Ladies and gentlemen, you may have to adjust the color of your monitors...it is definitely a yellow strap! Haha...I didn't realize it would be so controversial. Pull up the Wiki shot of it and it's pretty obvious.
(You can also judge based on the brown underpieces that Link wears as a part of that outfit as well, plus the little laces in front at his neck...the hat to me was the most obvious, though)
Also, just to clarify: A lot of people are saying "It's obvious it's Fallen Hero because Link wakes up in a Reincarnation Chamber." Technically, you can't use that as evidence here because the "Hero is Defeated" division is specifically related to Link losing at the end of Ocarina of Time against Ganon, NOT the battles described in BOTW.
Lastly, a lot of people are mentioning the appearance of the "Mirror of Twilight" in the form of the "Fragmented Monument." And that's a really good point, however, if you look at the "Fragmented Monument" in BOTW, its design is pretty strongly different from the Mirror, in particular the writing in an ancient language around the rim of the circle.
Could the timelines have united and this is at the end of them? That's actually what I was hoping for as I researched! Sadly, I just didn't feel like there was enough evidence to support that. When I stopped to look at all the evidence together as well as how Eiji Aonuma was talking about this game leading up to its launch, it felt like the team INTENDED this to be a return to that first timeline while making nods to the other games.

Gaming Blastoise It’s actually in all three but okay
@patty_12 Yeah but that was a cop out. If you actually looked at the story lore to the game then you'd see that Nintendo all along had the Downfall Timeline in mind when creating BotW. Heck even the overall theme of the game is from the Downfall Timeline.
@@ligerjgold6686 MatPat released a video proving how BOTW could be part of all 3 timelines, it takes place after Hyrule warriors which is a game where the timelines got combined, so BOTW would be part of all 3. I think BOTW is Nintendo's way of fixing the timelines once and for all, BOTW 2 is taking place shortly after BOTW so BOTW2 could be the start of a new linked timeline.
@@youtubestuff683 I thought I remembered reading something about Nintendo confirming that BOTW is all three

This video is extremely impressive, none of this evidence I can deny. I personally believe that BotW takes place so far in the future that timeline placement is pointless. I’m pretty sure that’s what the devs were aiming for, allowing for a clean slate with this era.
Thats what i thought as well
Wrong they placed this game in the downfall timeline. It's all there. Link's tunic of the wild hat final concept art has that yellow stripe. Lynels existence and finally the Sage Ruto is mention as part of Hyrule's history.
I believe that some event made all three timelines converge. there are clothes for most of the heros in the dlc and there is enough evidence to support all three

MatPat theorizes this in a video about Hyrule Champions.
Hyrule game lol but they say it's non cannon
I remember hearing somewhere that it’s confirmed all of the past games are myths and that botw is so far in the future it’s impossible to tell which stories are real and which ones are legend
@fearlessjake465 watch the video, he has very convincing points as to why it is cannon. If we've learned anything from fnaf, mat is right more than the developers themselves

Ok that bit at the end with the idea of Zelda being able to see the other timelines is actually a really cool idea
Except if you watch the cutscenes in BOTW, Zelda _never_ gets visions, or hears or sees spirits of any kind. Her inability to do these things, as well as lacking the sealing power, are why she sees herself as a failure and blames herself for Calamity Ganon's success in destroying Hyrule. Rather, she says that her mother, grandmother and other woman ancestors of the royal family could do such thing.
Rather, Zelda is reciting a speech that predates herself.
That would explain why she trusts him so much, even though he failed
maybe the Memorys of each Zelda is sealed with Ganon all togther - so when Ganon breaks out, the Memorys will too. Maybe this extents beyond the Timelines.
The BotW Zelda didnt got her power tho, but thats more related to the Triforce itself then to the outbreak of Ganon.
FynnFTW Zelda has always been blessed with power. In Skyward Sword, she did not have it and had magic. Also in Minish Cap and Four Swords, before the Triforce Split.
She did awakened her magic due to stress and love.
Memories from past lives sounds like something Nintendo would not add without mentioning

