Hi! I usually have to make a FBA for most garments but I didn’t need to with this as it’s so generous. If you want to bind with stretch fabric I wouldn’t cut on bias, Just cut a 2” strip on most stretchy direction and fold in half to attach.
I made a toile of this today , the top is too big but the bottoms fit nicely. I made a size 18, is there a way I can put a smaller top on the bottoms ?
It may be possible but I’m not sure! You have to be careful otherwise you will have the problem I had with getting it off. Have you actually sewn the top to the bottoms yet? If not you would be better to do that first as you could lose vital undressing space. Also don’t forget there is a very long tie so you can really pull in the waist with that. Let me know if you need more help. X
