I am always amazed at the beauty of these graves and mausoleums. After watching you and Serenity Sue for so long, l have realised that buried isn't t for me, and once your loved ones have passed it,s a shame that their graves are left to decay as their bodies have. Almost 200 years later, their names are forgotten, and their graves are weeded over even collapsing in. Their families are all gone, so who where they what did they do, where they lived, how many children did they have, the list goes on, never to be answered. It,s because of you both you bring the names to life again, the people and families to life again thank you both for your hard work l just wish there were more people around the world telling the stories of the deceased.

Dont be so hasty about burials , my dear mother, Bless her heart, came to me in a dream after she died , and , in my dream ,i was so glad to see her , i asked her if she was ok ,i asked her many questions ,i asked her if it hurt her when she died ,
She told me that the worst part about dying was her cremation ,because she FELT IT!

    WOW!!
The McCabe Mausoleum was quite the stunning interior! Tiled walls and pictures, and the coffins sitting as if they were just placed yesterday, just the cobwebs to show otherwise!
When you showed the view through the keyhole in the basement of the church, I thought I saw a tarp, but I broke out laughing when I saw it was a pile of hay! You would think it was storage for the gardener with the ladders and all! I suspect they might have stored coffins there in the winter when it was too hard to dig a grave in the winter.
When you looked in the McCabe Mausoleum through the window, you could see the decay after so many years. The 'chairs' were kneeling benches for praying.
    A great video! Thank you!

@@GraveVisitations I would suspect it it is used when a new grave is filled in and they spread grass seed and cover it with hay/straw mulch to protect it, so it wasn't a big mystery as to why it was there, but it made more sense for the space to be for the groundskeepers and not a permanent mausoleum/crypt.

@cathys7087 This is Deansgrange cemetery in Dublin. It's not forgotten despite all the weeds you see growing on graves. It is still an active cemetery and several of my family and friends are at rest here. There is a problem in that a particularly prolific weed called mare's tail has taken over. Despite complaints the authorities responsible for the upkeep of the cemetery have been very slow to deal with it. Each time I visit my loved ones I do a bit of weeding and tidying of adjacent graves.