Obviously BotW is set in the fourth timeline, where Link moves to Brooklyn and becomes a plumber, leaving Hyrule to be nuked. He then assumes the new name, Luigi, and pretends to be the brother of another plumber and former carpenter, Mario. He eventually makes it to the Mushroom Kingdom and even inherits a mansion, but Peach reminds him too much of Zelda, so he leaves once again and downloads his conscience into a robot, Rock. He fights for the people of Earth, until the planet is destroyed by capitalism. Since he had changed his religion to Hinduism, he is reincarnated as a young boy who collects god-like animal-human hybrids and forces them to kill each other, but the "Pokemon" (as they are called) rebel and wipe out human civilization, reverting back to their ancient animal forms, but anthropomorphized. The powers of the Triforce grant Link a final form as a spaceship-flying fox, who flies to another galaxy after defeating the maniacal Andross and eventually dies of cardiac arrest. This timeline is called the Cucoo timeline, and it is what happens when Ganon is defeated by the ultimate superpower, poultry.

I’d like to propose something: what if this game reconnects the three timelines?
That's what I'm saying
That's what I think as well. I do think the "primary" timeline that BOTW is drawn from is downfall, but I think its more likely that the event that spawned the first Calamity Ganon was the merging of all 3 timelines, which is why there are so many easter eggs/connections to every timeline in BOTW. When you look at the ancient arrows that were created from ancient sheikah technology, what exactly do they do? They appear to open up a dimensional rift that can blink some enemies out of existence. What if the Sheikah, with their advanced technology, discovered a way to peer through the different timelines using this same dimensional rifting technology? But something went wrong in their experiments, collapsing all 3 timelines together in a momentous, singularity type event. And that the result was an even more powerful version of Ganon, possibly one that consumed and took on the power of his alternate timeline counterparts? I would like to add that I have not played TOTK yet, I am literally just now playing BOTW so if this stuff is all being answered in the sequel, I don't want to know about it yet lol.

