HJC I30 Helmet - Mic, Camera, and Pinlock Set up

- I hope this will be my last non-riding video for the year.
However, in this video I show you how I mount my Sony helmet camera, and the Movo boom mic. Being this helmet is designed for use with the HJC Smart 10B/20B system, it was a surprise to see channels molded into the helmet to run cables for the mic.
The I30 helmet comes Pinlock ready. I have never had a Pinlock on any helmet, so I don't know what exactly I'm doing. It took me several tries, before I finally got it mounted properly.

I just bought the HJC I30 for summer months here in East TX. I went up a size from what was recommend. Just waiting on it to come in. Did yours ever get to fitting better? as far as not as tight?
The I30 fits just fine. You want the helemt tight, you don't want a loose fitting lid.
Now that you've had this helmet for a while, had it through the summer, how do you like it? Any complaints? I just ordered one, will be here Wednesday.
It's been good. More comfortable than the LS2. The sunshield doesn't move as easily as I would like, but it still works. That's my only issue with the I30
@@ChefHikerBikerNice, thanks for the quick reply. I'm excited to get mine, my LS2 helmet is old and so it was time to replace it. I got the matte titanium gray that I think will match the Industrial Grey Denim color of my bike pretty well, so excited to see how that looks! My current helmet is also a 3/4 with the 3 snaps for the face shield, and it rattles too muchf or my liking, so I am excited to have a helmet that doesn't rattle too lol

@@ChefHikerBikerThe Large didn't fit me, so I ended up returning it and getting an XL. Man I love this helmet. It is so much quieter than my previous one, and so comfortable. I love the shield, it makes it so my beard doesn't come up inside because it's closer to my face. Definitely happy with this one!
