins although I never tuned up carbs before I hope to get it some good bottom end response. Do you recommend and reeds or reed stuffers for the 900 ?

My Superjet came with blowsion tornado filters but I'm learning how to ride and want to put the oem flame arrestors back on so I don't suck water into the engine. If I do that will I need to rejet it? And will I lose power?

just stumbled onto this channel today, it's hard to find this kind of content anywhere. I might have to take your suggestion about running 2 screens in my flame arrestors, I bought my setup complete and running so I'm in the process of figuring out what all was done to it and when i got it it didn't have any of the screens in it. Its a Kawasaki 800 max bored so I would rather not trash it.

Great channel sir! I'm looking for a donor jet ski to build a mini jet boat. I'm leaning towards an older kaw js 650 or similar because they're cheap and simple. Is there a particular engine you would recommend or suggest to stay away from?

  • @Jacobskibros

I'm curious If you had a novi 46 and a sbn46, the novi is 400 bucks more and the only performance benefit I see is the atomizer. Assuming you size the carb for the engine Is Novi really that much better? From what I can tell sbn mikunis seem to work generally as good as most of the better aftermarket carbs. What's your opinion on that? Love your videos!

      @EricksonMachinePerformance  Před 4 lety

I Personally like Full Spectrum More. But MOST name brand aftermarket carbs out perform Oem Mikuni. Full Specturm, Dasa, Thrust, Black Jack, Riva, Xs, Novi ( In no particular order) But there are also a bunch of older carbs that can work well BUT are finicky like Buckshot ect... It all comes down to your setup. That being said the main purpose of a carb is to meter and atomize fuel some the atomizer is one of the MOST important parts to make hp

Didn't know what video to ask about this but whats your opinion on filling the crossover? I'll be just doing flat water stuff mostly.
    My build:
    62t cases, Ported and epoxy
    64x 760 ported
    V force 3 reeds
    Dual 44 carbs
    B pipe
    Zeel
    Ada 190psi
    Tbm flywheel
    Torrent 148

      For what engine?
      They all vary greatly
Carb size and engine size plays a role
Popoff can vary from 15psi to 55psi depending on setup

What is your recommended set up for a 98 750 sxi pro. I bought it last year and trying to fine it from the previous owner. It has a stock 750 with a factory b pipe to the factory water box, Dual Mikuni Carbs; I think they’re 46mm’s and VForce3 reed’s. I just bought the VForce3’s but haven’t tried them out yet due to broken starter that I’m fixing. I’m not unsure if this setup is right from the previous owner. This is my first 750 so I’m learning as I go. I does seem to have no bottom end but it’s alright in the top end if I could get the pump to stop cavitations.