Hyrule Warriors ?
There's actually only one explanation that accounts for every clue in BotW - including the things this video missed, like how the Great Deku Tree isn't found in any of the Fallen Hero Timeline, or Gorons, for that matter, plus things like the references to Twilight or sailing across the sea, and would also take into account the DLC items and Amiibos:
What if BotW is the next tie-together game?
After the timeline is split for so long, BotW is the point where they converge again. This is explained in-game through the fact that they worship the Great Goddess Hylia, instead of Din, Farore, and Nayru (which hasn't been mentioned in any other game but Skyward Sword). This would also explain why the Triforce doesn't seem to exist in BotW. The timelines all lead to BoW, no matter how OoT played out.
Things the video failed to account for:
- The Great Deku Tree isn't in any Fallen Hero games, but it is in BotW.
- Same with the Goron race. While Zoras, Rito, and Koroks can be explained, there is no Goron counterpart in the Fallen Hero timeline. The Rito is a bit of a stretch, too.
- Same for the Gerudos. Link Between Worlds has a gang of thieves in Lorule, but not in Hyrule. Canon says that Ganon wiped out the Gerudos when he won since they turned against him in OoT.
- The Mirror of Twilight can be found in BotW (the Fragmented Monument).
- The Provinces of Hyrule are first introduced in Twilight Princess (Faron, Eldin, and Lanayru)
- The Arbiter's Grounds from TP is in BotW.
- Crenel Hills from the Minish Cap is in BotW.
- Goponga Island, Kanalet Ridge, Mabe Village Ruins, Martha's Landing, Tal Tal Peak, Tabhal Woods, Ukuku Plains, and Koholit Rock from Link's Awakening are in BotW.
- Horon Lagoon is the same name as Horon Town in Oracle of Seasons
- Linebeck Island in BotW is named for the captain in Phantom Hourglass.
- Lulu Lake, Mikau Lake, Toto Lake were named for the band in Majora's Mask.
- Mount Daphnes in BotW was name for King Daphnes (King of Red Lions) from Windwaker.
- Ralis Pond was named for Prince Ralis of the Zoras from TP.
- The Divine Beasts were named for heroes of the different races: Vah Nabooris (Nabooru, OoT), Vah Rudania (Darunia, OoT), Vah Ruta (Ruto, OoT), and Vah Medoh (Medli, Windwaker).
- The Tingel, Ankel, Knuckel, and Davdi Islands are all named for the four residents of Tingle Tower in Wind Waker - Tingle, Ankle, Knuckle, and David Jr.
- The flowers around the Master Sword pedestal in BotW align with the flowers around the pedestal in Link to the Past
- and much more.
You might dismiss a few of these as trivia, but there's just as much evidence for Adult and Child timelines as there is for Fallen Hero. Nintendo officially stated that BotW takes place in the Adult Link timeline, but taking all evidence into account points to all three timelines converging here.
I haven’t had a chance to play BOTW yet (that’s my disclaimer). Here’s a few more things to ponder:
- The Dark World could be the Fallen counterpart to the Twilight Realm, as LTTP Link uses a magic mirror to escape it
- The Great Sea that exists in Adventure of Link goes far beyond Hyrule and the vast North Kingdom, and is traversed by raft & winged boots.
- That game was also the first appearance of many Sage/Hero names, which are town names in Z2AOL. This would suggest that the Goron were still remembered to some extent in the Fallen timeline, and may have been in hiding.
- Link’s Awakening has a Leviathan in the Wind Fish
So still nothing conclusive to any one timeline! My personal theories:
1) Demise/Gannon/Gannondorf “The Thief” Dragmire somehow became aware of his counterparts in the other timelines and found a way to merge his selves together in a time before BOTW, forming the “Calamity” über-Gannon. The various timelines may have become entangled as a result. If Calamity Gannon did this prior to events 100 years before, an earlier, unmentioned cataclysm may have mashed up the timelines, explaining the crossover elements in geography, characters, and lore.
2) BOTW isn’t happening during an incarnation of Link, Zelda, or Demise. Instead, it takes place in an afterlife which is shared between all timelines. Link’s 100 year sleep was actually an incarnation of the Hero, during which Gannon was sealed away and unable to return. After the Hero’s death, Link returns to the afterlife to wage war against his eternal nemesis. Here the elements from every incarnation are slowly remembered and merged into one transcendent metaphysical reality, explaining quirks specific to each timeline still showing up everywhere. (Hahaha, I know)
the gorons are in the oracle games actually which are in the downfall fallen hero timeline so get schooled.
Plus Nintendo made an official statement which ways that BotW is actually a convergence of all the timelines which could be an event that could be better explained in a future game just like how skyward sword explained how zelda and link keep on reincarnating.
gorons are in the Oracle games my guy
One nitpick: Memory scenes show Link and Zelda using their Triforce pieces. Unless you mean to say that the Triforce in its physical form is unmentioned and unseen due to all the pieces being posessed since OOT, you can't say they don't appear.
According to my knowledge, faron, eldin and lanayru were in skyward sword wich is in the start of the timeline so those places existing in both twilight princess and botw doesnt mean that theyre in the same timeline.
I have a theory concerning the timeline placement of BOTW. We know that the game plays in the distant future with lots of history being skipped. During this time I believe two mentionable things happened. The first would be all the technological advancements made by the shiekah, a point unrelated to the theory I mentioned. The second is the theory itself, something I came up with on my own but I now saw is mentioned in the game theorists pinned comment on this video. I believe the split timeline from Ocarina of Time must have, at some point, reconverged into a single one, merging the three realities back into one. Although I could never say what caused/did this, I do have three observations that support the Idea. The first is very obvious, namely the observations mentioned in the video above: There are not only references, but entire plotpoints from all three timelines that go far beyond beeing mere "easter eggs" or fanservice. The second is from the new BOTW2 trailer: Gannondorf is the "source" of Calamity Ganon. From the looks of it at least, all malice seems to come from his "corpse" hidden underground. I'm sure the truth will be revealed in BOTW2, but for now this means that both Ganon and Gannondorf exist within the same reality. My final observation is linked to the first, but based on the Landscape. Landmarks seem to be spread across the countryside: Goddess statues, Pico and minchi and crenel and trilby, spectacle rock, hyrule castle & fields, bridge over lake hyilia, the tingle isles, lurelin village etc. (there are loads of BOTW reference videos) -> they successfully feature from all timelines and appear to have been forcefully puzzled together. Its as if they were placed over, into and about each other, despite not physically fitting together. The time paradox became a space paradox. My favorite part about this, is all the huge canyons around and through hyrule. The rito and hebra regions are just "tacked" onto the rest of the map, beeing seperated by the tanagar canyon. The entire map itself feels like it has been placed among its uninhabited surroundings, almost deleting whatever used to be where it now lies. Hyrule looks like an "inland island", not ready to become a part of its surrounings yet.
Its all just an inkling of mine but it seems coherent, so I would love for people to discuss this. I'm almost sure that I cannot have figured everything out correctly and my theory probably wont stand the test of time. For now I cant find any counter-arguments but I'm open to enlightenment :)
That's what I think as well. I do think the "primary" timeline that BOTW is drawn from is downfall, but I think its also the case that the event that spawned the first Calamity Ganon was the merging of all 3 timelines, which is why there are so many connections to every timeline in BOTW. I agree that the 3 different Hyrule "spaces" were all twisted and melded into 1 new reality as a result of this merging. As to to how this happened, I do have 1 theory.
I still come back and watch these videos 5 years later. Love it.
After the botw 2 trailer all I can say is. This video did not age well

