    Nam Jim Jaew is Isaan (North Eastern Thailand) dipping sauce.
    Many Thai Isaan food either being influenced or shared with Lao cuisine since Laos and Thailand are neighbors 💕
    In this video I’m sharing 2 versions of how to make Nam Jim Jaew.
    The first one is the tamarind version and the second one we'll use limes.
    Let's have a look!

    Chili Powder in the US looks quite different, lacks the seeds and flaky bits.
    Would that be what we call crushed red pepper?

    • @ThaiGirlintheKitchen
      @ThaiGirlintheKitchen  Před 2 měsíci

      It is and also quite less spicy.
      I’d recommend to look for Thai chili powder/Cayenne chili powder/Korean chili powder or the safe bet is to get them from Asian stores
