Really clean....
It seems the local historical society is really taking ownership of a lot of items in here. Add a printed portrait. And some documentation. I see why they lock it up. They want to keep it in good repair and upgrade it. Such as noted with the lettering darkening. Nice to see an older place treated with due respect and care. Very nice to see active maintenance. Very good content on this one. Good find.

Hey Tony, when you see the word Corp after an organization, it is pronounced Core, as in the Marine 'Core'.
Another excellent video, and very educational as well! I didn't know about the Kero burners behind the walls, that is rather old tech, as the new Mausoleums use better ventilation with larger ducts that vent from the ground to the roof to move the fumes, if any, to get out without any impediments.
From the looks of the facility, they did a good job designing the roof, to keep it from leaking! The passages behind the walls were dry and free of plant growth.
Did I pronounce it wrong? Thought I said it right , because I do know that unless it was a slip and I didn’t realize it. .. oh well haha

I’ve never heard that about the kerosene boxes.
I showed my hubs the video,and he told me a lot businesses and farms in the old days used to use kerosene a lot to cut down on smells. He said he never saw them in the crypts or mausoleums either.

This place is fascinating! It was very kind of that grounds keeper to let you in. I love the color of the crypts, ( gray, I think? ) Thank you for the look behind the scenes, I never heard of those kerosene boxes before. These older mausoleums have a class all their own. Hey are you aware that when you are speaking your voice has the tendency to go down making it hard to hear what you are saying?
It’s weird before upload it to CZcams. I watched it and it came through pretty loud and clear and then after I uploaded it did that. On top, of which I probably was using my inside voice, and not realizing it.

Suggestion: use the term "founders" instead of adding fathers since the founders did not protect or recognize half the population, i.e., women. Alas, women still have no country in the U.S.