I'll say it did. Nothing ever said that Ganon couldn't return to his Gerudo form in the failed link timeline. I think the video still stands

And the collar differences
I know you're joking and I don't fully agree with this video either, but please for the love of God do not 'tsk' ironically or unironically.
that was bothering mew so much lmaooo. it seems alot of people miss the fact that his whole outfit is virtually the exact same
Holy cow you're right...
@@TuftyTaltan That was the most glaring thing I saw! The collar is always stitched up in the fallen hero, but not in any others. Also, the sleeves.
Since this has come out I have found Gerard and Alex. He’s the man and love the shoutout he got all these years later in retrospect! Cheers 👌
I really think you should do a TotK theory sometime! That would be pretty awesome.
One correction: Spectacle Rock is in Wind Waker. It's one of the islands that creepy game host guy is at, toward the northeast corner if I remember correctly. Not saying this is a reason to doubt the theory, just pointing it out.
That's actually another theory. Look it up.
Erm I own the game. I haven't played it in a while but I do remember that. Maybe it was removed in the HD edition but trust me, that guy creeps me out enough for me to remember.
MrFr1day what would you search? I'm curious.
In Wind Waker, there's an island called Spectacle Island, which is Spectacle Rock half submerged in the Great Sea. The Great Sea is Hyrule, just magicly flooded with water.
The other games, in the Adult Timeline, don't have a Spectacle Rock because they don't take place in Hyrule. After the events of Wind Waker, Link and Zelda leave the Great Sea (Phantom Hourglass) to find a place to settle a New Hyrule (Spirit Tracks).
If BotW was in the Adult Timeline, not only would the Great Sea have to disappear, but Zelda's family would have to move back to Old Hyrule, resettle, and rebuild it.
It's called Spectacle Island in WW. The theory is it's a flooded Spectacle Rock but, to my knowledge, was never confirmed to be such. zelda.wikia.com/wiki/Spectacle_Island

What if breadth of the wild is the end of ALL the timelines, not necessarily in the same way Matt pat proposed in the video where he claimed hyrule warriors is cannon, but in a way where no matter what timeline you follow, they ALL end up the same way, in breadth of the wild
I like this.
@Skarn22 One thing you should know is that the yellow hat thing in game may look different but you did not check the finalized concept for the Tunic of the Wild found in "Creating A Champion's Guide". Go see it(page 186) and look at the stripe. Yes the combination of yellow stripe finalized Cap, Lynels and finally Zelda's naming in the game all connect to the Downfall Timeline.

It took me 1 and a half years to:
- Get into the Legend of Zelda Series
- Become addicted to Zelda
- Withdrawl my addiction to Zelda
- Get a Switch and Breath of the Wild
- Try to figure out the timeline by myself
- Come back to this video
So this is where my escaped clone went
*become addicted to zelda*
Ummm
You are going to eventually start cosplaying from Zelda. Trust me I was in the same boat at you when I was new to Zelda.
Uhm Zelda is my childhood, I was addicted since I was like 4, 5 or 6 years old.
I really hope you make an additional theory video including the breath of the wild II which likely gives further evidence to this theory considering what we've seen from the preview trailer indicating the real Gannon is resurrecting from a deep underground tomb since his demon form plan didn't work out previously
Totk mentioned the imprisoning war which took place just before a Link to the past so it’s officially canon now.
At 7:48 I think Matt has not taken his Ritalin he's completely lost it or the salt is finally gotten to him

13:00 it’s not just the yellow stripe on the hat; the brown tunic sleeves are also consistent across Link’s uniform in the failed hero timeline.
Curlorly06 I'm so glad you said this cause that's what I thought he was referencing
Me too! When he built it up I was like “ohhh they all have brown sleeves!” And then he mentions the yellow stripe and I’m like “oh, okay, that too.”
furthermore, the outfit, in general, is reminiscent of that in the failed hero timeline
I actually noticed that too
Wow I just saw that

Mat pat: *Well boys... We did it, tingle is no more*
Don't we all generally agree that botw and Totk take place so far into the future that all the timeliness converged
Zoras live in fresh water, not salty seawater... So having them evolve into Ritos kinda makes sense.
I mean I still think it would be easier to evolve ability to survive seawater instead of fresh water than it would be to evolve the ability to fly
Al Weighs Wright then survivability because they can get eaten by big fishes
I'm pretty sure the Goddess was also involved... but I'm not sure. But the thing is, if you take a freshwater fish and put it in saltwater, it dies quickly.
So, explain Majora's Mask Zoras, please.
Sure. Canonically, Termina was simply a figment of Skull Kid's imagination and ceased to exist at the end of the game. Therefore, since it's not real, it explains how Zoras live in saltwater, how Link meets people he already knew from Hyrule, etc.
*mentions yellow stripe but not the brown sleves*
zelda also mentions alttp
THANK you. He also wears more shorts in that timeline as well.
He didn't mention it in the video itself, but he did in his comment. He mentioned how he only chose the yellow stripe because it was the most obvious to him.
Or the collar being joined by X stitching. Other time lines have V necks or open collars.
QuiteSeriousGameReviews ok
personally i think that botw kind of brings the timeline back together from when it split and forms it back into one linear timeline because there is decently solid evidence from gerudo king ganondorf is probably coming back in botw 2
I just got a Nintendo switch and I've been playing this game like CRAZY
Matpat:did you see it?Me: they're all wearing green?
Glen Greenia I was looking as their torsos, the ones he shows have crossing strings or whatever at the top when the others he showed didn't
I honestly thought he was saying the other Links were blonde/blonder, while the failed time line was all brunettes.
The brown underwear, actually. I don't why he decided on the yellow strap, but hey that works too.
Glen Greenia I thought it was the brown undershirt
Glen Greenia I thought it was that in the failed hero timeline, it was the hair and two stitches on the chest at first until he pointed out the yellow stripe
I think another good piece of evidence to support this theory is that the master sword has sword beams in this game. As much as I can remember, the only games that have the master sword beam are the games that are in the down fall timeline.
Pretty sure Minish cap has it
*looks at Skyward sword*
yea but minish cap and skyward sword all appear in the renufied timeline. in the 3 spilt timelines ,he's right . it only appears in the downfall timeline
Liam White thats not the master sword. Its *skyward sword*
Damian Disbrow that's some super shitty evidence right there
I don't think the stripe is yellow, but what really matters is that the stripe exists. Only one Link outside the Fallen hero timeline has a stripe and that's Link from Twilight princess. But you could also argue that the rest of the outfit looks a lot like the outfits Links from the Fallen Hero timeline used
I have played the games, read the novels and mangas, articles, seen interviews. Though I've never- NEVER thought that reading the mangas would come to help me, as I was reading the end of the Ocarina of Time Manga, there was bonus mini bonus! What did that bonus include? A BIRD RACE! As we know as a the Rito! They were only identified as a a tribe!
Manga isn't cannon

Not going to lie. I thought it was the fact that all instances of the hero's tunic in the fallen timeline had brown sleeves.

OH MY GOD DOOD FOR REAL..
I did that too😭
ooh man, WHY did they have to put "No." as the first response to "Did you understand?"
I have never related to something soo much in my life
I'm surprised you didn't mention the Oracle of Seasons/Ages true ending.
Calamity Ganon is described as "an incomplete form that Ganon assumed when he was interrupted while trying to reincarnate himself."
In the true ending to Seasons/Ages, YOU interrupt his reincarnation, which causes him to be revived as a feral beast form of Ganon, no intelligence to speak of, just pure rage and animal instinct.
What if this was the catalyst, the first step to his deterioration into his Calamity Form?
I also thought this was important
That's why I said it was the catalyst, the first step in a spiral downwards, you think about it, in ALBW, he is also feral and weakened, so much so that (SPOILERS AHEAD) Yuga was able to absorb his power and not be overwhelmed by his control.
And AoL the entire games sub-the plot is that Ganon needs Link's blood to be resurrected, and it's implied that Shadow Link is the Evil within Link's heart he is trying to manipulate, by beating Shadow Link, Ganon is once again beaten, even while already dead.
Basically, after his triumph in the Fallen Timeline, all he did was fail, repeatedly, over and over, worse and worse, causing him to weaken, and become less human each time
Exactly, 10,000 years is a long time, if I know the general Lore well, Wind Waker is supposed to be only a few hundred years after Ocarina, 10,000 years puts BotW millennia later than any other Zelda game from any timeline.
But it is implied at the end of BotW (SPOILERS AHEAD) that Ganon is attempting to regain his body, and with his face being more humanoid than Pig, it's heavily implied he is attempting to return to his Ganondorf form. Because it's shown in all other timelines, Ganon is only a Brink Form that uses a lot of magical stamina, so he's held that form for 10,000 years, and died in it countless times, he is losing power left and right, and it's very unlikely he'll ever be able to resurrect himself Post-BotW
But then after finishing off the Final Form Ganon, I had questions about Vaati in the other timelines...cos it seems Vaati's Eye form is Ganon's truest form or source of power...
Ric Pendragon Where did you get that quote from? I never saw that in the game.
Ric Pendragon wind waker is 100 years after oot
The joke you made about The Faces of Evil at the end was golden. I watched the Game Grumps play through and my god how did that game ever get approved to exist. Links face is burned into my brain.
Golly!
One week before tears of the kingdom :D also the zora turning into birds part was really funny
Actually, MatPat, the Zora evolving into the Rito in Wind Waker makes TONS of sense if you consider WHY did they move onto land instead of staying in the water and the answer to that is very simple: BIGGER PREDATORS!
All of the original Hyrule was completely submerged underwater because of the Great Flood and this made the waters of Zora's Domain much more open and accessible to much larger and more dangerous aquatic creatures like giant sharks and the Big Octos for them to enter the domain and EAT the Zora! This is one of the reasons why Zora normally only live in lakes and rivers instead of the open ocean; no large predators capable of hunting down the Zora. Zora are normally human-sized, so things like swarms of giant sharks, a sea monster, or a Big Octo could easily overwhelm and overpower the Zora without much effort.
So because of the safety of their home being compromised by the Great Flood and the giant marine predators, the Zora HAD to leave the sea in order to keep from being eaten into extinction. However, another problem from this: how are the Zora supposed to communicate with and travel around the outside islands without having to risk swimming through the predator riddled ocean? Air travel. By becoming the Rito and growing wings to fly, they both gain access to the other islands and gain a much safer method of travel that won't involve fewer enounters with marine predators much bigger and stronger than they are.
It's basic evolution, MatPat...
in fact the Gods changed the zora so there could not swim down to hyrule
salty water. the normal zoras cant live in that
Also take into account the lack of sunlight getting down to aquatic plants meaning the zora's main source of food would likely die off. The mixing of salt water and fresh water, as well as the pressure change would make life uninhabitable for any fish life. it's strange that even octorocs are able to survive to become big enough . . . wait.
It's been proven that water pressure dictates size of fish, there was an experiment where a bunch of fish from birth were placed in different pressure tanks, and they all grew to different sizes directly correlating with their tank's pressure.
Nintendo you clever Bastards.
Really? The strap is the first thing you notice? Not the brown sleeves, or the little strings on the chest?
Jeff Hansen you look at links chest first?
I think that strap looks more light green then anything. You would think it would be bright yellow.
The outfit is also exactly the one the he wears in the failed hero timeline. He wears that specific one through the timeline but it changes in the other two
*SLAPS ON BOTH CHEECKS*
Check the wiki, it's definitely a bright yellow.

Has anyone at Nintendo ever said anything about Zelda being able to see through time? No? Then that's not evidence.
The theory of the Rito being in the Downfall timeline isn’t very strong, so i doubt it’s true. If they were, why are they hostile? I think BoTW takes place at the end of the Child Timeline. Here’s my evidence:
- The Zora may have not been extinct, and people may have just thought they were. There are instances in real life where a species is declared extinct, only for it to pop up again in the future.
- It’s the only timeline where all 4 names of the Divine Beasts are known to the world, as Meldey only shows up in the Adult Timeline
- Zelda’s mention of the Twilight could be in reference to the Twili creatures, who were known in the Unified timeline before the split. Just because it’s not shown (yet), the Twilight Realm and the Twili probably exist in all three timelines. There’s no reason that they shouldn’t.
- Seeing the Mirror Of Twilight in BoTW should prove that’s it’s not in the Child Timeline. We know that it takes place at the end of one of the timelines, so if it’s in the Child Timeline, we shouldn’t see it as in the end of the Timeline, as it was shattered out of it’s frame into a million tiny pieces at the end of Twilight Princess, unable to be repaired. It probably exists in the other timelines like the twili. Again, there’s no reason that it shouldn’t
- Rock Salt. That’s it. ROCK SALT IS THE KEY
It take place so far in the future that all the timelines collaborate
Did anybody else think he was going to say all of the hero is defeated links have brown sleeves? I didn’t notice the hat but the sleeves (or under pieces) stuck out really strongly to me :/
BBaggins 2112 I did and longer hair then the other heroes
lol also you can imply Fallen heroe has brown sleeves, child link has green sleeves, and adult link has short sleeves
You can also notice two cross string things on the neck of the shirt. There are many features that are simular.
Yeah and I’m looking at the tunic rn in my game and it doesn’t ’ have the yellow band/strap it’s green FFS!
pescalante2, it is yellow, but it's just because: 1 - lighting that makes it look green, and or 2 - maybe, a mix between yellow and some green ( just a pinch of green). But overall, now we know where it places in. So yaaay😄

9:04 -"this mountain formation is only found in games in the failed era". There's an island named spectacle island in wind waker
That's an "island". Not a mountain. Big difference.
In Wind Waker, Hyrule flooded and the 'islands' are the remains of high ground. Logically, that includes mountains.
gamephreak5 Lol? Go read a geography book
Spectacle island is only _theorized_ to be spectacle rock, and it certainly doesn't have the same shape as spectacle rock, if the water in WW was removed, spectacle island would look like a large mountain that has two flat peaks, as opposed to what spectacle rock actually looks like which is two small nearly identical flat-top hills next to each other.
He even pointed to Hyrule Castle and didn't get it. Mountains and islands are one thing. Actual manmade structures are different. Those mountains would have been around since SS. TP's castle would have been around only in the CT.
The wild armor set is also the one that most closely resembles the OG in every other way. Instead of pants he has shorts, and his sleeves are brown... And it has the OG x-pattern stitching on the tunic near the neck.
